Careful! They discriminate if youve had covid in the past.They refused to take my car because I told the driver I believed I had covid (never was tested) almost 2 weeks prior, but I would be beyond the period I would be contagious.I was never within 6 feet of the driver but he didnt want to have contact with the vehicle and just left without as much as a sorry.Avoid this company if you can!

My car got a flat tire and I had no idea what to do as my parents were out of town. I called Kauffs and they were so kind to help me immediately and help me figure out what to do. In under an hour Erik called me and said that he was on his way. He was so professional and kind. Kauffs and Erik walked me through each step and got my car safely towed to the dealership. Couldnt of had a better experience.

Our car wouldn’t start this morning and our insurance dispatched Kauff’s. Rivera took the time to look into the problem. Apparently he had several jobs this morning with the same situation due to wet wiring. He didn’t want us to be ripped off by a repair shop if it was the same situation, which it was!! Used them twice. First time towing the car home the young guy driving was fine but neglected to give me an adequate receipt. Okay not a big deal, I was glad to get home. I called and got it from the office. Second time towing my car to the mechanic the driver was really rude and obnoxious. Didnt want me riding in the truck with him to take my car to the shop. Had to call the office to make him get it. He said you have to wear a mask (hes saying this while not wearing one) I said yeah so do you. Spoke on his cellphone in Spanish the entire drive, talking sh*t about me (I understand a little) and customers in general. Just a rude guy. But all times the people (mostly women) I spoke to in the office were nice and helpful. And the prices I was quoted and time frames were accurate. I am not difficult but where I work customer service does matter.

Wow! This place was not only professional but efficient and quick. The tower guy Rizzo was super nice and very helpful. He was fast and communicated status and where abouts. Im directionally horrible and dispatch did a great job in giving me a quote and getting an address for where I was. They made it easy!!! I recommend this company for anyones needs.

Theyre very professional at this lot in West Palm Beach Alex helped me get my belongings from my car and Missy was at the front desk. I was in a car accident and I forgot $230 in cash in my car and it was still there all my belongings were intact I even had a couple rolls of dimes in the door and they left them intact very nice very professional there was no wait when I went and I felt very welcome.

Have no idea how they can drop a vehicle at my facility without authorization.

1. They showed up and left without notifying me so I sat there for 2 hours until I called them.2. They told geico it would be 90 minutes till they arrived but they weren’t coming at all because the work order hadn’t been placed (again not notified until I called)3. The representative on the phone off the bat had a bad attitude and tone when I asked the simple request that next time they call me when they arrive. I am usually very calm and collected even when frustrated this made her sass even more upsetting and absurd. Don’t use them!

Extremely grateful for this company! My husband and I got stuck on the highway out in Indiantown. We waited for AAA for almost 4 hours. After being very frustrated we called around to several (over 7) towing companies and no one had trucks available. We were very defeated. We live closer to the Kauffs on northlake and gave it one last try to see if they would send someone. Richard to the rescue! He was extremely professional, and arrived in 30 minutes. He hooked our vehicle up in minutes and off we went to our mechanic! Don’t call AAA. Call Richard and the great people at Kauffs.

I just had my car towed from my office to my house. I know a little something about cars and I dont like being without my vehicle.I know what is wrong with the car. Told him when he got there that the car would eventually start but would stall out. He was able to get it part way on the ramp and pulled it up the rest of the way and quickly and thoroughly secured it. Eric was very professional, knew exactly what he was doing and delivered the vehicle gently to my house. This is the 2nd time he has come to the rescue! Last month it was my boyfriends car.He is very knowledgeable and will take care of your car.

I had the best experience with Kauffs Towing. Kermie was so quick getting to me and was very professional and kind. It was later in the day and bad weather was coming and he offered to wait with me. Horrible service. They towed my truck last night home and knowing that my power steering is locked and I can not drive the vehicle. I asked them to park the car in the street and they left the truck mostly on my lawn ruining my grass. I called to complain and the disputer just said in the pictures it looks to be on the street I see no problem. So they never sent the driver back out to fix the issue. And now I cant move the truck and it’s impossible for someone to work on it parked the way it is. 0 stars!!!

Our son was in a terrible accident and in a coma. The sheriff told us where his vehicle was towed. It was at Kauffs in Port St. Lucy. The man that worked there started screaming at me and my husband. We are seniors and were only there to view the vehicle. He was screaming and threatening to us. He didnt care about our situation. He threw us out of the office, yelling the entire time.He said we were commiting a felony because we didnt see the signs.We are paying these people. Is this any kind of customer service or even compassion for your fellow man? That man is a threat, and if this is a reflection of Kauffs organization, please stay away.For your own safety....

A dependable company for just a simple tow. They also contract with various local police agencies to pick up wrecks after accidents. If this happens they do not contact the cars owner if someone else was driving. They charge a ridiculous amount for towing and storage, and dont send you a bill until theyve already put a lien on your car. They are also unwilling to work with you on how long they will hold it, even if there is a lawsuit pending. Highly questionable practices to say the least! Guess whose name is getting added to said lawsuit...

Dishonest company, after being quoted 110 on the phone and explaining very well what needed to be done there was some hidden charges one being the use of a skate which allows you to roll the truck onto the bed if the tires not moving, skate was never used but I was still charged for it, which ultimately is what makes me upset. Dishonesty is not the way to run a good business for a couple extra bucks, I recommend you dont use this company.

Im from northern Ohio and needed a large truck inspected in West Palm Beach that I was considering to purchase and didnt want to waste a trip down there if it was a piece of crap. I contacted Kauffs Towing on the recommendation from another firm and Geoff was able to inspect the truck and talked to me while doing so. I was able to negotiate and purchase the truck without seeing it using his expertise as a guideline. Ended up driving it back 1268 miles all the way to northern Ohio with no problems. Awesome customer service from the dispatcher to the driver. Great response time, was told 60 minutes got there in about 40. Erik loaded my car in under 10 minutes and we were off.

I’m glad they’re open late but the guy on the main phone was very rude. He would talk over me, not listen, and didn’t relay and of our conversation/instructions to the driver. Not to mention they completely forgot about my car! I had to call and ask what was going on. Thank goodness I decided to get a ride home.

I was recently in a motorcycle accident and they handled my bike with excellent care even though it was totaled and they stored it in a garage without even being asked . The customer service was excellent and I was greeted with kindness when I came to see the damage done to my bike. IF your a biker and your involved in an accident I would highly recommend Kauffs towing .

I am so dissapointed in my most recent service from Kauffs. I have used them exclusively for the last ten years through my roadside assistance with Geico yet, this will be the last time. After having broken down on the side of the road due to overheating in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler, I managed to get my vehicle to work where it then refused to start again. I called Geico and they arranged my tow for that night. Mind you, it was late..12pm and even though the dispatcher was lovely and helped me right away, the driver was less than pleasent on the phone. We arranged for him to get the keys and deliver the vehicle to the repair shop. The service trouble with my car overheating (a simple sensor) lead to over 4k in damages that were not even related to the original problem but are related to a poor tow.First, the driver left my key in the ignition on acc power and proceeded to lock it, causing the repair shop to not even be able to diagnose the issues until after 1pm the following day. (So much for having it towed late so it would be there first thing in the morning for repairs) Then come to find out that the entire front brake system was locked up causing me to have to repair everything from the caliper, roters, lines and pads. Once this was repaired, before we even left the shop we noticed a loud knocking in the rear end. Upon investigation by the repair facility, we realized that the tire holder for the spare wheel was broken and cracked. (New damage) and finally the rear axel had been worked loose, causing the knocking.Now Im facing this rear axle repair, after an entire front break replacement and a new battary due to the careless treatment of my vehicle and the negligence of Kauffs driver. I know that he dragged my vehicle from behind while in reverse (causing the brake damage) and likely dropped it hard causing the axel damage) not to mention wasting an almost new battary by leaving it on all night. Shame on you!

After wrecking my car on I-95, I left all of my tools, electronics and even a Passport detector in the car(wasnt concerned with worldly possessions at that moment). Window was broken and car was unlocked. Then a couple days later when I went to pay and have them tow it home from their yard 2 things occurred- NOTHING in my car was disturbed! And the cost was surprisingly fair(under $400). I have heard nightmare stories about peoples possessions mysteriously disappearing and these Towing and Storage bills being astronomical. Kauffs is about as professional and reasonable as their services can be... a very pleasant surprise!

I scheduled a second pick up/drop off job four days ahead of time and even took the day off to make payment at drop off. I finally gave up and went with a different tow company after 9 calls and over 5 hours of waiting for pickup or even a return call from Kauffs drivers, dispatchers and then supervisors. It is unprofessional for Kauffs to schedule a pick up and then not show up, not return calls, or not just say we are too busy or unable to do the job today.

Very nice respectful people but I was charged $85 to move my car across the street. I was told the price as he was lifting my car on his truck. Very ridiculous!

KAUFF Towing company tried to tow by vehicle under the direct of corrupt officers with me and my family in it. I have to pay the full $370 to have it released. I spoke the manger to be directed to the policy and they had none, he also said it should have been half the cost. They are illegally following corrupt cops to take residents money. Know your rights!

Thanks to Reggie I was taken care of but the woman by the name tammie and tow truck driver William was given me a hard time plus lied on top telling me the place was closed and there were a hold on the ford crown victory by the police department.and what made it worse the lady was being were rude and said she will hang up n our face.when we called the police department we was to there’s no hold on the vehicle which had me wondering about the funny business going on at this place .once again just watch out and pay close attention to theses places.
