We cant say enough good things about Summit Coatings. We were looking for someone to install a penny floor in our kitchen,we finally came across their website, thank God ! We read about them and thought maybe they could help.We called Adam, explained what we needed,he said they had never done a penny floor but would come take a look at it. He said they were up to the challenge. They started and it is amazing,the guys were so professional,and fun, they were attentive and responsive to any and all of our concerns. Epoxy coating my garage is something that I had thought about for years and never pulled the trigger on. Some friends of mine suggested that I do it myself, but I didnt trust myself enough to not screw it up, plus I live alone and through my research found that its really a 2-person job. Not only was Chase and Adam extremely knowledgeable and professional but they provided a better quote than many other epoxy flooring services that I checked with in the Salt Lake valley and went above and beyond when working on my floors, including grinding down, smoothing out, and cleaning the floors before doing the coatings. I would highly recommend Summit Coatings to anyone who is looking for a job well done on their floors at an extremely fair and reasonable price.

Summit Coatings (Chase and Adam) did an amazing job on fixing my porch. Long story short, I tried to save money by having someone put a layer of cement on my porch as it was breaking apart. He did a bad job on it which caused the cement to break apart after 1 month. Not only did Summit coatings coat everything and made it look like new. They took the time to remove EVERYTHING (the broken cement on my porch), put permanent step metal plates, which fixed the broken steps, but made it super new! NOT only that, there were 2 instances where someone stepped on the wet paint and they came back and fixed it. Price was very comparable and their workmanship was awesome. I would highly recommend them and will be having them do my garage in the next few months.

Top notch in every way. They were timely, professional, called a few days in advance to assure I was ready for them. They got in, did great prep work (grinding, etc.), were attentive to details (edging, etc.). Gave me all the info I needed. The job looks fantastic. Adam and Chase are honest, level headed guys who do what they say they will.I couldnt be more satisfied!

I’m not sure I can say enough great things about Summit Coatings, these guys are fantastic! Truly a first class company that takes pride in their work. Adam, Chase and their entire team are incredibly professional, knowledgable and detail oriented. Our project required the existing epoxy to be removed completely for the look we were trying to achieve - these guys went above and beyond to make sure the job was completed in a timely manner and the final product far exceeded our expectations. Does awesome work my storage room floor looks great.

They really get no stars from me, but the minimum allowed is one. I cannot comment on the quality of their work because they never showed up. Their business mission statement seems to be focused more on money than providing a service. They typically dont take jobs unless they meet a minimum requirement dollar amount, which should have been my first clue that money trumps providing a needed service. If they get a job that will bring in more money a smaller job will be pushed aside. I dont assume this, it was told to me this was why my job was postponed. I dont begrudge anyone making good money for a service they can provide, but prioritizing jobs based on money versus who comes first is not a very ethical business practice. I have been on their schedule for 4 months with a somewhat smaller job, although one that is a safety hazard that should not go unattended. The first time frame I was promised came and passed without a word. When I contacted them, it took several emails and a facebook message before they would respond. I was then given another intended time frame, and that too went by without anyone showing up and no communication. In fact, 2 weeks later, I still cannot get a response via email or facebook (although they have seen the messages and their page says they will respond quickly). Four months is a long time to wait to find out they have no intention of following through. Clearly, this displays a lack of courtesy and integrity, which I would recommend be taken into consideration if contemplating hiring them. My recommendation would obviously be, just dont.
