When I moved here from Michigan 5 years ago I probably went to 5 or 6 barbershops before I got to Latch’s shop. I haven’t got cut anywhere since. The professionalism, quality, cleanliness, family friendliness, location, and the positive & fun energy that is constantly flowing around in there can’t be beat. I could go on and on about the great things the shop has to offer. I always hear them saying hello and greeting walk-ins or anyone who walks through the door with great attention. For me personally I know the barbers take great detail in their work, especially Mike he’s the GOAT. Doesn’t rush and always kills it and I know the others take pride in their work as well. Must stop if you are looking for a new and better barbershop.

John is an excellent barber. He is very PATIENT with my 7 year old and 11 year, a problem I had in the past with his previous barber. I am always 100% satisfied with his service.I have tried several barbers in west palm Beach. John is the best.

Latch Life Barber Shop is another one of those Barber Shops in the Palm Beach County that has that vibe of the Barber Shop movie with Ice Cube. Everyone is chill, place is clean, they have TVs inside of the barber shop with sport channels and music in the background, the barber shop in general is modern and barbers are nice/respectful towards their customers.A cut is around $15 dollars for senior citizens and anyone younger than 17. Everyone else is $25 for a normal cut, but if you want your beard trimmed then its $30 for the cut. It takes around 1 hour - 1 hour and 30 minutes until the barber is done. Its not your normal hair cuttery place where it takes 15 - 30 minutes, the artist comes out of them.Overall, its a great barber shop and I recommend anyone to go here, no matter the age.

This place doesnt have appropriate standards in place to mitigate the spread of covid. Very irresponsible and unsafe. I was most shocked by how unprofessional the place is. The barber Dom aka divine is unpunctual, inconsiderate. I booked a month in advance for a skin fade my appointment was for 9:00am and waited 30 minutes w/o no service he simply didn’t show up and cancelled with no notification of the 24hours policy from the booksy app, last minute with no consideration of my time... Definitely not worth the $45 fade total scam! I guess they definitely do not care about their customer base. Because of this they have lost me as a customer and many more I’m sure. their business practices are horrible. Hopefully the owner of this place does care and changes the way employees treat what could’ve been loyal customers. I will never be back and will advice anyone I know of the same. Instead I went down the street to a different shop. I was treated with respect and they have gained my business along with my large family and friends. And will go over my way to tell everyone not to go to the latch Life trash service for hair cuts/fades!

Awful cut. I asked for a skin fade, half off the top and a tape. I left looking worse than I came in. No tape, no razor, barely took any off the top and no fade. It’s disappointing to be given such a terrible cut.

Went in to get a haircut and was immediately was greeted by everyone at the door, what stood out to me was a barber named Ray. He made me feel at home and did everything I asked for. Great experience overall, would definitely recommended him to anyone looking for a new barber!

Used to come here regularly for my husband & my two boys.Every time I come inside I feel like I’m bothering them. Never hi how are you. Always “do you have an appointment”.Today we walked in to get my boys their haircut with ‘Dom’. We had made an appointment on their online appointment app ‘booksy’. We got here a few minutes late because church ran a little late. (Mind you everything is done on the app. Communication is very difficult). We got here to find out “dom left because he had to be something to do”We scheduled two appointments so either way If we were late for the first one. What about the second?Completely disappointment with the lack of professionalism & work ethic.It’s like they don’t want to work & scheduling an appointment is a bother. So maybe find another job?We will not be back again.

I went to this barber shop about a year ago to get a temp fade, but the guy that did my cut did a terrible job.. Im sure he can cut hair great because he was recommended, but he didnt take his time or anything on my hair. and the line up was terrible, he claims he wanted my hair line to grow in, but it was a while since I got a line up or cut so, I knew he was lying. If you not getting your cut by the owner Chris then its not worth it. Most of the pics of good hair cuts are from him anyways..

Took my new born (5 weeks old) to this barber shop and they gave my boy a life changing hair cut! He came in with 3 hairs on his little head and left with a full Mohawk! At first I didnt think Vinchenso (my boy) could pull it off. But they really knew what they were doing! Highly recommend the cuts from this shop. Its not just a cut, its a life style.

I used to go here on the regular, but I wont be back ever again. This place his whack.First, everyone in here acts completely bothered by you unless you make an appointment on the Booksy app. I cant tell you how many times Ive gone in, sat down, and nobody has said a word to me for the longest time. These dudes just act like youre invisible if you dont already have an established relationship with one of them, and Ive personally seen how they sneer at people who come in as a walk and want to be seen without an appointment (behind their back once they leave of course).So fine, I get the app and start scheduling haircuts at least a week in advance. First time I ever make an appointment, though, the guy cancels on me the day of the appointment. Strike one, but not the end of the world. I still came the next day.Now, Ill admit that he gave a great cut (as most of the guys in here seem to do), so much so that every single time I came in I would tip $20 on a $20 hair cut. But, strike two was when I came in a few weeks ago for my appointment and the guy was nowhere in sight. About 15 minutes went by and Im asked if I have an appointment. I said yes, but then was told that the guy wasnt there, and of course, nobody could be bothered at all to squeeze in a walk, despite the fact that I had been coming there for a while now and always tipped generously. So I had to just get up and leave. I understand life happens, but my contact info is on the app they push on everyone. Use it and let me know you cant make the appointment. Damn.So today, I decided to give a different guy a try and go in for a 4 PM appointment. When I walk in, I see the guy I made an appointment with cutting someone elses hair, so I sit down to patiently wait. I figured maybe he was just finishing up. But after about 10 minutes, when nobody said a word to me, and it looked like he was actually just getting started with the dudes cut, I just got up and walked out. I wont be back.Its ironic that these guys in here act like their time is so valuable that an appointment is a must, yet they cant give the same respect back to their customers. True, the guys in here are talented, but, with customer service like this, why bother? Take your money to one of the million other barber shops out there and save yourself the hassle, as Im sure theyd be happy to provide you great service - whether youre a walk-in or not.

Latch Life has a chill old school barbershop vibe to it with modern decor. The music is always on point and the conversations are informational to say the least. I get my haircut by Nik. He does the best fade in South Florida and is always a professional. Latch Life Fades gets you laid. No shop is sharper than this spot.

Came to this place on Sunday at 3:05 pm and ended up leaving without a hair cut at 4:57. Nearly two hours waiting, and I understand I was a walk in, but two hours was excesive. I was told I was next, but when the barber that was supposed to take care of me became available he decided to start cleaning the floors, knowing that I had been waiting for 2 hours. Might have been something out of the ordinary, but to me this was a horrible experience, do not come here if you are looking for a last minute barbershop, wasted precious time waiting.

My boys love Coming here. chris the owner does a great job and Im going to text him directly next time. The other 2 guys that have cut my boys are too rough. One is the dank skin overweight guy under the TV. and the guy next to him which is a skinny semi short guy. These two guys I dont like to rough and take too long and I dont like the way they cut my boys h ai r. Maybe for someone else these guys would be for them but Im staying with Chris Latch.

Went is as a walk-in waited 1hr before anyone even said hello to me. The man in the first spot on the right side asked if i had an appointment i said no i dont know and he said okay. Another 30mins goes by and i ask him if he can cut me and he says no i have appts. No one even tried to give me a cut. So after 90mins of my life wasted i decided to leave and the same man apologized. I have never been to a shop where this happened. I will not be back.
