I have been coming here since I was 4 years old (currently 19). This business is amazing, very friendly employees who will have a conversation with you while cutting hair, not to mention they all cut hair insanely well. Fernando and Lester are both excellent barbers who will make sure to get you right. In addition, the barbers are friendly towards each other and allow for customer interactions which makes the environment feel homely. Prices are very well reasoned too and I have never paid more than $25 here. I love this place and will probably get my hair cut here until I’m rich enough to have them come to my house instead, at which point it will still be Fernando and Lester from VIP. That is how good these people are at cutting hair.

I have a friend who gets a haircuts here about every 2 weeks, I asked him to recommend me his barber and he told me to look for Lester at VIP. So I did just that, I called when they opened at 10am and asked for an appointment same day for 3pm, I got there 10 minutes early and he attended me at exactly 3pm. Best of all, he finished my cut at 3:24 I was shocked, the entire time he seem to know what he was doing, I left this barbershop happy, which is not always the case for me. Highly recommend Lester, as for the other Barbers I cannot speak for them but I wouldn’t hesitate to give them a try! Very professional for taking me at the exact time I requested an appointment for and giving me a fast yet thorough cut.

Barber shops are dime a dozen however good barbershops that have talented barbers, drama free environment and fair pricing, not so much. VIP is all of that . Atmosphere is important, my teenage sons get fades here and I appreciate the PG environment. If you’ve been to neighborhood barber shops, you know the deal! Hands down the best in the area is VIP. No apprentices here, profesional barbers with great customer service. Having lived 38 years in West Palm Beach I’ve been to many and VIP has been the only shop that I get consistently great fades. Fernando is my barber of choice! Super talented, check him out!

Worst place I’ve ever been I went to a Spanish guy named ferninda and he gave a rush cut and charged me for paint that I didn’t want so I then went to the other guy and he kept leaving me in the chair and finished 1:30 later I complained to management and all he said was he didn’t understand and still charged me for a soup bowl

Very nice, clean and professional. The barbers are all great and there isn’t that long of a wait, even on Saturdays. I got there and it seemed like a lot of people were waiting, however it didn’t take long before my turn. Some were waiting for a specific barber so I guess it took them a bit longer.

-First and foremost I never give 1 star reviews anywhere...-Second Ive been going to this shop for 5+ yearsA few weeks ago I came in for a simple undercut (after growing the top of my hair for 5 months) .. I gave the female barber a shot after the owner told me shes the best..Long story short...I left with a .5 BUZZ CUT...after she botched my haircut..The owner sat there and told me to calm down and did nothing about it...they had the audacity to even charge me full price...Bad bad business..Ill never be back .

This is a rating of the establishment not the barbers. It would be nice if the hostess informs customers when a barber will be taking a 1 hour lunch and provide them an alternative barber if needed. I waited 2 hours to get a cut or come back another time. Usual wait is 1 hour on Saturday mornings for a preferred barber. Theres a couple of really decent barbers worth waiting for once you get to know them. Just setting expectations would be very helpful. Ex: hostess can call each client 5 min before their turn comes up if they cant stand & wait 2hours when there not enough chairs. Also place takes cash only so go prepared. Pricing is fair.

First experience was a great experience, the barber I had did an amazing job.Second experience (today), not so much. Waited over 2 hours for a barber. My name on the list was skipped more than six times. The host seen me sitting there waiting patiently for my name to be called. And yet nothing was done. I left after seeing several people go ahead of me when I knew appointments weren’t scheduled. 2/10

There’s a young Hispanic girl that works there that pissed me off. I went to this location around noon to ask questions because I’ve never been there before. I had to go back home and wash my hair before getting my fade and I asked what time they closed. She said they close at 4 but they stop taking people at 3:30. I’m like alright cool, I’ll be back before then. I come at 3:21 and the door is locked. Found that strange. I waited at the door and the same girl came to unlock it only to tell me that they’re not taking anymore people. I’m sure you can start to imagine my frustration since this same girl that told me that they stop accepting people at 3:30 is now telling me she can’t let me in. This place is definitely not getting my service in the future off of that experience. Don’t tell people false information next time.

Bros, if you want to keep your hairline, DO NOT go to to Richard or the newbie in the far right corner. Richard will push your hairline back to the slave times. And when you call him out, he acts like he doesnt speak creole or English. The newbie is even worse. My hairline has been pushed to the top of my head because this dude messed up. He even told me to Stand up, because he was trying to see how to fix his mistake. If you care about your hairline, your friends hairline, or your childrens hairline, KEEP AWAY FROM THESE DUDES.

Great environment with amazing barbers the place to come for a haircut hands down.

I’ve been there twice in the past month to get my beard together. The first time I asked to trim the split ends on my beard just to even it up and he was too busy on his phone and cut an inch off... the second time I gave detailed instructions on how I wanted it and it still got messed up to the point I cut it off. Just to start over fresh. You would do better just buying clippers and cutting it your hair yourself.Nothing worse than barbers that can’t follow directions. Smh.

I tried this shop as a local alternative to going to juniors barber shop and they have done such a great job every time. There are at least 5 barbers on every time Ive been (10+ times) but on weekends up to 8. Young staff, laid back environment, fair prices....you should give them a shot! Im glad i did.

I been going here for a few years on and off and its a hit or miss. They have maybe 1 or 2 great barbers. I just left there and they took my hairline back for one and for two ITS UNEVEN. I wouldnt recommend and that was my last time going there.

My 2 year old is terrified of getting his hair cut. We have tried different places and stopped here on a whim. Rayli got my son to sit, played with him and helped him stay calm and gave him a great hair cut. I definitely will be going back in two weeks and will definitely be asking for Rayli.

Place sucks, only 2 guys know how to cut ( Johnny and Chris) the rest are still learning....Asked for fade and ended up with bowl cut no blending whatsoever. Had to end up going to another barbershop to have my haircut fixed!!

Terrible ... Just terrible I went 4 times and of those 4 times my hairline came out looking like a damn slope, I asked the man specificly not to push my hairline back and he did just that. -___-Woulda thought I was paying $15 and giving you a tip ( heres a tip, learn to cut properly and stop thinking all hair textures are the same, you cant cut all hair the same way ), today was my last day going to this barbershop.

Prices are fine, but this is like the 2nd time in a row my hair has gotten messed up. Last time I told the guy, about half off the top, (and my hair was well over 2 inches at the time). I come out of the seat and my hair was about 1/5th and inch High.... then I went there saying Id give it another try and the barber pushed my hairline back half an inch and made it super rounded. Im honestly done going here. I looked ugly before but now its just bad lol.

Wont be coming back . I called to see if the barber named Ray was there to cut my hair was, Ray was there and I talked to him over the phone and he told me he had no appointments and to come. So I come, sign my name on the list and Rays name as the barber I wanted to cut my hair, when my name was called I see Ray pointing to the seat he wanted me to seat down in only to have another barber come over and cut my hair as he took his homeboy that came after me. They dont value their customers been going here for over a year. Today was my last day.

Very trash. Dont go there if you want to wait 3 hours for a hair cut. The barbers are always on their phones and not paying attention to the task at hand. And also there is a lazy fat clerk at the front desk who will most likely skip your name after calling it two times with very low base in her voice.

Terrible place. Went there for years until finally I had to find another barbershop. No English speaking receptionist. Ive sat and waited for a cut only to be skipped by a random patron walking in. The staff ha so respect for women (dont bring your girlfriend to here to wit for you).
