Lindsey did a great job helping me out finding a room Scranton PA that was reasonable. My credit card is a spark business card and my boss just moved so his address had changed and it was not taking it at first. I called my boss to get his new address and Lindsay did as she had promised and called me back 5 minutes later to get the new information. She went out of her way to help me get a room for the evening not many people would do or go the extra mile the way she did. Easy to book. Answered my questions. Only thing I am disappointed about is that the hotel’s main website says the pool is closed for summer 2021. Hotel Planner did not state that anywhere on the listing and the rep did not inform me of that either. Very disappointing. One of the main reasons I booked at this hotel was because it had a pool along with the type of room that I needed. The room is non refundable so I am unable to cancel.

We had to stay at a motel nowhere near where we wanted to go and there was nothing we could do about it. We didnt end up going to lincoln coty.

DECEPTION AT ITS WORST!Id rate a zero if I could. We selected a hotel online and decided to book a room directly with that hotel. However, when booking the room, which we thought was directly with the hotel, we were UNKNOWINGLY transferred to the reservation section of a third party (Hotel Planner) and at NO TIME did the representative inform us that they were a third party. They continued with the reservation as though they were the actual hotel. I informed them that my fiance was a veteran and was told a military discount had been applied to the rate. However, when I discussed it with the hotel front desk, they stated not only did they not see the military discount that should have been applied, but if we would have booked directly, the rate would have been cheaper AND the military discount would have been applied. I called to discuss the aforementioned with the Hotel Planner representative, the only response I got was Im sorry about that.
Would of been nice if she booked it the right day it was supposed to be for the 8th because midnight hit she booked it for the 9th next day and charged my credit card for the room

Because you guys, are like teller marketers whom more than likely arent in town,nor state I want to reserve hotel accommodations in, so you have no idea of the filth that a lot of these rooms have. I think you should have mystery guess to document the unsanitary conditions. Appalling & totally disgusting .First neither mattress nor box springs had plastic coverings, and blood specks on bathroom walls. You should truly have mystery guess in all hotels and motels. Such as myself.

HotelPlanner charged my credit card twice for a hotel stay that never occurred. So, I had an out of town wedding at the Wyndham Grand of which got postponed due to COVID. Unfortunately, I made the worst mistake ever of booking with HotelPlanner instead of directly with the hotel. When I called HotelPlanner to change my reservation dates, they said they would refund me the first reservation of $416 as long as I re-booked the reservation of which was at a lower price of $219 (low season). And well, I did just that. Then, COVID became much longer then everyone expected. So, the wedding couple decided to cancel their wedding all together & elope. When I called to cancel, no one would answer lines at hotel planner nor respond to emails. That’s when I checked my credit card statement & realized HotelPlanner lied to me because not only had they charged me the 2nd reservation of $219, but they never refunded me the first charge of $416. I have disputed it with my AMEX, but HotelPlanner states reservations were non-refundable. Hotel Planner LIES to you just so that they don’t lose the reservation. I have now paid a total of almost $650 ($416 plus $219) for a hotel stay that never happened. I am writing to the BBB next. This is very unfair. I hope no one ever books with HotelPlanner again. They should be out of business!!!!
I believe this company is a scam. They’ll take reservations, charge you incorrectly, won’t return calls, can’t cancel reservations because no one picks up the call and the people in reservations down right lie to you. They put you on hold and never pick back up. I called three different times and was put on hold by all three.

My son & I were assigned a double room.The layout was pleasant with a 3/4 wall to separate the fridge/vanity-slash-ice bucket- multipurpose counter, & nice bathroom.When nature calls for a while though you cant help wishing you could diy the chipping/ stained walls (everywhere), rip out all of the icky carpet, & put up some shelf paper on ...well a shelf (in the open tiny closet).I personally know that zulily.com has lovely, homey, bright quilts/duvets on sale everyday.Theres no excuse for orangey- brownish striped (no less)- bedding & drapes.Please understand the 70s are gone;where you found these things in a Howard Johnson-We had a balcony! How fun! No comfy seating, no swimming pool cleaned or opened for that matter,If check out is at 11am, why on earth are they waking me & Briar up STARTING at 0920???By the actual check out time- I was so mad at the security guard: who called the owners, just as I was working my way up to a MIGRAINE-Since wed been given (like a favor given)A 9 x 6 space heater because no heat.We used on/off for 7 days (read that again) because: Yogi the Bear-knows who we are-We got no : Travel Nurse Discounts, no pending AARP discounts, No Covid CRISIS NURSE discount, & my biggest pet peeveNo no- heat discount...But the worst blatantly stupidity was cop-knocked at my door no less than 4x by 11am.The guard even carries keys, & a pry bar vs. an HVAC Guy, to fix the heater-Also there was no apology. Just another gangster run hotel!
