This place is the worst. I was trying to support local businesses during this pandemic but my experience with this company truly showed how ungrateful the staff is for business. I made an appointment online. I called later to ask if I could get the technician I had before, Michele, who was amazing. Also, wanted to confirm the price as the service I get didn’t fit the packages they offered. Bear in mind in used to be a regular back in 2017. The first set of communication was through a text to which the person sending the text stated that Michele was not available at the time I needed my appointment. I was ok with being assigned to Aimee. When I confirmed the price, the text sent me a link to the menu. I explained the situation and the person was not accommodating and stated someone from the front desk would be calling. A few hours later, Aimee called. First she was condescending and very “fake.” Her intentions were never to help and assist but rather prove me wrong. I explained my situation and asked that she look back at my history regarding the pricing. Aimee acknowledged the pricing I was charged in the past then started to lecture me on company policy. I had to stop her midway and state that I have been to your shop and was a regular. Without skipping a beat, she continued with her lecture. I finally had to stop her. Aimee then tried correcting me and stated that I had not been in the store since 2017 and technically I was not a regular. Note, I stop going to this store because of another incident, but I booked an appointment with them to give them another chance. In the end, I finally said to Aimee, cancel my appointment. She then finished the conversation with, “You have a great day.” In such a condescending and ignorant manner. This place is a joke. Their services and quality of work is marginal and outside of Michele, who is amazing, Aimee clearly did not appreciate the business I wanted to bring to their company. Clearly, there is a lack of appreciation for business at this place.

I have very sensitive skin and most waxes leave me red for hours. But I found their wax very gentle and effective. I am 100% satisfied with my visit. Very friendly staff. Super clean and modern facility. Their wax is amazing. Removes even the finest hair the first time. No need to keep going over the same area and irritating the skin! I would come back for other areas and recommend them to others.

Yuk been coming here several times and it was fine. Now all of a sudden another lady i booked with. Because she was only available. I was 10 minutes late. I come there there is no one standing at front desk. Im waiting 10 min and she comes walking in. I can’t help you anymore your late. Manzilian, no less.Was really nervous going in, but Cara was so professional and personable, I felt at ease almost immediately.Her expertise and delicate touch left a great impression, as well as silky smooth skin :) ...not nearly as painful as I anticipated.I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and Ive already booked my next appointment with Cara.

I actually went in for several services with one of their trainees (Michelle, I believe). I scheduled arms, armpits, Brazilian, and Bottom. She was very friendly and so was the instructor. It was just a few days before my monthly lady time and I was worried I might be more sensitive than usual- but it actually was one the least painful waxes Id ever received! These ladies are trained well and their products are top of the line. I would definitely recommend getting your waxing there!

Was pleasantly surprised I was able to get a same day appointment, and when I walked in was warmly greeted. I had to fill out minimal paperwork as a new customer and was taken back immediately. The waxing was as painless as it could be, the esthetician was nice, and the mandatory chit chat didnt seem forced or awkward. Great prices too! Will definitely be a loyal customer while able to find close Lunchbox locations.

First time at LunchBOX today as a training model and it was great. My waxologist, Sharon, was super chill and friendly with a super attention to detail. She handled my sensitive skin with absolute care and made sure she got all of my extremely fine, blonde leg hair. Because my brain isnt working at this hour. I already forgot my waxologists name started with a K. Anywho I walked in with no appointment to get my Underarms done. I was greeted with a friendly smile, the check in process was pretty quick and she immediately took me back for my service. The service itself Im not gonna lie because I normally use hard wax I was slightly nervous about the pain, Ive had a bad experience in the past. However she made it so seemless and as painless as possible. They use a few products that help to soothe and nourish the skin before and after the service, which I really liked. I would definitely recommend trying them out and will be back to try the Brazilian!

My experience was hands down the best !! This was my first time EVER in my life to go get waxed at a salon and it was great. The location is great, once you walk in those doors you are welcomed with a smile and made feel at peace. My boyfriend decided to tag along and he was welcomed aswell (Was even offered to use their charger to charge his phone and the Wifi password) since he would be waiting a while . Although I was still nervous, Cheleste the awesome lady who did my wax services made me feel comfortable and was super attentive to me all at the same time as she was training 2 of her trainees there . I was surprised because waxing my Lips, armpits, arms, and legs went by pretty fast and I honestly barely felt any pain after each pull! she was great and never was it an awkward moment . I honestly will be going back and I hope her trainees are as bad ass as her because she has great techniques . Super happy with my results and let me tell you not one burn mark on me so give them a try! You wont regret it. Thanks once again :-)

I went to Lunchbox WeHo for what has become my monthly waxing - back, legs and Manzilian. I also did my hands this time (I hate hairy paws :>) I had a couple of different waxologists this time - Stacia did my Manzillian and Alex (as in Alexandra, not as in Alexander) did the rest. I am always amazed that no matter who does the waxing, they are uniformly excellent, as were Stacia and Alex. I have been a happy Lunchbox client for about 6 months now and I am a total convert to waxing. Each time the session gets easier as less hair grows back in. It has become such a non-issue that today I coud have easily taken a nap while being de-furred. Once again I tell all the guys (and the girls) out there not to believe the bad jokes and comedy routines they see in the movies and on TV about waxing. Its a cheap joke but it bears no resemblence to reality. I must also add that since I started waxing I tried a local spa in an ill-advised effort to save a bit of mney BIG mistake, If you are feeling a lot of discomfort when you are getting waxed (as I did at this spa) you are simply going to the wrong place. I have come to learn that there is a difference in the process used when you are being waxed, and the Lunchbox process is simply the BEST. If you are going to oay someone to remove the hair from your body dont go cheap. Pay a little more (Lunchbox is priced about in the middle) and get the best value for your money. In my case when I went to the spa I saved $50 but I wasted $150 on a painful and largely useless experience that left me with hair in a lot of missed spots, and my skin scraped and even bruised. Never again. Girls - buy a gift certificate for your guy. And guys - buy one for your girl,,Then you can get waxed together and discover the joys of bare, hair-free, post cave-man (and woman) skin :>)

5/3/2016 •Updated reviewThis was my fifth visit to Lunchbox Waxing Salon (see the review of my previous visit below), and my second visit to their new West Hollywood Salon. I want stress a few things. First, as they are a franchise the waxing experience has been consistently good between locations (I have also visited their Henderson [Las Vegas] location) and the skill set of their waxologists has been consistently good as well. My most recent waxologist at the West Hollywood location was Christina. Like all the waxologists I have seen she was great. Christina was very skilled, she was all business, and she put me completely at ease throughout the process. Second I want to stress for anyone reading this (and especially the guys) that the whole idea of pain associated with waxing is wildly overblown. Like most guys I was VERY fearful of what it would be like to get my nether regions waxed. My fear - and yours - was completely unwarranted. I have had a Manzilian - a Brazilian for men - done four times now and each time the minor, temporary discomfort has diminished to the point thats its no longer even a consideration. Each time the skin has become more and more used to the process and there is less and less reaction to the process. I honestly view it now much like going for a massage or a haircut. I always get my back, legs and Manzilian done. The waxologists at Lunchbox have always been great. They are all business, very skilled and all have put me at ease and kept me relaxed through the entire process. I used to shave everything. I am now hooked on waxing at Lunchbox. If you havent tried it yet, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.This was my fourth visit to Lunchbox, but my first to their new West Hollywood location. The other three were at their location in Henderson (Las Vegas) NV. All visits involved waxing my back and full legs and the Manzilian - yup, its a Brazilian for men. My visits to the WeHo location were with waxologist Nayla. All of my visits have been great experiences. Nayla was very professional and very proficient and I was very pleased with the results. Guys, let me bring you up-to-speed on the Manzilian. Like most of you I was initially very fearful of what this experience might be like. But my fears - and yours - were totally unfounded. It is NOT painful. Its quick and easy and Nayla (and I have no doubt the other waxologists) was very professional and she was all business. I came away completely hair free - and I do mean completely. I used to shave my Manzilian area, but I am a total convert to waxing and a BIG fan of Lunchbox. And I will let you in on a secret, just in case you didnt already know this - women LOVE a hair free man. Its a turn on for all the women I have encountered. And ladies, if you are partnered with a man who is still furry (like some caveman) and you want to convert him to a sleek, hair free modern man, bring him with you next time you visit Lunchbox. You will both be glad you did. Body hair is soooo yesterday!
