Horrible service! I asked for assistance in getting an item from the top shelf, and waited 35 minutes for somebody to show up. Nobody came so I went to the garden center and asked the cashier to please get someone to help me. I went back to the isle and waited another 10 minutes with no luck! I left without getting anything. l went to the West Valley store and bought what I wanted there.
Like almost every business these days, they are understaffed and undertrained. Check that the items you want are in stock by using their app before going to the store. I dont know how many times I have gone to the store for something you would expect a hardware store to have and it not be in stock. All of this was true before 2020, and is especially true since 2020.I went to the store to buy blinds yesterday. It took 35 minutes for someone to finally respond when I hit the button for service at the blinds cutting station. Then the person who was supposedly trained to operate the station didnt really know how to operate it, despite the station having very clear 7 step directions for operation posted. It took nearly an hour to get 2 sets of blinds cut. The employee cutting the blinds didnt know what 37.5 meant when I handed them written directions. I understand that maybe not everyone in the world would understand that, but an employee at a home improvement store tasked with operating cutting machinery should. The self check out stations wont give you a veteran discount anymore, so you have to go to a person to show them your ID. But very seldom is there ever a real person check out open. So I end up using the self checkout and getting an associate to enter a code, or end up having to call someone over for a human staffed cash register; it seems to depend on the Lowes which option they prefer. The customer experience was bad before 2020, but it has gone from bad to awful since 2020.
I made an online order for some bathroom pieces. I was coming from out of town and didnt want to make five trips. The customer service department was willing to coordinate with me for a singular pick up day of all the items even though they were scheduled to be available on different days. I appreciated their willingness consideration in arranging that convenience for me. Once I arrived on site, after my hour-long drive, the associates at the online pick up station were very helpful and demonstrated great customer service.
I love Lowes, it has a much better selection of tools that Home depot and the layout is more intuitive too.
Dont know how this store survives. Wednesday at 9 am the garden center entrance/checkout was closed. No cashiers in main area except for 1 employee in self-checkout. Came back at noon and absolutely nothing changed. Walked out and went to a nearby lowes 6 miles away for much better service and a greater inventory/choice.
The staff have always been very friendly and helpful, but the layout of the store isn’t my favorite. I love the big garden section, but the way it extends into the parking lot (at least in the springtime) makes navigating the lot or getting to the store more difficult than it might need to be. I also had an unfortunate experience of wandering around the store looking for a specific tool for a good twenty minutes( even with employee guidance) because they were in the middle of a seasonal update and everything had been moved around. Still, I like Lowe’s as a home improvement store, and have had some really great experiences interacting with the staff at this particular location.
I normally like Home Depot better because I feel their prices are better, but I was really disappointed in their selection of bathroom vanities. Lowes was way better!
It was great going to the garden shop and finding healthy plants! And... good deals on stuff that wasnt even on sale. Zach and his team do an awesome job and represent Lowes well. I had my dogs with me and they were treated like royalty. It was a great visit.
Took a few minutes to find what I was looking for but had a great amount of staff trained and trying to help but Im a pro thanks for the help guys but I know your store easy in easy out and back to the job but yall were very helpful
If you are coming into the store to buy something it’s fine, if you go to the garden section you’ll see some nice workers. If you do any online orders you will be lied to, uninformed on any portion of your order, put on hold, hung up on, danced around, given almost no Information and told they’ll update you, hint: they won’t. Rinse and repeat. We’ve been waiting on a door we were told would be ready in April, it’s July, almost August. No sign of the door. Im extremely frustrated with this place.EDIT: Finally got our Door, Sara from Customer Service was AMAZING, and probably the only reason my door ever came. Thanks Sara, you rock, Ill add another star but only for Sara.
Do NOT have appliances delivered from this Lowes. They use JB Hunt. If you have a claim, prepare yourself. JB Hunt scratched my walls, floorboards and hard wood floors. Their claim process is impossible. Get ready to talk to 6+ people. major run around.
Just another home improvement store. Normally will have everything I need.
We go to Lowes all the time and they usually have what we need. Unfortunately on this trip they were out of the particular sprinklers we needed. It may be due to it being the end of the summer season, but we have go to another store to find what we need.
Really helpful this time (sometimes I go and no one cares to help, like Im just an annoying pest). Jim in doors was really awesome though. Above and beyond helpful. It was a refreshing change. And the lady who checked us out was great, and they have next day delivery options which was a life saver. Good job Lowes!
The customer service at this store is horrible. I have been to this store twice in the past week and the management was terrible. I needed to put in a delivery order and couldn’t even get an employee to help me. Then today when I went they shut down the only check out lane because some guys gift card wasn’t working so the only option was self check out. The manager who was helping the one guy wouldn’t deal with anything else despite other customers needing help. I then had to wait for an extended period of time for an employee to help me switch out a propane tank. The guy never showed up and I had to search out another employee for help. I don’t know what’s up with the West Jordan store but they really need better management.
After finally finding someone who could get on the intercom to find me someone that could cut some wire for me an employee came up to me thinking that he was the one to cut some wire for me but totally ignored me then a fork lift then comes around the corner and he points up at the top shelf and then tells the other guy that this needs to get out down here ( right where I was standing) and continues on ignoring me. Its almost like they heard the request and desided that they would rather do that then help a paying customer. So I went to Home Depot where I easily found someone who was more than happy to assist me in getting the wire I needed to the lengths that I needed
So, I bought a couple house plants. The house plants were healthy and affordable. I also bought a couple plant pots and those were also a good price. However, I am now worried the plants were TO HEALTHY. I fear they have gained sentience and are plotting against me. If I focus hard enough I can hear their plots..... fear them.
The guy that helped us at the store was awesome and quick and professional however when we got home we realized he didn’t give us our military discount. But oh well. We bought a stand up freezer. However, I’m shocked at how rude and unprofessional your delivery guys were. I don’t typically leave many reviews but I’m pretty mad about my husband and I being disrespected. They didn’t even plug the freezer in and make sure it worked before the driver barked at my husband for a pen for him to sign his paper stating everything worked... a professional would bring their own pen and if they didn’t have one would ask nicely if their customer had one. When he rang the doorbell I opened the door and he very rudely said, “I have a freezer” and immediately walked away. No “hi” or anything. After we signed the paper he turned around and walked away. No “bye” or anything. When I go to a business and spend over $1k in 10 minutes, I expect to be treated with kindness especially when your employee is coming to my home. I don’t think I will be returning to Lowe’s ever again after this experience. We will take our money elsewhere.
My wife and I are new homeowners who dont really know how to care for a yard/garden properly. Kevin was especially helpful and knowledgeable. He took us through parts of the store and told us about a few different tips and tricks to make our yard the best on the block.
Lowes has all of your household needs - indoor and outdoor. The store is well organized so its easy to find what you are looking for. The workers are all friendly and willing to help if you have questions or concerns. This location is conveniently located and is easy to get in and out of the parking lot.
Been shopping this store at Jordan Landing for years. All summer long I’ve been working on the sprinkler system. I’m afraid all summer long I’ve had to go to the competition to get what I need. Most of the summer you can lay down on the shelves and not touch any product at Lowe’s on either side of you. Well I’m finally over it, the competition at 90th and redwood has won my business for every home improvement supply I need from today forward.Sorry Lowe’s you’ve been low one to many times.
Very friendly and helpful. They have the parts I needed at a good price
I like Lowes, but the visit today was average. Half the parking lot is filled with mulch and various other garden stuff, but it basically closed the convenient parking entrance off. The aisles inside the store were not much better. Items displayed in the middle of walkways. Not the worst visit to a home improvement store, but definitely not the best. It was average.
I can usually find everything I need here...except an employee. There has been more than one trip where I spent more time looking for someone to help me than I did buying what I was there for. To the point where we ended up buying our stove online because after waiting for nearly an hour in home appliances we never saw anyone who could sell us one in store. The 4-star rating is because they really do have a great selection, and I usually dont need an employee to get what I want.
Kind of disappointing. Not a whole lot of people around to help or ask questions of and when you do ask somebody I ended up getting directed to the wrong aisle and nothing was there that I was looking for.
Found everything for my pond. Home Depot has zero pond stuff. Great for lowes.
Store is clean, staff are helpful, and I can usually find what I need. Lowes does not appear to stop people who are not wearing masks from coming into the store. Note: There is construction happening on south campus view drive and the Lowes parking lot is full of pallets. Be prepared to spend some time finding a place to park and possibly change your route to avoid it.
I stopped shopping Lowes some time ago because of the lack of customer service, but today I had such a great experience from the service I received from Tom & Tim in flooring, that they have regained me as a customer. They went above and beyond to help me and made me feel as I was their only customer. I was very impressed. Thank you Tom & Tim!
Decent selection. In stock items. The cute girl in the paint section seemed a little confused but thats okay haha
The associate, Nick, was very helpful! He led us straight to what we needed and gave us great advice.
Sorry lowes is the worst not covid friendly clerk nodding off . Call me as I see em
Online order was lost and delayed a week. Curbside pickup was also horrible once it finally arrived at the store. When at the store for curbside pickup it took 6 minutes and three transfers to just to get to the online pickup deoartment to tell them we were there at curbside pickup, but they immediately asked to put us on hold which we waited for over 20 minutes until I decided to walk into the store to the online pickup desk. I told him we had been out there on hold for 20 minutes, to which he asked me the name for the order and said he would go get it right then. 15 minutes more of sitting in my vehicle they finally brought out my order. I will never order online from Lowes or use curbside pickup. Lowes has a lot of work to do for their online ordering and curbside pickup!
All the others were out of what we needed, but THIS store had it! Why we love Lowes & their awesome customer service!
Richard in the garden center was super helpful for me and my grandma! Thank you :)
I appreciate two beautiful ladies to day,Mary and Peython been helping me. I love this store 😍
Lowe’s has the materials needed to complete my Handyman Jobs and make my customers happy
This is our neighborhood Lowes location and its our favorite store. Weve picked up everything from cleaning supplies and masks at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Plants, pots and potting soil to add some life to our home. Weve bought plumbing supplies, hair clog removers and faucets. Doors, keys and window curtains. Duct tape, thumbtacks and gorilla glue to keep the house together. Be sure you visit next time you have a project at your home. Enjoy
Easy to find items with the app. Helpful staff.
Very good, lots of help from people working there. My son bought more than intended.
Once you get to know a particular lowes location it is a great place for hardware
Its a lowes, not great but better than home depot.
I was trying to set up a repair appointment, called the number provided on the automated system. I sat on hold 30+ minutes the first time and over 45 minutes the second time I had to call back, no one ever answered. Going to call a different repair place, not waiting to talk to an agent nor do I have the time to be on hold for over an hour and a half a day.
Waited 15 minutes before I was even helped. Just needed to do a pickup. 3 small items.
Worst customer service ever.... the store is always great its the employee that answers the phone... hangs up, transfers blindly to random departments no help!!
Waiting in line for 20 minutes at garden shop in Jordan Landing at 545pm on May 26. I called customer service saying there was a long line and only one new clerk. S he responded by saying they only had three cashiers in the whole store. That excuse is a serious scheduling problem for Lowes not mine. Thus Has never happened to me at Home Depot. I shop there often now I know why. Lowes is coming up last in the competitive market of home and garden products. Also people that work for Lowes should not make excuses for why their service is poor to the customer. There were 11 people in line after many of them went inside the store and I’m sure they found the same situation. Everyone in the line was agitated so I called.
Matthew was great helping us find replacement trim molding. Great asset!
Returns are sometimes Difficult.Help is sometimes hard to find. Prices are on the high side.
Thank you Robert and Roz for your stupendous service. I went to the Jordan Landing location looking for mixet cartridge and few other things. They were courteous and so super helpful.
I love customer service in west Jordan and would definitely go here a lot for stuff I need
Service wasnt very good. Couldnt get anyone willing to help. They seemed to be way under staffed.
Sore was clean and parts were very organized while others were cluttered so that a cart could not pass.
I love shopping at Lowe’s. It’s a fun store. Found what I was after. Sales people were amazing. Got in and got out.
I have been a loyal Lowes customer for years and years. I live closer to Home Depot but had preferred Lowes. I was at the WJ location, I was extremely disappointed in the fact that only about 70% of customers are wearing masks. It is required by the county all people wear them. I wish I could continue to support Lowes but if they cant follow the rules and show such poor customer service I will take my business elsewhere. They have a sign on the door that indicates masks are required. It seems more like a small suggestion. Penalty my eye!!!
I love Lowes they have lots of items that home depot doesnt have. However, I shop at both.
Staff seems burnt out and spread to thin, especially. They also seem undertrained.
Great store the associates are always helpful. Parking is a bit sketchy but a great store.
I hate that they say you can enter your phone number instead of a printed receipt to track your order, when you go to return something the people at customer service will tell you ya sorry that doesnt work Im not sure why it says that?? But then they wont do anything to help you either!!
Nice store, always find what we need.
It was terrible. We purchased a dishwasher yesterday and set up delivery for this Friday but told them we could probably borrow a friends truck to pick it up today. The girl that helped us said that was fine and even sent a coworker to the back to make sure they had the dishwasher we bought in stock in the store and he came back and said they had 2 of them. We were assured it would be okay if we were able to pick up the dishwasher before the delivery date. We were able to borrow a truck to pick up the dishwasher. I called Lowes ahead of time to let them know we were coming to pick it up. The woman I spoke with had no interest in who we were she said they would just get the dishwasher when we got there. We got there and spent almost 2 hours there trying to get our dishwasher. A manager rolled her eyes at my husband when he asked what the update was after being there 45 minutes. We ended up without the dishwasher that we paid for the day before. Im thinking they sold us a dishwasher they really didnt have in the back and just figured they would have it in stock by the delivery day we set up. I will never ever trust Lowes again. If you dont have it in stock just tell us you dont! We wasted 2 hours trying to pick it up because you said we could do that .
My favorite place to shop for my handyman company
Its sometimes hard to find some help amd they seem to be low on a lot latlely, but that seems to be a lot of places. I feel like they are a little more pricey than home depot. For the most part they have what you need.
Used to be better. The last few years it seems this store has gotten more and more disorganized, more items are out of stock, and/or shelves havent been restocked from top stock. I often have to drive out to the Riverton Lowes to find things that havent been restocked in months at the West Jordan Lowes.
Nice employees, they had what I was looking for.
I LOVE home-improvement stores!! We got very good service from an employee who made sure we found everything we needed. We found him at 5-after the hour and he helped us for a solid 10 minutes. When we had checked out, we saw him in the parking lot, leaving. Im pretty sure he had stayed longer than he was on the clock to help us and didnt just walk away or dump us off on another associate. Thats the kind of customer service you can expect here. Check out lines were a little long, but the physical distancing was worth it. The only reason I didnt give this a five-star is because some of the employees were not wearing their masks properly, which took away that feeling of safety when shopping during a pandemic.
Staff was amazing, super helpful! They had everything I needed. I will say I was a little disappointed when trying to purchase some wood to be cut, they were all super damaged, and it was hard to find a good piece to work with.
Shout out to Tim in the flooring department! I was all over the valley looking for some LVP trim in a pattern that was recently discontinued. Not only did the store have what I needed after checking three others, Tim marked down the discontinued items for me. Thanks for the great service!
The last two days I visited two stores, one didnt have the product and was told it doesnt exist. Bought the product at another store the next day. Both stores I was needing to use the restroom, could not because it looked like San Francisco sidewalk restrooms.
Had to go through a maze to get into the parking lot. Was told to pay for the heavier items that I needed and they would load them in to the car. Waited for several minutes and was told by two other customers that you have to load the items your self. Noone came to help!
Enjoy walk with my husband inside in spring time....Flowers 💐, and patio furniture is sooo beautiful!!!
Had everything Ive been looking for and very helpful and friendly service.
EVERYTIME I come to this specific location my family is followed by security. My outfit alone costs more than most things they sell. The other guys are way better.
Placed an order at 7am and received message that they were extremely busy and to wait for order ready confirmation which finally came at 9:35am. Went there and pulled into pickup slot. App wouldnt allow me to notify them I was there so called number on sign. They answered and told me to drive down to lumber area and they would have an employee load my purchase. Sat there for 15 minutes and finally went in the store. I was then informed that they were getting my items together and would be out shortly. Finally after 5 minutes more the guy shows up at my car with my purchased items. Why wasnt my items ready, they were paid for as required, when I got there and when I went inside (which I didnt want to do in the first place) there were at least 4 employees standing around doing nothing.(extremely busy huh) Customer service is going down hill
Employees arent very helpful and customers are super rude. Id pay more at home depot any day but my car broke down in the parking lot next to Lowes 😒
I rather go to Lowes than Home Depot but I had to wait about 30 minutes for help in blinds department I gave you 3 out of 5 stars. When I got help they stated that they are short staffed. Then the blind cutting machine was not working to well.
Nice store always fine what I looking for thanks
We have had good luck finding what we came for here. The sales associates are always very helpful
I come to this lowes often, i feel they are more organized as far as floorplan and finding what you need than home depot. I Usually find what I need when I come here.
Love lowes but this time they didnt have anything i was looking for.
Found items after spending some time, couldnt find helper easily
I recently ordered a new refridgerator from Lowes. I did my order on-line and was thrilled at the sale price of the item I had picked out. I was also pleased that I could pay for a haul-away and not have to worry about what to do with the old appliance. However, the delivery company they use refused to take the old appliance even though it stated it right on the invoice they handed us. Also, they changed the delivery time from the one we requested and was told it would be to one that was more convenient for them. It took me a week to get someone to pick up the old fridge. Customer service was a joke as well. You are kept on hold for more that 30 minutes and then told someone would call you back within 24 hours. This does not happen. I dont recommend that you order anything from them that requires a delivery.
Lowes west valley has the best staff there happy and glad to be at work and the managers actually care about the customers.
Technically, All of my tools are from here. Doesnt that say something? Lowes, You are my #1 tool store.
Found exactly what I needed!
They let you bring your dog, the store is clean and close and convenient.
Cashier was very kind to leave her register to help me finger a Citronella plant. I had asked a woman who was watering plants and moving things around earlier and all she did was to point in the direction, which was WRONG!
Needed a condensate pump, as luck would have it, they had one on the shelf and I bought it. In and out!
You know whats funny everyone that works here does not know where anything is. I asked a simple question of a product and was told Im not sure.. I know everyone knows this but it was funny. Three stars because they had what I needed it just took awhile to find.
Trying to get someone to help you is bad I asked a person to help me and go NOT MY DEPARTMENT waiting for.the person for half hour ask 3 times when I got help the person could NOT answer my question. IT WAS NOT HER DEPARTMENT
My edging was better price at lowes then home depot
Dead flowers. Poor service. Told the lady working there and she didnt seem to care that the flats on the rack out front were dry as a bone.
Found what I needed quickly. Great clearance prices! Clean and well organized. Every time I go there recently, the thing I am in search of is out of stock. I blame corona.
For the first time in a long time we were asked if we will needed help. We said what we needed and the dude was able to help us.
Tons of employees with masks around their necks (completely off their face) or wearing a face shield without a mask. Clearly they dont care about the pandemic.
