Unless your standard is low to no, avoid this place....LOTA has new management fyi. I gave it 1 star for each employee that negatively impacted my personal business there drying my laundry. Recently experienced temporary problem with my personal clothes dryer. Therefore it became necessary for me to drive to what once was my favorite Laundromat to dry our clothes and to my surprise it had been sold. Currently, Its unkempt. A few of the clothes dryers smelled of urine and werent drying my clothes and and she told me to wait ...not only that it looks run down and shoddy. To add more insult to injury management were extremely unwelcoming, moody and down right rude. I highly recommend Rosies Laundromat...So glad Rosies Laundromat is opening up a new West Hartford location twice the size of the Bristol CT location. Nice band-aid☀️

I took my down comforter to be dry cleaned for the first time since buying it a few months earlier and when I got it back they put it inside a plastic bag. Unbeknownst to me it was still wet and by the time I took it out ( 4 days later) to put it on my bed, Ive never smelled something so horrible in my life!! I called them right away to tell them about it still being wet and smelly. They told me to bring it back they would clean it again. When I got it back the second time there was no smell right away but after a few days it started to smell again, and if any that was damp is place on it gets worse!

Cute little laundromat. Decent prices. They need to clean their washers more thoroughly as there seems to be mold in a lot of them. Also, the few times Ive been here only one employee has worn a mask.

Good place to contract Covid, considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic. No one was taking this serious whatsoever. What appeared to be the owner, the employees and several customers were not wearing a mask at all. I had to walk between people with no mask on talking to each other to get to my washer and dryer. What the heck is up with that. Definitely not going back!

I use the laundry drop off service. It is so easy, they will even pick it up and drop it off for you, for no extra cost. The staff is friendly and fast. Its especially nice during these times, to have the option to stay home.

Clean convenient facility.

Gave two mattresses to get cleaned and they couldnt get the job done on time. On top of that, they didnt even do a good job either. Pretty much the worst place you can get your things cleaned at.

Used The Laundry Room on the Ave and I was so wonderfully pleased with the entire experience from start to finish! Def worth a try! I am going to be using the wash and fold next; you can tell they really care for you and your belongings. Everything was handled so professionally and delicately. I actually can’t wait to go back because it was a nice experience.

The Owner is an awesome person. He is helpful and considerate. Great washers and dryers. I always support businesses that have morals/values and this is the best one to go to.

I just moved here from Boston a few months back and have been using these guys for all my needs since living in CT. Very cost effective vs my coin op machines in the basement and the work they do is always timely and on point. I live right up the block from them so it’s a no brainer.

This laundromat is in a very convenient location, it’s easy to park here and the prices are fair. $3 for a small wash, $4 for medium, and $5 for large. They offer free dry 7-11 am every day, as well as 4-9 pm on Sunday which is wonderful! The woman working was very kind and helpful. There is a quarter machine in the back and a coffee machine in the front with chairs for waiting.

My go to place for wash and fold. Very friendly service along with affordable prices. Always delivers on time.

I was in town for 2 months & I dropped off about 2 loads of laundry for their wash dry & fold service. It was less than $15, and the woman at the desk even allowed me to have two items left out of the dryer no issue. The second time I came was a Sunday morning to do it myself and to my surprise it’s free dry before 11am on Sundays 🤗 they have coffee & magazines available while you wait, very clean store and helpful staff

Paid over $100 for about 10 items on the 1st. Was told theyd be ready on the 6th. Drove over and they were not ready. Employee didnt really care. Just said to come back tomorrow. Its now tomorrow and guess what, its still not ready. They said, you guessed it, maybe tomorrow. Im new to dry cleaning, does it normally cost this much and still take over a week to get done? This place is a joke. Take your stuff literally anywhere else. Youre practically guaranteed to get faster and better service. Wow. Keep my experience in mind if you need an outfit dry cleaned for an event!! Also, if you get fed up with waiting you still cant get your stuff back since they send it out. Their only saving grace is the woman working when we first went in, she was great.

I really cant say anything bad about this place. Ive been here a few times to do laundry and its perfect. I believe its a family owned, its pretty smaller than the one I usually go to down the street but its so clean that I dont even mind and the staff is nice. Its about .25-.50 more then the other ones but Ill take it.

I’ve been using the wash/fold service since I moved to West Hartford. I have absolutely no complaints!Same day service and reasonably priced!

So, Ive been coming here for a while now and they consistently have broken machines, the change machine is constantly down, and one night my fabric softener froze when I left it in my car and the night time staff threw a FIT about me using a small amount of fabric softener without asking. I tried to explain my fabric softener had frozen and I didnt know if was for staff only, since its always out next to the washers and not behind the counter and the daytime staff hasnt had a problem with plenty of other customers using it routinely. Someone was having a bad night but thats how you ruin customer relationships for LIFE.

Ive posted this on Yelp, but I feel strongly that this place deserves recognition. The owners are lovely people, the service is top notch, and the price is very reasonable. Everything looks very new and up to date. Our clothes are cleaner than our apartment complex machines get them, and the convenience of dropping it off is worth the little extra money we spend. We wouldnt go anywhere else. Love that we can drop off laundry in the morning and its washed/folded by 5pm. So happy we found such a place and so conveniently located in West Hartford. I cant speak highly enough of this place.

The coin change machine malfunctioned on me two times. The first time I put in $10, the machine did not dispense any coins. I inquired about this and the lady at the front desk kindly gave me the change. The second time, I warned the man at the front desk that I was going to put in $20, and that I had problems with the machine before. It dispensed only $15 in coins. The man at the front desk would not help me out despite me explaining him beforehand, and having laid out all the coins to show only $15. He claims that this is the first time he got a complaint like this. I will not be coming back again.

A diamond in the rough! This laundromat is hands down the best one I have ever been too.It is spotless and the machines are fabulous! They have a flat screen television, with the latest issues of a variety of popular magazines to peruse while you enjoy fresh brewed coffee and baked goods that are put out by the very friendly and accommodating staff. Love the Laundry Room on the Ave, makes doing my laundry more of a treat than a dreaded chore.Kudos to the owners for caring about us folks that are regulated to finding decent public laundry facilities!!!

Very new, large and fast washers and dryers. Always clean. Comfortable seating, complimentary coffee and free wifi. The best laundromat in West Hartford. Convenient wash and fold service, much less costly than nearby laundromats.

I had a wonderful experience with the owner Sean. I called him to see if he wouldnt mind waiting a bit later for me to bring in my clothing to be washed and dry cleaned. He said that is not a problem, and he would take care of it.

Sign on the door no dry only. So if your washer is broken, its OK to go and wash your clothes at $6 a pop, but then when your dryer breaks you arent supposed to dry your clothes there. I would love to give this place decent ratings ... but sorry, this policy completely sucks.

This space is too small to be a laundromat. Things get backed up very quickly. Weve been here three times same problem everytime. Not enough dryers which means you will be standing around waiting or as I did took my wet clothes elsewhere to dry. Not very convenient. On a positive note the washers are very nice but still not worth the hassle.

Laundromat was nice to start out, but one day they closed earlier than their posted hours and when I returned to pick up my stuff, I was locked out and had to wait until the next day. IF you are going to post specific operating hours, why would you not adhere to them? Unacceptable and ridiculous that I my clothes were basically held hostage because the owners decided to close early... would not recommend.

Some people might think they have good service but I strongly disagree!! Is annoying!! and they treat you like you have never used a washer machine! Very disrespectful asking you if you know how to use the machines and taking others peoples clothes out of the dryers! And also asking clients for their carts when they are in clear use!! The employee was standing next to me while I was filling up the machine invading my privacy!! Never again!!1. Expensive machines2. Intruded service3. Small laundry4. Small area to fold5. Clothes didnt smell clean after the wash, probably they dont clean the filters frequently!The list can keep going!! Go to Wash Tub instead!!

Employee will follow you all the time without you asking for help. Also will take your clothes out of the machines without asking for permission to touch your belongings. Little quantity of machines so if you decide to go and is busy be ready. For now I will choose another laundromat if I need to.

I was just turned away from my commercial business that I bring there ever year for the spring & summer. A very condescending woman who said the owners were out of the country did not care to send me away. So disappointed.

Clean, newer washers, wash, dry, fold plus dry cleaning. Free dryers 8 Am to 11 am Mon thru Friday.

Machines are new, its clean and there is WiFi and a bathroom.
