DO NOT take your dog to get groomed at petsmart they are horrible. They are way too overpriced, I paid $77 for some amateurs to groom my dog. I paid $20 dollars extra for “premium shampoo, deep coat conditioner, teeth brushing with breath freshener, scented cologne spritz & a bow or bandana” he didn’t smell any better or feel softer I doubt they sprayed the cologne because he didn’t even have bandana on.

I took my Great pyrenees to get the furminator treatment. When I picked her up I was so surprised how beautiful my baby was. They did a fantastic job and would recommend them to anyone with a dog.

We have been taking our dog here for a long time and absolutely love the quality of service as well as the loving staff. Unfortunately something has changed with the staff over the last couple months and while the grooming service is still excellent the customer service has soured our experience and we will be finding a new groomer.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We talked to the fish lady for quite awhile. Short wait at checkout and I love that they have email receipts - never loose or have to hold on to a receipt anymore. We used a 25% off coupon for dog food and that saved quite a bit off a large bag. They also had cool National Park outfits, including Zion.

Great place to go for all your animal needs. They also have a hospital and pet hotel on site.

The groomers here are so great. I had a disaster experience at another groomer and had to bring my dog in. They were very sympathetic to the plight of my 13 year old yorkie poo. They allowed to bring him in first thing in the morning since he didn’t need a bath. They got him in and out within an hour and half. They were so kind to squeeze me in. The ladies were just so sweet. They loved my dog and did a great job cutting him. I couldn’t be happier. I feel comfortable and safe leaving my little old man in their hands. HIGHLY recommend!!

Absolutely the worst pet smart on the planet! The employees are always very nice and helpful when you can find them. However you can’t ever find what you need because they are ALWAYS OUT EVERYTHING! I was understanding with the pandemic and all but every location besides them are always fully stocked and have me essential items. 9/10 times they will not have what you need.

This place never has crickets or reptile food in stock. The chameleon there had its ribs showing. It looks starved & the environment in the cage was dry- not humid. They need to learn to order food according to their demand. The employees need better education. I felt embarrassed while she was trying to explain crickets to me. She had no idea what she was saying. Lack of education doesn’t benefit the customers or the animals.

This is a great place. I have purchased fish from here and every time I came back, they were always super respectful and professional. I am going to end up adopting a cat In about 2 months, and I am super excited. I cant wait to so business with PetSmart again. I know that I will continue to have great customer service in the future.

I had THE best experience here. I wanted to adopt a kitty and there was a little confusion on the situation of the cats availability. We spoke with Marc and he was absolutely so great! He helped us with the whole process, was responsive to everything and made our situation so great. He even made sure we hade the right food to transition the cat to our home. It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had at Petsmart!

We love PetSmart and have 2 dogs at home, so were so glad they put one in West Jordan. They have great sales on all items from food to costumes, to toys and treats. Staff if usually very knowledgeable and helpful!

Took our puppy to the PetsHotel over a weekend, and he had such a great time! It was our first time leaving him, and I was so nervous but they took great care of him. They sent us pictures and gave us a progress report when he came home detailing how he did with everything from eating to playing to going potty. Emily really took great care of him, I was so grateful. We will be taking him back for sure!

Looked all over Park City & Heber for a plastic pee pad frame. Finally decided it would be quicker just to drive back to slc to get it.

One of the employees (a kid with like, curly black hair I think?) was EXTREMELY rude to me and several other customers, and pretty much terrified me into buying something I didnt need (crippling anxiety lol) and I didnt get what I actually needed for my delicate reptile- Im going to have to drive further to Marks Ark or Scales N Tails because this location failed me. Idk why this kid is even employed. A cashier with red hair was super nice and cool though. And patient

Came in with a photocopy of my cats prescription from my vet to get Hills Science Diet i/d and they flat out refused because I didnt have the card in person. I showed them that it was sent and signed by my vet and they said no because they just sell fish. Looks like Ill be buying the food from my vet from now on.

Generally love this store, but could not find a hole type collar for my new German shepherd puppy, not that break away junk and line to check out was over 12 people long. I put cat food down and left.

Morgan did a great job with my Tilly. It was her first grooming and she was treated so good. She smells great and was more calm when I picked her up than she was when I dropped her off. I will be coming back. Thank you!

Excellent customer service and amazing happy employees. Ive only been to this location once and it was for a buy online and pick up in-store. It was an amazing experience. And I was helped right away. I was in and out of the store within ten minutes. I will definitely make this store my second go-to. All around amazing and clean store.

I went in to buy my cat a harness and leash. PetSmart had a very small selection for cats ☹️; however, I found the most adorable harness in the puppy section. I then went on google to see if I could find a better price. I honestly dont know of any local stores that dont price match their direct competition like “Petco for example.” I like supporting local stores instead of going online, and Ive never known a store to not price match a legitimate claim. So, I ended up finding the same leash on Petco’s website for $13.00 dollars cheaper😊👍. It was the same model, brand, colour, and serial number. “A perfect match”; However, this PetSmart claimed they dont price match unless its off of their own website☹️👎. They have officially lost my business. And I advise you to take your business elsewhere as well. For three major reasons1) slim, picked over selections for cats2)clearly overpriced. based on how much cheaper the product was at other competitors websites3) horrible customer service, and not willing to do legitimate price matching.Its not only financially worth it to drive down the street to a competitor, and Im sure youll be happier with the service as well.

Yesterday I went in to look for something that I can get my dog. I wanted something he could do that would entertain him while I am gone. I found these really neat learning chew toys. For 2 hours I went through the variety of chew toys. My son wanted to come buy a couple of them to. He didnt get there by the time I had to leave, so I asked if I could leave a couple items with the cashier. And this girl was so rude about it. I had about 5 items that werent very big. They were no bigger then the size of my hand. She told me that she cant promise they will be there for very long. And she will put them back if it takes up to much room under her register. I do understand that it gets frustrating having all those go backs under your register. I dont think you make it obvious to the customer, how annoyed you are about it. My son got there 8 mins later, and she had already put the stuff back. I just hope she wasnt like this with other customers. Hopefully I was the only annoying one.

Over the years I have used their extra services: pet training, pet grooming, and Banfield Vet Services (which are all great!)Great selection of foods, toys, beds, crates, scratch posts, brushes, and even pets!

I am in here so much I feel like I should just pitch a tent in the back. The store is always clean and they are usually well stocked.

What a nightmare. Thought we were gonna have to complete a background check to buy a fish. Specifically told by employees that they would NOT sale the fish bowl we wanted to buy with ANY of their fish, because they CARE. Their fish live in Plastic cups by the cold door! What store determines for you which items you buy together??For anyone else wanting to show their child a little wonder in life, 1 Beta fish ended up costing $75! After this experience I will never purchase from or recommend this store to ANYONE 👎🏻

This used to be the best Petsmart. Now they can’t price match the website or give any info on when items will be in stock. Frustrating service to say the least.

The first time I came in few months ago and brought him in immediately because he scream every time he had a bite of foods or any movement in his jaw and then he start to push out 3rd eye lid out of his left eyes and they said I’ll need to schedule an appointment for them to take a look at him and I pointed at their sign on wall said they emergency pet will be admitted immediately and the vet staff looked at the sign and said oh so they took him in and found he had a eye infection and something poke in his gum and was treated and recovered.Few months later I called bansfield in morning after my dog seems unable to eat and laying with very little of moving I knew something was wrong with his heart and I called to let them know that I’m bringing him in emergency and they told me that their appointments are full and will need to wait 2 or 3 days to schedule (I had his wellness plan monthly under that bansfield. Their sign in front of office said any emergency pet will admitted immediately. I was so furious so I called other 2 bansfield and they said the same thing. I called West Jordan VCA jordan river pet hospital and they said they have one appointment available as soon as they checked and they noticed there were enlarge in his pancreas although it show the heart rate went up 220 per beat because of pancreas and told me to go to other pet hospital but made me wait to pay them but my dog is dying so I walked out without paying them and drove to blue pearl and they immediately wait for me in front of the door to take my dog in immediately and treat him then few hours he died due to complications and prolonged to be treated. I am very angry with bansfield for their lack of service even we pay monthly for vet care. Few weeks later I got a sympathy card from them for the passing of my damn dog 🐕, but how the hell did they know my dog died I never notified them. You sucks.

We adopted a cat from here. The woman that helped us was great, she let us meet each of the cats and hold them and was very patient with us. She seemed knowledgeable about each of the cats and you could tell that theyre well taken care of while theyre there. The cats were friendly, not all shell shocked like the ones at the shelter

Despite being crazy busy, an employee went out of his way to educate and guide me through all things fish for my little kids to successfully care for one.

There was No Kitties or Dogs which made us Sad But then Realized that meant they All had a Forever Home which made us HAPPY ❣️

Two people working in the entire store, line for the 1 REGISTER went all the way past the midpoint of the store. Couldnt find an associate to help me find something, the lady at the Banfield area was rude and refused to help even though I was looking for one of THEIR PRODUCTS. I had to call while standing in the store to get someone to answer to direct me where to go. She told me they dont keep the boxes out and I have to get one of the cards and theyll pull it at the register. Didnt have another 30 min to stand in line. Never going back.

I get my dogs nails trimmed here and they are absolutely amazing. We always go with one employee named Emma and she is nothing but kind and good with my Delilah. She is a 75 lb German Shepherd but doesnt realize that shes 75 lb and shes a big scaredy-cat. But they are so patient and they are slow with her which really means a lot to us. I would definitely recommend this place

Wish they would bring in more dogs for adoption not just cats

We shopped around for boarding options. The facility at Petsmart is very good, but it is the staff that made the difference. They are friendly and really took care of our dog. They clearly love animals. The attitude and treatment by the staff is what made our decision to use Petsmart.

We left our kitty here over a long weekend at the Petshotel and the kitty cottage was just a cage with a litter box, food and a bed shoved in it. It smelled awful with about 25 cats caged in one room and they only play with the cats for 2 ten minute breaks a day. For our kitten who is very active it would have cost another arm and leg for extra breaks. The breaks are also in the same room with one scratching cardboard and not a lot of space for playing. They did provide food and litter in the cost but it was overall way too expensive. For three days we ended up spending just over $70 to keep our cat in a cage with no way of knowing if he actually got played with. This was in addition to the free night coupon we had for it being his first time. In addition to that, they charge extra fees for everything including check out any time after noon. They allow you to call and see how your pet is doing, when I called I got a very generic response with no hesitation to look up my pet or actually check on him. We will definitely not be leaving him here again.

Beware of pet adoption events if Celestial Zoo is involved. A kitten was adopted and was to be delivered on Christmas Eve. The foster lady came, found an excuse to not leave it and I got a text after midnight from the director of Celestial Zoo that it wasnt a good fit. I suspect the foster lady didnt want to give up the kitten.I wouldnt have anything to do with adopting through Petsmart if Celestial Zoo is involved. Apparently adopting through them doesnt guarantee anything. I recommend Petsmart disassociate itself from Celestial Zoo.

I like to go in and look at the animals. The hamsters are the cutest

I was here yesterday and the smell of the store is horrible. I was looking at their hamsters and one of them was dead. Poor guy.

UPDATE: 8/10/2020 The front desk staff at the PetSmart hotel is just so wonderful and sweet! Since the day I dropped of my Rex from the day I picked him up, Katie and everyone else that helped me we’re just so amazing. I didn’t receive a picture of Rex while I was out of town, but I was ok with that because I was already having a hard time leaving him for almost a week and that picture would have made me sad. All in all, this PetSmart location was great and took care of my Rex well. Every time I would call in to check in on Rex, Katie would answer and she would fill me in on everything from his medication, meals, potty time, one on one play time, Kong snacks to his sleep times. Anyway, thank you everyone at PetSmart hotel; I really appreciate you so much for taking care of my big boy and being so sweet and gentle with him. You guys have a special place in my heart :)I called regarding this location’s PetSmart hotel and spoke to Cassandra. She was so sweet, well spoken and genuinely wanted to help me in answering all of my questions on boarding my babies. She provided great customer service and because of her I will be boarding my doggies at this location. Thank you!

Casheir wouldnt honor the sales price found online. Said it wasnt on sale. Then was told id have to get back in line (that included 8 customers now) to get a refund in order to make the purchase over again to include the sale price. Not customer service friendly. Atlest not last night!

Petsmart at Jordan Landing is out of a lot of items. In the past I have used there grooming here and didnt really like it but still used it because I didnt know where else to go. We did end up finding a different groomer because of the fact our dog would act weird every time we would go and get him.

I went to the Banfield Pet Hospital. I love how they treat everyone, and the vet is awesome. They keep the big picture in mind, and I appreciate their caring and expertise.

Petsmart is the place to go if you are looking for certain animal supplies and is usually very clean. The shelves seem to be stocked for the majority of the time and has medicine, animal food, supplements, treats and so on. I am only giving it four stars because for this last year they have had little to no crickets for my lizards. For something they sell a lot of I feel like they would find better ways to get and keep crickets but overall its a good store.

I have two dogs a basset hound and a dachshund we were looking for a door is a little expensive we didnt buy there we went to Home Depot and got it its almost $200 less so but I like the store the people are friendly and my dogs love going inside

The groomers is really hit and miss. They have a high turn over and most of of the time arent very friendly. But my poor dog gets a new haircut every time we bring him in. Its just not worth the 70 bucks to get back a chopped up looking yorkie. Its very uncomfortable there.

I go here for all my fish stuff. I wish they would stop selling the 1 gallon betta tanks but other than that I like it.

I took my dog to the groomer today to her get fur and cleaned up and I drop her off like normal everything normal until I get a call later today saying my dog had been cut and to pick her up right away them telling me it was a small cut witch it wasn’t. It looks like they scraped off a big piece of her skin. I am very upset with the service I trusted them with our family member and it’s upsetting knowing that this happened I will not be taking her here anymore.

Took The Dog for a checkup they were nice i walked around the store saw the cute doggies

Waited in line for 20 minutes while one cashier worked a line stretching back to the middle of the store. Finally a second employee opened a register and helped the guest in front of me. After finishing with that one guest I stepped up to make my purchase and the employee said sorry this other customer has been waiting a long time for help and walked away.

They have great staff and very helping great experience other than that here’s the real review so me and my spouse recently bought a hairless baby guinea pig and she is very small then usual cause just recently last week we had a friend bought a baby guinea pig and she is a lot bigger then the one we just got so and she is not eating her food unless we give it out of our hands but she is still nursing on our hands and mouths if she’s any where closer to our face but want I think is that they didn’t know her age well enough to sell her so I think what that should improve on is knowing the age of their animals and making sure their eating and also both of ours guinea pigs have colds once they left the establishment

This place has everything a petsmart has to offer. The employees here are well versed in dog and puppy care. The hospital is also inside, and theyre available for any questions you can have.

There wasnt that much of a variety for diets that need to be under a crude fat maximum of 10%Talking with an associate, I was informed that if my dog doesnt like the food, I could bring it back for a refund. This was reassuring.

We have been coming to allow my daughter who is recovering from a German Shepard attack to have some simple exposure therapy. Its helped her go from total melt down at the sight of a pet to being okay being near one to petting select animals she feels safe with. Its been a long few months. The staff has been very understanding and gracious.
