Excellent quality hair cuts and has a relaxed vibe. Mr. Black is friendly and skilled. There is also a nice selection of organic products that they make themselves. Highly recommend!

I went to see Black for a beard clean up and a straight razor shave. He is everything that the reviews claim and more. From the all natural products to the homemade essential oils and the classic barbershop conversation you hope for, Black and the crew at Made Men provide a great experience. Oh yeah, and the shaves were amazing, too! Im so happy that Im bringing Black to provide shape ups and shaves for myself and my groomsmen at my wedding in two weeks. I definitely recommend them!

Wayne took care of me. Cut was custom, class, clean. I wanted to cut my hair shorter than I ever tried knowing hot weather coming. Wayne would pause and check with me and keep going. Very detailed with the razor especially around the side burns. Looks great. Just what I wanted. Will go back.

Ever since I’ve moved to West Orange I had the hard time of finding a decent barbershop. I haven’t had any luck. I always had to go out of town to find a place. Always trying new place with no luck. I honestly disliked getting a haircut cause I knew it would end up bad. But when Made Men opened up and my friend told me about it. I was like why not it’s very close. Let me tell you god has blessed me because this right here is the perfect barbershop. Not only do they provide you with quality cuts but the environment is very chill. Good tunes, regular discussions on music, sports or whatever and overall a great vibe. It’s a very comfortable place to be at. You will no feel any way awkward or left out because everyone there is genuinely friendly. This is what all barbershops should be like. The best part is you could just walk in and would get a great haircut without waiting no more then 30 minutes tops. If not that then as soon as you walk in. Not only that but it’s not even expensive. $15 for a haircut and $20 with a beard. Anywhere else in West Orange or nearby it would be $20-25 just for a haircut alone. And if you want a valid barber. Just ask for Mr. Black. I swear he is the only person I’d trust with my hair. The fades perfect, the shape up is precise. I promise you when you leave out that barbershop you will be leaving with the up most confidence ever feeling like the man. Do yourself a favor and go there for your next haircut or shape up.

5 Stars for the Great haircut and Meticulous barber. 1 Star for the shop. Place is dirty and dumpy. I wish the owners took greater pride in the appearance of the shop. It looks and feels like I’m getting a haircut in a junk yard. Clean the place up guys. I loved the haircut but the place needs love and attention. This is your money maker. Respect it, your customers, your community and yourselves. Take this with the intention with which it’s given: to help and lift up.

This is the best barber shop I’ve been to in my 2 years of living in New Jersey, the atmosphere is nice and chill, it’s a gentlemen’s barber shop, no pants sagging, no illegal activity no problems, Black was the barber who cut my hair and did an amazing job, haven’t had a haircut like this in a Long time.. highly recommend

When my goto barber wasnt available, I was looking for a decent barbershop to quickly get a haircut. When I stumbled upon Made Men, I was quickly taken by my current barber, Fernando, and I left with an impeccable cut that was much better than what my previous barber had done. The attention to detail that Made Men has is also a huge part in coming back because everyone there wants you to leave in the Best way possible. 100% recommend

Let me tell you I’m super hesistant in every trying new places. Stopped by this barbershop on a whim because I’m not from around and needed a haircut badly. Mr. Black did not disappoint. This man from the start treated me with the utmost of respect and kindness and had no problem chatting it up with me. The man is a magician with clippers. I went from looking like a backup to the geico cavemen to pretty damn good (I’m bias I know). Regardless; if you want a friendly, warm and dedicated environment of barbers THIS IS THE SPOT. He took his time and did an incredible job with my lions mane. Will def make sure this is the only man that touches me up from now on.
