The UPS Store is one tenth of a mile from my home (Im sure less than that but not according 2 Google maps.Been a customer on and off for 20 years?!Very very nice and very very experienced knowing how to do any return. With Amazon return with no box for free to local ups store, Ive become more regular a customer. They work so hard all day every day, but are always polite, friendly and try to help customers ASAP given there is always a bunch of Big Box Shipping orders for them to pack up.Great people in terms of their outstanding work under non stop daily number of returns. They are friendly enough, but too busy to ever get into a conversation. But professionally I can say with decades of experience they know how to handle every kind of shipping, get it right and get it done asap for every customer.

First time at this location and will be my last. They charge me a $5.00 “customer service” fee to put an item in a box that I purchasd from them. I said I would do it myself but they insisted. The strangest thing is that they didn’t tell me about the fee - it wasn’t until a day later that I looked at the receipt and saw it. Don’t waste your time going here... So many other better UPS locations in the area.

This is establishment is a hustle. They do not abide by UPS rates. I brought 4 boxes each 32 pounds to be shipped to Chicago (UPS ground), along with a scooter, and they quoted me $1000. I walked in and they looked at the boxes without measuring or weighing anything and said this will be a little over $1000. I immediately knew they were trying to scam me. I took all my boxes back into my car and went to fed ex. They shipped my boxes for $340 dollars. The scooter would’ve been $150, but I decided to just take it on the plane. Avoid this place, they follow no rules.

The man behind the counter helping me yesterday (for at least 30 minutes) was not wearing a mask the whole time. Everyone else who was in the store was. Isnt it required right now to wear a mask inside??

The best place in LA for packing shipping etc... Had my PO Box there for 13 years & the guys that run it were the greatest & always incredibly friendly. Made my life so convenient receiving packages w text alerts, never had to worry about packages getting stolen from my porch at home.

The guys that helped me here were SUPER courteous and very generous. I had some questions about shipping a large box, next day mind you, and they not only helped me in packaging, but took on shipping and insuring everything, as if it were their own property. I was very comfortable leaving my package there, knowing it would get out of here safely and securely. I recommend this store to everyone. Great job! :D

This UPS Store location was a great experience. I received the same unfortunate information about account numbers and preprinted labels as I had at the first UPS Store location I tried on sunset, however, at this location I was helped by a gentleman who explained to me the correct forms I needed and also recommended a location I could get them from as they didnt have any either. This was all done kindly and professionally despite them being very busy.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! ALWAYS KIND, PROFESSIONAL & ACCOMMODATING! I recommend them completely and trust them with my packages. I have gone at 3pm on a Thursday at this West Hollywood location and they have delivered to my sisters house in Las Vegas, Nevada the very next day! I do not know how they did it, but they did. They have supplies also that are reasonable priced, and I now have a mailbox that I use for business purposes. This place is a must visit location if you want great service, quality packaging and guaranteed delivery!

We needed to ship a diverse set of items home that we had collected while in the area — everything from paperwork to small appliances to laptops to a 53-pound decorative piece. Because we were traveling, we had no facilities to package the stuff up ahead of time, so we just hauled it into the UPS store in whatever we had available: garbage bags, banker boxes, even a big blue IKEA bag. And then we asked them to package it and ship it for us. I wish I had caught the name of the gentleman who serviced us. While his mannerisms were rather muted, he was EXTREMELY adept at assessing our items and planning out the most efficient way to package and ship them. He must have spent a good 40 minutes helping us (in total, over 2 trips), and thats not counting the time he spent finishing up the packaging after we left. We were very pleased with the service we received and very pleased with the results.

These guys take my packages, ask if I want a receipt and wish me a good day. They seem pretty nice and good at their job. Id also like to point out that the queen below, Ph Ayers, is tanking reviews for this business because hes shocked that they charge double for certified mail. Hello, this isnt the Post Office. You want cheap, go to Fairfax and wait in line for two hours (by the way read some of his other reviews, telling straight people they have spoiled kids under Will Rogers Beach--sorry straights, not all of us gays are hateful queens); this brings me to my next point, which is that most UPS store do try and rip you off because they are paying rent and not really part of UPS. This store doesnt do it. They are quite upfront about prices. Again, if you want rock bottom prices, go wait two hours in line at the Post Office. Are people just spoiled or stupid. Screw you Ph Ayers.

I had come in to make color duplex copies of a PDF file on a jump drive. Brought my own paper. Had emailed to find out prices before showing up, was told it was $1.18 to do both sides of a double-sided printed color page. I showed up and needed someone to show me, er, how this operates. I got a counterpersons attention and said, I need to make some color copies from this USB drive? The clerk gestured at the copy machine. I reiterated, I need to make copies from a file on this USB drive? Another assistant came from around the corner, guided me over to the machine, and demonstrated it. My copy came out, but it wasnt printed duplex. I was told that in order to print duplex, one has to use the computer.Okay, so, I had two sheets of paper (my paper) with one side printed on each. I asked how to pay for the erroneous document. The counterperson told me not to worry about it, since it wasnt done correctly, but next time use the computer for duplex printing. I thanked them and left.I looked over my print out at home, and decided to make some changes. I returned to the store, prepared to use the computer for some duplex printing. I opened up the PDF file using Acrobat, and sent my document, in duplex form, to the printer. After much, much too long, the computer told me there was an error and that it had failed to print. I took my jump drive home to see if I could figure out the problem. My problem was my file size. I adjusted that, recreated the file, and returned a third time to print duplex on my own paper. I succeeded... sort of. Acrobat Reader had lopped off the margins of my document, so while it was still unusable, I headed over to pay my $1.18.The bill, it turned out, was $4.51. I got out a $5 bill, handed it to the clerk, and then asked, I thought that it was only going to set me back $1.18 for a single sheet duplex printed in color. Is that not so? The man explained, I have to charge you $3.00 for using the computer. Me: Oh, theres a computer use charge? Man: Yep. Me: Okay, so, like, is it per instance of use for for a certain number of minutes or quarter hours? What was I supposed to get for my $3? Man: I was just watching the time. And the last time you came in you tied up the computer for a long time, remember? I admitted that I did, though that time had been wasted since I hadnt been able to print anything. I got my change and left.I re-read my emails. There was no mention of a computer use fee. I checked the web page for this location. No information there about a computer use fee, as well as no information about per-cost copies in color or black and white, no info about duplex printing, no rates per unit time for tying up the computer, no explanation about how the print-it-yourself process works at all. If you dont call in to get an answer, it seems, you might never know. And apparently they arent so regular about what they decide to charge per printout anyway. And be aware: there is a random computer use fee that gets tallied by a clerk who keeps an eye on the clock and decides how much money thats worth to you.I was intending to set up a print run of between 100 and 120 sheets of the document I have. At least, once I can get a printer to print it the way I need it printed. But at $4.51 per single-page printout, thats almost $500 to complete the job. Christ, I can BUY a color printer of my own for a fraction of that. Never mind, UPS, you have done your part to make me feel unwelcome, and I must now find another business to help me, perhaps one further from my home, but maybe at least more upfront and consistent about what I will be charged for the result I get.

Must be the rudest, most uncaring service in this city. If it werent for the location and need to send out quickly, I would not bother with this location.
