The sales staff were all wonderful, helpful and pleasant. I am a regular customer. The security guard was very rude. First he stopped me and without explanation told me to remove my mask and look up at the security camera. I had to use the restroom abs left the store to look for facilities twice based on recommendation if sales staff; as I exited I told him I was leaving to find facilities and even mentioned it was hard to find. He did not respond at all- nothing- no greeting or acknowledgement.I was made to feel like a criminal. For the record I was dressed professionally and was very respectful and polite each time I entered and exited fully complying with the request. I did report his attitude. I went back to get an expensive necklace my friend had liked as a surprise gift and relieved to see he was replaced. The employee at the door was polite and helpful. Again, the sales staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.

I have been in to Lux Bond & Green locations in Glastonbury and West Hartford a few time in recent months to look at some Tudor and Oris watch offerings. While in the West Hartford location I ended up striking a great conversation with Matt about watches and ended up talking for over an hour. We talked Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Oris and other brands. He let me try on quite a few different ones, and we had a great conversation. He never once tried to rush me or pressure me. Just bought my second Tudor from this location. This time the watch was for my own use, a Black Bay 58 Blue (my wife’s “daily driver” is a Black Bay 36). It’s a fantastic watch, but it’s in high demand. Lux Bond & Green repaired my engagement ring and a diamond ring passed down generations and sized my wedding band. I came from out of state to Lux Bond and Green to get the repairs done as they were the ones that repaired my engagement ring 24 years ago and can be completely trusted with sentimental and vvaluable jewelry. Yuying took the time to walk me through various options I could go with for each ring. One ring needed a new band and the other one needed a new head or new setting. Yuying didn’t try to up sale me and took her time to go through all the details and costs. She also knew I was only in CT for a week and was going to expedite my repair to have it back to me before I left. I decided to go with a new band and change the color of the band and for the other ring replace the head with a head made out of the same medal platinum to hold the stone in. When I got the rings back the work was perfect the rings looked like new. However my engagement ring was not sized perfectly because my knuckle is bigger then my lower finger so my ring was turning. I knew I had to leave CT the next day and was concerned that my ring would turn and get damaged. Yuying suggested to add gold beads to the inside of the band to allow the ring to go over my knuckle but not turn when it is on. She asked if I could stay an hr longer to do this for me. I agreed and they got this adjustment done in 20mins. The ring fit perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about West Hartford Lux Bond & Green and specifically Yuying. I came here on recommendation from a friend on 12/23/20. I was greeted by David and right away I knew I came to the right place. He was very knowledgeable, didn’t treat me differently because of my age and never tried to push products on to me that I didn’t want.David was very eager to show me some of the new Rolex releases, even letting me check out the new 41mm Sub (unfortunately it was already sold). Im glad we were able to bond over our love for timepieces. Although I wasn’t able to make a purchase because they didnt have what I was looking for, he took down my information anyways and put me on a list! I cannot overstate the quality of service that I continue to receive at Lux Bond & Green. I have been a customer for a number of years and have been consistently impressed with the level of customer service that I receive, whether its a simple watch battery replacement or helping me with a new timepiece. I have limited my in person shopping in this post-covid world, but could not have felt safer in my 2 recent visits to their West Hartford store. In regards to those 2 recent visits, I want to give a big shout out to Matt, who was awesome in helping me with the purchase of a couple of new additions to my watch collection. The communication before, during and after my purchase from Matt could not have been more impressive. I would, I have, and I will continue to highly recommend Lux Bond & Green as the go to place to pick up that special item that your looking to gift to others or yourself.

Lux Bond & Green has a great selection, and the staff was very helpful, but not pushy. The prices were very reasonable. Margaret assisted me, and took time to ask about my wife and was genuinely interested in our story. I was very impressed, and will be returning. As for COVID measures, it did feel like it was a little hard to maintain distance from people, but the staff was taking care to wipe down each piece as well as credit cards before handing them to customers. Overall, they were very friendly, helpful, and I would recommend them highly.
