Doesnt return phone calls...sad...solid mechanic and friendly owner.

Have lived all over the country. Washington, Oregon, California, Missouri and others . I have always looked to find a great mechanic. Well glad to say Ive found the one here in Buffalo, NY. He is very fair priced and very knowledgeable. He will step away fro. His current project if he can and come out to help you with quick fixes. As other shops will require u to make an appt. He his definitely like the mechanics when I grew up. Will help u out if he can quickly to get u back on the road. He is a very STAND UP GUY. Will definitely be going back with other vehicle issues.

Amazing prices and it is super close to my home. John was so friendly and personable and explained to me in great detail what was wrong with my car. And did NOT disappoint. I believe I have found my one and only great auto repair shop and I will always reccomend. Thanks for the great service. 🤗☺️

This is a great place to have auto repairs done. John is a great automotive technician who can fix everything I throw at him with honesty and great pricing. This is a place you can go and get professional quality work done for a great price and a quick turnover. John also stands behind his work 5 star for me.

Its been maybe just under a month since Johnny put the new motor in so this review is current. He was super friendly, explained what happened and told me what to look for in the future since me being a woman and no knowledge of auto mechanics whatsoever I thought was really refreshing.. most people dont take the time out to do that and he got the job done with a quickness meaning I got it towed there on a Thursday and it was ready by Monday!! Definitely will be a repeat customer and will be the 1st place I refer to anyone!!

I have been taking my vehicle to John for years. He’s very honest, respectful, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, always explains and show me what needs to be done and why, very speedy and thorough with his work, etc. I can’t say enough good things about John and his amazing work ethic!!! I highly recommend him as a mechanic to anyone and everyone who needs car repairs!!! He gets 5 stars from me!!PS: Dear California dog, maybe Petsmart would be a more appropriate place to go to for your needs and not an Auto Repair Shop. Next time, take your owner elsewhere. Very Clean and respectable auto repair shop. John knows his vehicles and if he cant figure it out will continue to get to the bottom of the problem. Diesels, cars bikes you name it he knows it. Prices are excellent compared to other shops!! Highly recommend!!!!

Beware this person. He is a violent man and has no morals or ethics. After a negative review got posted about him he got all his friends and/or made up his own 5 star reviews in an attempt to bury this review. 10 reviews were posted within an HOUR of the bad review and now there is a steady stream of positive reviews. He is not to be trusted and he is a SCARY person!!!! Just look at the timing of all those 5 star reviews and it is clear to see how manipulative this man is, before the negative review he had maybe 1 or 2 reviews in the previous 6 months and anything older than that was for a business that moved away. SCARY! This is a business that does not try to make things right with a customer and instead threatens them with violence and then uses manipulation to try to bury the bad review... WOW!Original review:Me and my human companion narrowly escaped this place without great bodily harm today. :( We made an appointment and brought our motorcycle in to have it inspected. The guy told us I hate to be this guy but your brakes look too low to me. We were then told to replace the brake pads and then return and he would complete the inspection. My human asked if he needed to make another appointment and the man replied No, just come back and I will take care of it.Anyway with the new brake pads on the bike we returned to complete the inspection a few days later. The same man came outside while we were still on the motorcycle and told us we needed an appointment. My human stated that he told us to just come back. They argued about it for a few seconds and then the man called my owner a liar and puffed out his chin and got into my owners face. We were still standing over the 500lb bike with the kickstand up, my owner still had his helmet and gloves on, and I was sitting on the back in my dog carrier and there was no way for him to even defend himself!!! It was terrifying and my owner asked if he was going to hit him!!! Luckily my owner (older gentleman in his 50s and a good 25 years older than the nasty man working there) kept his cool and explained that he the man was angry because he knew my owner was telling the truth, at which point the man made some nasty comments about my owner being mentally handicapped.Me and my owner have 1000s of friends in the motorcycle and sports car community in California and we just moved here to Buffalo a couple weeks ago. I hope this nasty mans attitude in this auto repair shop is not tolerated here by the car and motorcycle community. Please avoid this business, it is very unprofessional and you never know what they might do to you there!

I ALWAYS TAKE MY TRUCK TO JCS AUTO REPAIR, I HAVE BEEN GOING TO HIM SINCE HIS FIRST SHOP I ONLY TRUST HIM HE IS AN HONEST PERSON WHO DOES NOT NICKEL AND DIME YOU AND ALWAYS MAKES SURE WHEN YOU LEAVE HIS SHOP THAT YOU WILL BE SAFE DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE.IM A HAPPY COSTUMER AND WHEN MY KIDS ARE OLD ENOUGH TO DRIVE AND HAVE THERE OWN VEHICLES THEY WILL BE GOING THERE TO.IM ONE HAPPY COSTUMER.😊

Wow, a talking dog. Only in California can you get a talking dog named Cecil MCdog! WTFJCs is a great place to take your car or truck for repair. Been going there for years and find John to be extremely fair not only in pricing but as a business owner.For example, last week I was getting my car worked on and was talking about my lawn mower not starting. John says to drop it off its probably a clogged carburetor due to the ethanol in the gas. I took it over and John fixed it for me that day! Now thats above and beyond service.Great guy...great service...great mechanic!

Came here on a recommendation a few years ago. I prefer to go to John, rather than go to my dealership- I trust his suggestions and never feel like he’s taking advantage of me or trying to push unnecessary products or extra “work” on me. Instead of just fixing something major or pricey, then sticking me with an outrageous bill, John will give me a call and make sure I’m ok with the price before he starts any work. I’ve never have that kind of courtesy from dealerships or big-name repair shops! Highly recommend his shop!

Weve been going to see John at JCs for years and have now followed him from the Elma to West Seneca location. John is extremely knowledgeable, fair, honest, and accomodates our busy schedules. I called to get an estimate and he said rudely “I don’t do estimates over the phone” then asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment and I said no thank you I will call some other places and he hung up on me.

Honest, good work. Job on my truck proved to be more involved than initially thought, but John didnt take me to the cleaners because of that. He still charged a fair price for the work. Will be taking my truck there again.

I have been going to JC’S Auto Repair for about 2 yrs now. Being a Sr, you want to go to a mechanic that you know is knowledgeable, you can trust, and whose prices are reasonable. This is the reason, JC Auto Repair, Mineral Springs Rd, West Seneca is my 1st choice to call. 😊

I would not take my car anywhere else, to have it fixed, but to Johns shop. He is HONEST and FAIR, and if its not broken (its not broken.) A Place You Can Trust.

Today our truck tire blew out on Clinton and Harlem...we drove the truck to Walgreens (on Harlem and Mineral Springs) where we spotted this repair shop...the owner told us to bring it over and he would put the spare on for us (even though he was closing up)...15 mins. later we were on our way...Thank you again so much...you were a life saver today!

Great shop, John is 100% knowledgable of all facets of auto repair--take my diesels there, and the cars and bikes for all the work--always done on time and very very fair prices--of you need an inspection up to an engine replacement, hes your guy--such an animal lover too--cant find this kind of standup honesty anymore in repair shops.

I live in the northtowns and work in the southtowns. Jcs used to have a shop in Elma where I first went to him about 3 or 4 years ago. He has worked on my car and most recently my sons car. I followed him from Elma to his new shop on Mineral Springs because he was always very fair and honest. He is my go to guy and if you are smart he would be yours too. He is very thorough and pays attension to detail that other mechanics often miss. On top of that, I believe that his prices are very fair. These are all the reasons why he deserves 5 stars.

Ive used this shop 4 or 5 times for inspections. Very honest and I can always get an appointment fast. I do all my own work, but when something comes up that I cant do I will take it here.
