I recently had my hair highlighted here and had a fantastic experience at Chroma Salon. I had really dark roots with brassy ends and Silvana transformed my hair into a beautiful blonde. She takes her time and you can tell that she is very passionate about what she does. She made me feel comfortable during my appointment and the salon was absolutely spotless. She and her staff are taking all the necessary precautions to keep customers safe during the pandemic - she is a true professional. Very happy to have found her!

The owner did my hair and made me look literally like a skunk. I asked for a Balayage that was brought up higher (close to the roots) and instead she put in foils that were completely not symmetric and not even from one side of my head to the other when parted in the middle. They were not faded like balayage at the root. Further she rushed me out because she had another client waiting, parted my hair on side even though I told her I wear it in the middle, and did not fully dry my hair so I could not see the uneven result until I got home. When I requested a refund she would not provide it. This was absolutely the worst hair service I have had ever. When I showed the photos to other hairstylist they were appalled at how badly she did my hair and how uneven/not symmetric the highlights were. Please do not go to the salon. -AnnaUpdate response to owners response: I have attached photos of the work the owner of Chroma Salon did to my hair (see below). I sent her a photo of the photo with faded balayage close to root attached (my roots were grown out). I did not ask for an unsymmetrical, super thick highlights look but BALAYAGE that is traditionally always blended brought higher toward my root. I was extremely clear as to what I wanted and even sent her the photo on messenger (its attached). I never told the owner what stylist I have been to before as he lives were up north so she wouldnt even recognize him (stylist in NY), so her reply is a blatant lie. Also I paid Vertu Salon (Crystal, who I highly recommend) $450 to fix the work and damage done by Chroma Salon, so money was not an objective and both Crystal and her salon agreed that the work done by Chroma was horrible (print screen attached) with that is so sad as the response to what Chroma did to my hair. I tone my hair at home and sometimes do my roots as its easy for me and saves me from visiting salon ever 3-4 weeks as my hair grows really fast. It has nothing to do with money, but convenience and time saving. Toning my hair takes 15 minutes at home, versus drive time and half hour + at salon. Also I had an event to attend the same night my hair was done so I was forced to tone my roots at home myself after going to what I believed was a professional hair salon so I would not have to attend a business meeting with stripes and orange hair. The lack of even an apology from the owner for the terrible work is appalling and sad, and worse trying to discredit me by practically calling my a liar, when the photos are clear evidence of her poor quality balayage and the work being nothing like the photo I sent her that I also attached herein. Please save yourself the aggravation and embarrasment and DO NOT USE THIS SALON.

Today was my first time at this adorable, clean, friendly salon and I could not be more please with my decision to get a full day of service.Lindsay did an excellent job on my hair cut and also my Keratin treatment. Siilvana mixed my color and it was a perfect match. Isabella was a wonderful assistant throughout the day. While I was waiting with my color application, Lindsay did a great job on reshaping my eyebrows. I strongly recommend Chroma Salon and I will be booking my daughters haircuts as well.

I went to this salon about a month back. I was the only person there at 5:30 on a Friday and had a great experience with Silvana. She is wonderful, very kind, asks questions, and makes sure she is doing what you want. The atmosphere is great as well. It is a bit on the pricey side, but worth it if you want a good haircut and havent been in a while!

So grateful to Ms. Lindsey for taking me on as a new client during this season. I am so lucky to have found her. I could not be more pleased with my color!

Had the pleasure of coming to this salon to get full highlight and trim. I came from out of town so this was my first time here. When I came into salon I was approached with a warm, friendly welcome by Silvana. The salon itself was very clean with a great atmosphere.My stylist was Lindsey and she did a phenomenal job on my hair. I came in with horrendous roots showing due to the quarantine. I am not a natural blonde so getting the desired blonde I want can be tricky at times. I showed Lindsey a picture of the exact blonde shade I wanted and she gave me beautiful results. The shade was perfect and just what I asked for. I am bit reluctant about trimming my hair but Lindsey did a beautiful trim and blow dry at the end.I came into work this morning and have already had so many compliments on my hair. I definitely recommend this salon and especially to blondes!:) They are very knowledgeable on color

Silvana did my hair and she did an amazing job!!! My hair was a golden blonde color when I came in, and a level 9, and I wanted it to be icy white, a level 10. That’s a little bit of a risky process lifting your hair only one level, because any lighter than a 10 and you’ve fried your hair. Silvana did it PERFECTLY!! You can definitely trust her with your hair!! I wish I could upload a photo, but my hair is a perfect icy white blonde with no damage!!!! She’s amazing and I will definitely be coming back!

Sylvana has cut my hair for the last 6 months and I do not intend to anywhere else.I’m going bald and Sylvana all but makes it unnoticeable.The price is more than reasonable and the chroma is also quick and flexible with appointments.

I moved to WPB a couple months ago and was in search of a new salon. I started going to Chroma for teeth whitening and blow outs and was blown away every single time by the aesthetic of this salon, the amount of professionalism shown by employees and how customer service oriented this place is. I’ve always left the salon feeling better than when I walked in.This also applies to my latest experience at Chroma. I recently took a trip to Vegas where I was talked into trying a Balayage for the first time. Haven’t put bleach in my hair in years but I figured I’d give it a try. Turns out I absolutely hated it, my hair looked and felt completely damaged and I knew I needed a fix me up ASAP.I called Silvana the second I got home from my trip and she was able to get me first thing in the morning the very next day. Walking into the salon I was stressed/embarrassed at how my hair looked. Silvana was kind and patient and told me not to worry, that we’d get my hair back to normal, and that’s exactly what she did!Leaving the salon, I felt like a million bucks. I truly felt like myself again. This really confirmed why I love this salon, the stylists and why I will be returning again.

LOVE this salon! I am super picky with my hair and this is the first salon Ive been too that actually keeps my hair long while still getting rid of my split ends. My hair has officially been turned completely brassy after asking for a beige ombre. As I understand going from dark to light may take a couple of treatments, I did not feel comfortable going back because of the amount of hair breakage I had. A complimentary treatment was offered after the fact I had complained a day later. I cancelled on account I came down with the flu and told others about my experience. I informed the stylist i did not feel comfortable going back because i was not confident in her ability to get my hair to the beige color I was trying to achieve. I am certain this review will be replied by the owner with something like your hair was over processed with red and if we made it any lighter it would have fallen out. If she was a professional should should have known to inform me in advance that it would have taken another visit to accomplish what i wanted but instead she insisted that I told her i loved it when I clearly had disapproval vocally and by my expression. All i wanted was to be refunded for the color that was not 100% completed and she refused by telling me she was uncomfortable fixing my hair! That is completely absurd and very unprofessional. I now have brassy hair and will have to live with it for several months until i can afford to fix it. Thank you Silvana for taking NO accountability.

I wish I could give 0 stars . Worst mistake of my life was going there . I went in to lighten my very dark hair . First they did not believe my hair was as dark as it was and they said they can lighten it . They needed up coloring my hair again dark which G-d knows how much I paid for that when i was supposed to go lighter. Then my highlights were orange because they said my hair was to dark and it didn’t lift enough . I also had her cut my hair that day short on one side and I paid 75.00 but she didn’t even trim the other side . I left the salon paying 340 dollars for half a haircut, wrong color .I called and they said I can come back and they will fix, they lightened my hair again and charged me 55.00 for product . It was so burnt and the color was not that great and was a huge blob of white hair on top my black hair . So I asked about keratin and they said it was safe . She did keratin on blonde part and started to change color and I could see it was. It working . I was so tears . I had her stop in middle, calledMY mom and begged her to find a new salon that could fix this mess . Also burnt my scalp with straightening iron and I said she was burning me and she said she wasn’t .The place I went to blended / melted my hair and cut the dead hair off and I have the most awesome color and haircut . I can’t believe I spent 340 there first time and then 115 plus a tip second time to correct . I hope to fight the charges and get some money back . I know my hair is dark so if you don’t have talent enough to work with dark hair just be truthful . Edward James salon is amazing fixed chroma salon disaster . I have never ever complained about hair because you can cut it off but to pay over 500.00 they should be ashamed . I want money back for the dark brown color they used on me that I didn’t ask for, the half a haircut she didn’t even touch the side at all, the Keratin that turned the blonde red lush pink . I think to give me back 300.00 is good business but they won’t . Who charges someone to correct what they did wrong. I even tipped them 40 first time then another 15 as I left in tears . Will be posting to Facebook too and BBB because this was downright awful . Lucky my scalp wasn’t toBurnt .So just received responseI had shiny dark hair when I went inShe messed it upWill be posting before and after pics . Loved everything! Everyone was very friendly. Offered me drinks when I sat on the chair. Sharon was so great in asking what I wanted to do. My hair is very thick and frizzy and she did such beautiful job coloring my hair and she gave me a great haircut and blowdry.

It is possible that customers who go there for simple hair trim or manicure are very happy with the place but I tried for hair color and cut.After consulting with Sulvania the supervisor I was assigned to Jackie for coloring. At the end of the job I emerged as a clown,character from a horror movie ! My wife had a good laugh at my expense,took my photos and could not stop laughing. Big blotches of colors,shoddy clean up job,uneven thickness of eyebrows to name the few.I paid $100+20 and quietly walked out,speechless ! They have no clue about coloring aesthetics . The after cleaning was completed by my wife when we got home. What struck me strange is that the supervisor Sylvania was glued to Google at her computer at all time, never cared to glance at my horror work in progress. What was I suppose to do ? Be an ugly American and create a scene or get out quietly,I chose the later. Now I have to go to another facility for corrective measures, spend more money. This is not a good place for coloring. People take no pride or evaluate their own work. I am very sorry I went there.
