Only been a member for a couple of weeks however, very satisfied. Plenty of free weights, dumbbells, and equipment. Staff are always courteous and professional.

Great place to work out, has all kinds of machines, a pool along with hot tub, sauna and racquet ball courts. There is a place for children to hang out so the parents can work out. Personal trainers are available they cost about 300 a month for 4 sessions of 30 minutes each. They are constantly cleaning and offer bottles of disinfectant to take with for wiping down the machines. Men and womans individual locker rooms with showers.

The GM is a excellent salesman, not to pushy while still giving u enough motivation to make u feel comfortable

Great team great atmosphere. I go 4 days a week only thing is on Tuesday morning people drop there things infront of machines an use other ones around an is hard to workout cause they wont move there things. But besides that I love it

Each time I go I always see someone cleaning machines or sanitizing the areas. Someone is cleaning and sanitizing the lockers and the racket ball courts routinely.

Ive been going to LA Fitness for quite sometime and, although the Gym has quite a bit of equipment and is generally clean, they have slacked off a lot regarding maintenance and service. Often times, when I arrive and while working out, I notice no one is at the front desk. Also, some of the equipment have had cracked/torn up padding for months now. There is also equipment that is down for weeks on end with paper taped to them saying Scheduled for Service. At one time, 3 different Leg Press machines were down for Service simultaneously. Also, quite often I notice theres no paper towels in the dispensers. Finally, they really should have a no phone visible Policy because there are numerous times where you wait for a piece of equipment because someone is on their phone texting a novel or gabbing up a storm - these people arent really there for the workout but to boast to some unknown that they work out. For all of these reasons, the highest rating I could give the gym is 3-Stars and that is being generous.

I love this place. I joined after stayfit mysteriously closed without notice. Im glad I did. I got a great monthly rate for so many amenities. After my workout, I jump in the hot tub or pool. I can also use the sauna. (Love the hut tub btw, makes me feel Roman). Spin classes, racket ball, yoga, b-ball court, and personal training options. I love it.

They supply you with your own disinfecting spray. I like to have control of that. Not everyone uses them.

Dont keep to what is said until after you sign contract but find loop holes in contract when you didnt read it fully so it ultimately your fault.

On the positive side, I liked the variety of equipment at this location on Hollywood Blvd in West Melbourne. Even when it was super crowded, I could always move through my workout in a timely manner if I was flexible. The vast majority of the patrons were nice as well. However, I had some incredibly negative experiences here. With very few exceptions, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Frankly, I cant see how this company stays in business. The attitudes of its employees are that poor. They seem to look down on you unless you are one of the beautiful people. Before joining, a friend warned me that this gym was cliquey. He didnt add details, but I soon understood what he meant. The staff members are more interested in socializing with themselves and their friends, in addition to hitting on girls, than in serving the clubs patrons. If I were running this company, Id fire the entire crew and start all over from scratch with a healthy dose of training in professional behavior. There is also a core of steroid-using patrons who make the gym miserable for others. Id boot these butt-heads from the gym in an instant if I were in charge. I was bullied and pushed off equipment on several occasions, once in front of a trainer who just watched and laughed. Some of these guys load up equipment with a ton of weights, then simply walk away when they are finished. Nobody on the staff disciplines them. There is steroid use here, and sadly some users are in law enforcement. There were at one point needles in the locker room. The gym cleaned that up, and then the juicers started tossing the needles in the grass near the parking lot. They have addressed this, happily. I was really disappointed in what I encountered. I hope they can change under Esporta.

Good, spread out equipment. Well maintained. Caught an employee telling a person they were too loud deadlifting which is absurd. It isnt planet fitness with a lunk alarm. He was lifting heavy so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Form was off a bit, probably couldve been less noisy and avoided a scolding if he had proper technique.

If you are looking for a gym that is well maintained this is NOT it. Padding on equipment is worn & cracked, bathrooms are not well maintained, paper towel holders empty a lot of times. If youre looking for a gym with helpful, friendly & energetic staff this gym definitely is NOT it. Staff would sooner stand or sit around socializing amongst themselves or on their cellphones rather than interact or assist members. Im disgusted by the lack of quality & skills of management staff, especially Sarah. Sarah claims to be a manager, but she doesnt know the first thing about customer service or management. Whoever placed Sarah in a management role obviously needs some management & leadership training themselves.Now, if youre looking for a gym with a good amount of cardio equipment then this is your place. Plenty of treadmills, elliptical machines, stair climbers, etc. And they offer an ample selection of fitness activities - Zumba, spinning, racquetball, basketball, etc.

Gym is mediocre at best. Child care is awful. Don’t expect them to keep an eye on things in the child care room. Had diaper bag go missing with wallet inside as well as medicine for my kids. All they could say is they didn’t know. Weren’t willing to help to find out what happened to it. You would also figure there would be cameras to protect the kids and there isn’t. Only camera they have is at the front door.

Love the place. I have been a member here for about 6 months now. Very friendly staff, good trainers.What I love the most about this LA Fitness is the racquetball game. They have such a good crowd, most are very welcoming and experienced gentlemen. I would love to visit every single day to play racquetball.Another notable point is the cleanliness that is maintained by the hard-working staff.

Lost my job due to COVID-19. Went and canceled my gym membership but was told the only way to get out of my fitness training was to buy out at 700 dollars or to lose a limb.

Due to the covid-19, the swimming only open for 30min/person. Make an appointment is important.

Visited friends and we went to this gym. Great place to lift but I must say I felt dirty when I left. I am from Michigan and all the gyms I attended over the years had spray disinfectant to use to wipe off the equipment. This place was disgusting for that reason. Hand sanitizer is not a way to clean your equipment. Amazing the germs from sweat !!! A strong warning I am giving you.

Joined with my new insurance front desk very friendly club is very clean I went today to workout with Michael F great experience then met with Mack and signed for some Personal training they were no pressure and listened. Almost always crowded and have to wait for the equipment, I’m almost embarrassed to use it. The guy who helped me almost set up an account did not tell me about the additional annual fee when I first inquired, when I was almost about to pay for my new membership he told me that there was an additional charge he didn’t mention earlier so I opted out. Staff is incredibly rude!! Always guys around flirting with the female staff or hanging around the desk. Employees never ask if you need assistance and seem to have very little knowledge. Just all around very poor customer service. The janitor there currently is very weird and always lurking around the locker rooms like she is going to steal. Hand sanitizer is used to clean equipment instead of a soap solution. It’s just a cesspool of germs in that place. The locker rooms also say no taking pictures but people do it anyway. Absolutely no privacy. Not worth the money especially since they aren’t even open 24 hours! Get a membership somewhere more worth your time and money!

I stopped by to get some info about child carr while I work out and no one greeted us, asked if we needed help, or even looked up when we walked out the door.The place was packed and full of beautiful people....not the place for me, at all.Ill find a dungeon somewhere.

Great facility well maintained equipment. I prefer this location more than the one on 192. Staff isn’t as friendly as 192 staff though. You walk into the gym with blank stares from whoever is at the front desk @ this location. I went to 192 several times and each time I’m greeted on the way in and out. Not here though. Doesn’t takeaway from the overall quality/experience though.

Cant really speak about membership pricing because Im only visiting for a couple days. The staff are very nice and gave me a week guest pass. The club is very clean and has all the equipment youd need. There are plenty of free weights and plates. There is a pool, 3 racquet ball courts, cycle room, general group fitness room and a basketball court. The mens locker room was very clean compared to some of the other clubs Ive been in.

So, unfortunately I have edit my previous review, Ive been a member for over a year now, the staff are lax and dont really mess with you too much which I appreciate however the facilities are sub standard, often I find no soap or paper towels in the dispensers, when stuff breaks it takes a painful amount of time to repair and the building has plumbing issues, if youre ever there on a weekend morning you will notice the doors will be open, airing out the building because it smells like a septic tank...Im not talking about body odor or sweat, the place literally smells of human waste. LA Fitness is supposed to be a premium brand, thats what you pay for...I wish that their corporate office would get involved and address these issues.

My husband is pretty fit, he brought two of his friends to your gym and yes was helping them out a bit, these guys assumed he was training them and banned him from the gym. So let me get this straight, he brought you two customers, and you banned him for helping his friends. Now even if he was training them(which he wasnt) he brought you two new customers. You really are a brilliant lot over there.

Just recently got a membership here! Im really satisfied with LA Fitness so far! Theres equipment for all of my needs. Also, the staff is super friendly. The vibes here are great and not intimidating, especially for people like me who arent at their tip top shape.Since I work out 6 days a week, I have found that I only pay about 90 cents a day for this membership. Its truly a good deal.

Nice people. Very clean. Machines in good repair. The only negative is that there are no ceiling fans to circulate air so the second floor is always hot except for a few cool spots

My husband has been a member for years through a program with our medical insurance. He has switched providers and the membership has ended. When trying to get membership through LA Fitness directly they want to charge 175.00 fee to ‘join’. LA fitness apparently does not value their members enough to want to keep them on by waiving this fee. Thankfully there are plenty of choices around.

No help. They just take you on a quick tour, show you a few things, and rush you through like cattle. We even had an appointment. They want everyone to hire a personal trainer. They could care less.

Best Fitness Gym in the World

So I had an issue with my Health First insurance with the Active and Fit program. (With HF insurance you get free Health membership at certain places.) I went in once and no one could help me. I then called HF customer care- they called LA and were told the same thing that they told me- there was an error on the screen. So I called Active and Fit-they told them to have me come in and get a temp pass until the issue cleared. I went in on 8/15/17 and spoke to Brandon. What a nice gentleman you have working for your place of business. He explained thoroughly what happened with the HF and the Active & Fit program for my account and said he would give me a pass to cover me until the end of August and as of Sept 1, 2017 my free membership through HF should work. He was very patient and I was grateful for the help and great customer service he gave. Thank you Brandon!!!

Pool is nasty but the other equipment is decent. Not the friendliest staff and there seems to be a high turn over which is never a good sign. The aqua fit people complain on a regular basis about how dirty the pool is and with an extremely high chlorine content.

Been here a few months, gym is nice but too crowded. I regret signing up gotta to come at 4am to avoid waiting on equip.

Its a great gym. Has so many amenities for a good price. But I gets kinda frustrating when all the machines are taken.

Vanessa the instructor is amazing the Body works plus abs and the boot camp class is super cool and she always change the class. So your body doesnt get us to it.

I dont like the charge of extra 99$ plus 240 /month for a trainer.they pressure to get a trainer. I think they should give me chance to utilize the faculty first, before they pressure for a trainer.When Im on a treadmill I dont want someone spraying cleaning so I can breath it in. Water fountain has good water. I do want a personal trainer to come to my house if any one is interested and charge less money to.

I went there to join, since my insurance allows me to do this. A person that was assigned to me, took me in a ring and had me do workouts to see what my stamina was. He never showed me how to use any of the equipment in the building. Also encouraged me to have a trainer, which cost a fair amount of money per month. Being on a fixed income, that was impossible to do. I was never shown how to use the equipment and when I asked someone at the front desk if someone could show me how to use the equipment, the girl said we dont usually give free giveaways. And I said but the guy that showed me around did not show me how to use the equipment. They said they would call me and never did.

They dont offer kettle bell weights, TRX, or ropes to members. They only offer it to the members who purchase trainers. The water in the water fountains taste horrible, like mold. They also dont have sanitizing solution in spray bottles for cleaning the equipment, instead its on the wall like a hand sanitizer pump. I figured this place would be top-notch with the amount of money they get from membership fees, however they are lacking in some areas.

The actual gym aka basketball court is extremely small. The workout experience is like in a warehouse. The space is just cramped with too much activity for most people to comfortably workout. I would find a different gym.

Great gym experience, I love coming back here they have all I need and more. Very spacious, lot more room means more classes and activities. Rates are not bad at all and the location is perfect, easy to get to. Highly recommend, very clean and friendly staff for sure.

I have a training contract and a membership contract, and they are connected to separate accounts because my boyfriend pays for our membership, but they are both under my name. LA Fitness charged my training account to his card, even though both of these accounts are not associated with the same card number. I tried to reach out to membership services, but the people in the gym cannot do anything about contracts, charges, etc., and the membership people you can contact online seem to be clueless, they just told me that I dont owe anything on my accounts- yes, I know because you charged my accounts without consent. They also have made multiple charges on my account at one time, charging 480$ in one day for two months of training, when it should only be 240$ per month. Their training is already ridiculously expensive and you can definitely get personal training cheaper elsewhere, but to charge me twice at once is ridiculous. Ive ready online reviews that few people can alter charges, payments, contracts, etc so I am going through such a hard time trying to get the charges corrected.

This place is so fun to work out at. My girlfriend and I go almost every day. The staff is amazing and very encouraging definitely better than any gym I have worked out at definitely worth every penny.

Place is a scam

Plenty of equipment and its all in decent shape, for the most part. However, the gym etiquette of the patrons is the worst. Is that hard to rack your damn weights?! I watched a guy load up a leg press machine with as many 45 lbs plates as it could hold and then leave without putting a single plate back.

Canceling todayHigh pressure for first day sales, I was fine with that since I saved a little money signing on the first day. Had a great evaluation in which i was shown many good excercises that ended in a sales pitch for very expensive personal training program. I was fine with that, the problem was unlike every gym i went to before i was not allowed into the area with the equipment I was shown how to use. On top of that I received no instructions on any of the equipment I was allowed to use. The equipment they showed me was reserved for private trainers. I am going somewhere I get to use all the facility.

Overall a pretty good gym. there are a few things that could make this gym a great gym: Wifi and a real Hack Squat Machine. Other than those 2 issues I have enjoyed using this facility.
