O’Hara pest & rodent control has been taking care of my house for over a year. I had a problem on a Friday evening after hours and their representative, Michael, came after hours to resolve. I recognize there aren’t many that would go so far & beyond! I highly recommend their services!

My lawn was struggling, didn’t look healthy, had lots of weeds and bare spots. I first tried Hulett and used them for 6 months. My lawn actually got worse in a number of areas. I called O’Hara and they came out and quickly diagnosed the problems and laid out a plan to fix the issues. Hulett didn’t take the time to diagnose anything. They just came and sprayed and left. I’ve waited 3 months to leave feedback because I wanted to see if I would get good results. The results are fantastic! My lawn is now full, green and practically weed free. There are fewer weeds each month. The technician who comes out each month (Brad) is super helpful and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend O’Hara!

I called OHara Pest Control for our home Tree service and I was quite impressed on how quickly they responded to my call. At my initial call I spoke with an expert about my Palm Tree and they told me they will go to look at it today. Within a couple of hours they were at my property and they identified the tree that had a virus and advised me on doing a treatment. The paperwork was sent via email and I was able to quickly send it back to have them go ahead and treat the Tree. I hope the treatment they provided will save my Tree and I will provide another review in a couple of month with even better review. Overall very impressed with the prompt service and profession service.

I called around for some affordable pest control for my mother in law suite that, and my in-laws house that is also on premises. Both houses they’ve owned for years and have struggled with small roaches. They were very communicative in answering all questions and concerns about the service and chemicals they use to make sure it was safe for my exotic pets. I was immediately scheduled for service within three days of my original call for a price they can’t be beat! They reached me on the day they said they would and called when they were in my area and were here within 15 minutes. Andrew and Brad showed up and were very friendly, professional, and quickly serviced my house. They do a follow up call for free within the next couple of weeks and they reached all my problem areas with ease. These folks are prompt and know their stuff! We were searching for a service to keep the weeds at bay on our Empire Zoysia lawn. The [insert well-known name] company that had been servicing our lawn left us overgrown with weeds and invasive centipede grass that we were assured could not be remedied. After months of speaking with managers and getting re-treatments, we finally called several companies looking to find a new service. Most companies either did not answer the phone or told us they could come out for an appointment a week or more later. When we called OHara, we were told they could be to our house within an hour. They arrived as promised and two techs spent over an hour with us, discussing our concerns and explaining the process to get our lawn back to where it should be. From the start, we could tell this is no ordinary lawn service. From the way they discussed the issues with our lawn, it was apparent that these guys understand, from a scientific perspective, what conditions we were seeing (including weeds, invasive grasses, and mold) and what different products would be required to remedy the situation. One of the guys got down on the ground and took close-up pictures of the conditions so they could be better analyzed. And all of this is done at a price lower than we were quoted from other companies. We have been OHara customers for some time now and continue to be pleased at the level of service, the responsiveness, and most of all, the results. Cannot recommend strongly enough!

I have used OHara for maintenance, irrigation and white fly treatment for a year. They have never let me down. Always responsive and dependable, they have taken very good care of my grounds for a very reasonable price. Recently, a family member needed a major landscape overhaul in a short period of time (less than a week!) and OHara put together the plan and manpower to make it work. We were amazed at how the grounds were transformed in just one day by six men. I highly recommend them.

The company is great and personable. He explains the different types of pests attacking the home and my son learns so much about ants every time they come. The response time is great and they usually come within 1-3 days of requesting service. I recommend the quarterly service, they will come anytime you want within the quarter for one fee.

We hired OHara because we were unhappy with our previous pest control company here at St. Paul of the Cross Church in North Palm Beach.We are extremely satisfied with their quality service and lower cost. We have a large property which includes a three story office building with classrooms, a commercial kitchen, large banquet rooms and many bathrooms. They target specific insect problems with bait and kill with diverse effective products. The service by Ohara’s has been excellent. They call the day prior to treating my lawn and citrus trees. When I have any questions, they are prompt with either a returned phone call, or a visit for re-treatment. They were one of the few companies in the Palm Beach area that I could find that services citrus trees. I am very satisfied with their knowledge and expertise in turf grass and citrus trees. Our HOA has contracted with the services of OHara landscaping after trying several other companies providing dismal services and lots of meetings resulting in no improvement. Our community is 30 years old. We are blessed and cursed with an aging arboreal landscape hindered by variable budgets and boards. We have begun to implement a more comprehensive long term improvement plan for our grounds. We recognize that restoring landscaping is time, energy, and financially consuming. The Landscape Committee has been assisted by Yuri and his crews in this process and we are making progress. We do call their attention to issues and get them resolved. We prefer the system OHara utilizes rather than previous companies that pull in one day, rush workers through and leave. OHara knows our community.Our Association has a contract with OHara for hurricane cleanup. We have been customers of O’Hara pest control for several years now. There had been new construction in our neighborhood, and this had contributed to a lot of pests. O’Hara always knows how to handle it. Furthermore, I had problem with ants in my car for several months and tried all kinds of things to fix it. I mentioned it to the service technician one day, and he asked if he could take a look at it for me. He fixed the problem immediately. Finally, we have small kids and pets and had been worried about toxicity. All of their stuff is safe and biodegradable, so that makes us feel better.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYS SERVICES! They use cheap chemical and not only did it not fix my problem it actually exacerbated it. I used them for 4 months and ended up hiring a better company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Will never use this pest control company again or recommend them to anyone. We paid $100/month for 6 months and the weeds in our lawn look worse than when we first acquired their services. On top of that, we have chinch bugs. Now well have to pay more money to have the large brown spots re-sodded.

We purchased a SFH in a community that uses OHara Landscaping. Weve suffered irrigation line breaks over and over again because of this company requiring repairs almost every time they show up. The worst part of this company is that they dont prune shrubbery, they butcher it. I had one beautiful Hibiscus shrub I had been growing for a privacy fence in front of one of the bedroom windows that faces the main street. Without warning (other than the loud machines coming nearer) the hedger appeared outside my window scaring me straight out of bed! By the time I jumped up he had already butchered my six foot hibiscus down to two and a half feet utterly decapitating the plant and every single bloom it had. I was furious and called the company immediately. Yuri showed up with his clip board and apologized stating he wasnt even sure if the shrub would come back. It had just gained the perfect height to cover block the window and OHara Landscaping butchered it.During my conversation with Yuri, he dutifully took notes about what and what not should be touched by the landscapers. He also suggested I put a red reflector near the plants I do not want touched by the landscapers, then offered to bring one (which he never did). Speaking with neighbors, I was informed that having a reflector doesnt do any good because the landscapers just break them anyway. However, by the time we were finished talking, Yuri assured me they wouldnt touch anything We didnt want them to do. Frankly, I told him I didnt want the landscapers touching any plant immediately around the house under the eaves.Flash forward to today. Had I not been in the lanai when the butchers showed up, they would have destroyed our night blooming jasmine which we had been nursing diligently into beautiful rounded shrubs ready to burst into flowers again.OHara Landscaping, despite my calls (two) and an email via their website, they have not responded even though one woman told me (two months ago) that she would get right back to me.Very frustrated with this company. They dont pay attention and they dont respond. Our HOA ends up spending MORE money to repair the breaks caused by the landscaping company. Shameful.

I was quoted less than $400 to have my entire sprinkler system repaired and serviced. The technician said the quote would be even less if I agreed to a servicing plan. I opted to pass on the servicing plan and just have the repairs made. I then received an email with an updated quote for $500 to have the same work done. I feel this was a bait and switch. I would never recommend working with this company.

We just purchased the home and nothing had been done to the yard other than a random mow for at least a year. O’Haras bid was double the orhers but based on meeting with Yuri I knew the quality and attention to detail would be worth it. That same day he brought his irrigation leader out as i asked for a bid and that same night i had a bid for both.The quality of work and the detail and thoroughness blew us away. We are ecstatic with the work and look forward to them maintaining our lawn.Many would try to upsell at initial meeting but Yuri said to wait and see what it looked like after clean up to determine what was needed.I have very high standards and am very picky and this team exceeded my expectation.

I bought my home in Boca Raton back in 2004. Hired Scotts, several years of paying them to make my lawn look terrible, switched to True Green. Now they are one in the same both as a company and service. Terrible. Along comes OHara Pest Control. First of all, the owner Alex, comes to my home to survey the situation. As for the backyard, his words were absolutely true. He stated that it would get worse before it gets better. The back lawn has not looked this good in years. As for the rest of the property, I am very happy. I, like most people, prefer a private family owned business. If you are one of those still giving your money the BIG Corporation, Give OHara Pest Control a call. I promise you will be happy with the service.

They have ruined my lawn. HOA has control and no one calls back from Ohara. Have had 3 broken sprinklers for over 2 months. Water shoots out like a fountain and wakes me up every morning. I laid all new sod and when they mow they tear it up more and more each week.This organization has gotten so big that they dont care. I recommend you look at a small mom and pop to do your lawn or sprinkler service. They certainly will care more and will probably even call you back.

Duri g hurricane irma, i activated out hurricane contract, on monday sept 11th Ohara sent out a crew first thing tues morning, i was impressed that that they followed the plan i had for the 110 acers, garden lks has, within 2 weeks we had our bit of Paradise, back and i am impressed how hard the crew worked Thank you to all Ohara emplyees and managers, ur hard work hasent gone unnoticed!

I bought (first one) a new house in Northwood in April with a pretty bad lawn and after searching out the best landscapers, OHara was my choice. My parents used them a while ago and they loved them so I felt pretty good about paying $2300 for new sod, some bushes and mulch.Yuri (sp) the landscaping manager, said he wanted to use two types of St Augustine grass sod to put down. No problem, hes the expert. I put my deposit down and went to NY to work for 6 months and then it all started. Half of the lawn that they put down was brown (I have pictures to back up this) and half of it was beautiful. The brown half died within a few months even though I watered it 5 times a week per Yuris recommendation. All of the bushes towards the house have died too.After seeing the lawn through pics after they laid it, I contacted the office. After 3 months of trying to get them to come out (which they did a few times) and talking to the exceptionally nice office ladies, the brown half is all weeds and dirt now. Im back in wpb and trying to clean up the mess.This doesnt seem like the OHara that I have heard so much about. I invite the management to come look at the lawn as well as all my pictures, text conversations with Yuri and emails with the office. If anyone would like to see any of these, especially the pics from day 1, with Ohara workers laying brown sod, please just email me and I will be glad to share.I hope I was the exception and not the norm when it comes to this staple landscaping company of wpb.Hope this helps anyone making a decision-Philip
