Great experience with all coaches and their abilities to make sure you are doing movements correctly and pushing you to do better and more. Even in a large class size, I feel like I am seen and cheered on. A few of the many reasons this is an amazing place!

Dropped in for the week while in town visiting family and super glad I did. I’m in my first month of CrossFit and did not want to miss an entire week so I looked for gyms in the area. I’ve been to a few different CrossFit places in Brevard and this is the only gym I’ve wanted to return to. Nice facility, high quality coaches, no pressure to join, and friendly goers of the gym.

I absolutely love coming to this gym. My family lives in the Melbourne area and I have been to Maverick CrossFit a few times during holidays. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like you’ve been a member for years. The programming along with the in-depth explanations of the workouts creates a very welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. As a CrossFit coach myself, I truly appreciate the attention to detail. Thank you all so much for the hospitality. I highly recommend checking out this gym. You won’t be disappointed.

Pretty huge gym with various facilities for multi discipline physical excercises. From weigths barbells dumbells kettle rowing climbing rope. Location is within reach from all directions. Parking is more than enough. They cater and offer service from kids to teens to adults. Clean and well organized facility. A Maverick for a Crossfit!

His team is also compassionate and knowledgeable and know how to offer a world class fitness experience. I always look forwards to visiting Melbourne just because I get to go to Maverick.

If youre worried about being too out of shape or too old to keep up with something as rigorous as CrossFit, think twice. Maverick is blessed with really good instructors who know how to work with people at every stage. The membership price is pretty low, even without considering all the personal attention, camaraderie, and encouragement you get.Ive been taking CrossFit classes here for a couple months, and my wife has been taking classes here for a year. My wife lost a lot of weight taking these classes, and she enjoys the classes and people. I started doing it because I have an office job, Im 40 and not getting any younger, and if I dont make this part of my routine for the rest of my able life, Im probably going to pay for it in the form of diabetes, heart disease, back injury, or immobility sometime soon after I retire. Its not just about living longer. Its about feeling good about my health now and compressing the amount of time I spend miserable in old age. Sorry to be morbid, but thats what motivates me. Also, the variety of exercise at Maverick from day to day and the atmosphere makes the hard work a lot easier than just going to a gym on my own.One final tip: Put safety first if you give Maverick a try. Dont hurt yourself and dont burn yourself out. Its not a competition. Expect to be a lot worse at it than everyone else there for several months (or longer) if youve never done this before.

We were recently in Florida for vacation and visited Maverick CrossFit to complete one of the Open workouts. We were greeted warmly and there was a great atmosphere. Working out/fitness is not one of my own big priorities but that doesnt matter here. People from all walks of life and different fitness levels are welcome. The coaching is phenomenal! Everyone in the gym will make you feel good!

Jeff and his team were great. We dropped in to his gym while visiting family from WI and were treated like family ourselves. Excellent group of instructors that took the extra time and effort to make us feel at home and a part of the group. I would recommend Jeff and Maverick Cross Fit to anyone local or in the area!

The other day I had my hardest workout of the year. I killed myself and now my muscles are crying. But man, it sure feels amazing. I pushed myself today when normally I would’ve quit. Maverick CrossFit has been amazing at helping me find my limits and pushing me past them. The structured workouts are amazing and the support you get from you peers is so great. Everyone is welcoming and supportive of you no matter what level you are.

This is a great place to workout and learn about healthy living. I just moved to Melbourne 4 months ago and everyone at the Maverick crossfit community made me feel really welcome. The coaches are very friendly, approachable and help you work hard to reach your goals.

Awesome coaches who are very passionate about first teaching the fundamentals and foundations of cross-fit before having you dive in full force. I love that they are very adamant about each athlete learning while training as opposed to most gyms that just have u in there training and not understanding the muscles worked, the dynamics of the motion youre doing as well as the mental outlook needed for each workout. Coming from an athletic and military background I thought the workouts would be a walk in the park...not at all! I was surprisingly pleased and challenged with the intensity, fun and passion of my coaches and fellow cross-fitters. I am forever a maverick!!

Love this gym! Great coaching, varied workouts, and great people! As someone who isn’t athletic, I love how the focus is on safely learning how to exercise. Everything is customizable- there are super strong athletes to people who come to socialize while getting fitter. I am so glad I found Mavericks- and after checking a few places out- I know this crossfit gym is the best around!

Great place to get strong and fast. Coaching staff works closely with each athlete, and they really value form and mechanics, taking their time to explain the various lifts, and analyze the intensity and goals of each programmed workout. They put a lot of thought into their programming, and it is very effective. The atmosphere is also very friendly and the gym is super clean and spacious. I have visited several other crossfit gyms around the area, and Maverick has been my favorite.

Ive been doing crossfit for about 6 years and throughout those 6 years, Ive been a member at different gyms and have dropped in at several gyms in my traveling with work or relocating. And I must say, Maverick Crossfit is by far the best gym Ive trained in. Their facility is massive with plenty of room without feeling like youre gonna be in the way of another athlete, they also have the best equipment and enough space on the rigs, you dont have to wait for someone else to finish to continue your workout. They provide a variety of programs for all levels of training and they treat every person the same which you dont always get at other gyms. Jeff the owner and the rest of the coaching staff are compassionate about what they do and it shows. They are so knowledgeable and will continue to work with you until you feel comfortable about what you are doing. Now that Ive relocated to Northern Virginia, it makes me appreciate what I had a Maverick Crossfit. I recommend anyone dropping in, looking for a new gym or anyone looking to get in better shape, give them a try. You will not be disappointed!
