Brian and his crew are unbelievable. I work remotely, and one of my laptop keys were smashed. Took it in to PCW, and the entire keyboard needed to replaced. They ordered a new one and it came in a week. I brought my laptop back in, and they were done with it only an hour later, despite the fact that they were busy! Good as new. If youre looking for someone local for your laptop or phone repairs, these are your guys.

I stopped by after getting some disappointing news from Apple about my laptop. They were able to identify the problem quickly, fix it at a great cost and it only took a few days. They were also able to fix the problem without losing anything that was on my computer, which was my top concern. So far everything is working very well.

Good place to fix your electronics. Call before you go. Operating hours are short. Not necessary that your item can be fixed. Price is little high.

My bios and windows had crashed at the same time after a windows update was disrupted. Brought my laptop in and had my bios and windows reinstalled in less than 24hours! ps i tried a different store and they didnt even figure out what the issue was.

Brought my sons IPhone X for screen replacement several times. Last year, my son dropped and cracked his iPhone screen. The repair would take a few days while screens were being ordered. Days later I picked up his phone and brought it home. Almost immediately, the digitizer had an issue where it would key in multiple times with one tap. Ex. When putting in password I would start by entering the number 2. Each time I did this it would enter several 2’s on its own 2222. Needed to go back and have that replaced. They did at no charge but the next screen had a similar intermittent problem was we lived with it until we could not anymore. Returned to have this screen fixed a few months later where I was charged again for a new one. I paid and went on my way. A few months goes by and the screen separated and fell off the phone. Like the glass fell off the digitizer. Returned to have a new one put on. Charged again for what is clearly a quality control issue. Not happy but I thought I would do it one more time and trade the phone in. Well, I did not get the chance. The screen separated again. A new screen that separates from the digitizer. I find time within a week to bring it back. Certainly they can see the screens they are using are flawed in a serious way. Hold on to you r seats. They wanted me to pay for another screen. I questioned that politely and reminded him that it was replaced just days ago for the same separating issue. He told me that someone is pulling the screens apart. Get that. We are pulling the screens apart so I can have more down time with my phone and take time out of my day to make yet another drop off and return pick up. The charge was $75 so I said I would gladly pay it for the last time. I would never do business at a PCW computer store again. Last, I will go out of my way to make sure people I know are familiar with my experience there. You were more convient than making an appointment with Apple but clearly a mistake in the end. Warranty your equipment and work on your customer service. Failed in my book.

Horrible customer service skills. Said they could fix my sons ps4 that they would check out what was wrong with it and call me with price four days went by so I called them...they said they cleaned it and it was going to cost me 50 but I informed him that the ps4 could not play games they said they would fix and call me tomorrow BTW I told them this when I dropped off the ps4. So the next day I did not receive a call so I called them when I got off of work they told me they could not fix it at all and to come pick it up. So I did turns out they lied they never even cleaned the ps4 so not only did they not do what I asked but they tried to scam me for my money. And wasted my time. They dont deserve a star at all

Great place awesome job

Wasnt able to fix the problem without a new motherboard wich isnt a problem in its self.but when I took it home and took it apart thete were several broken clips inside. My laptop. Things that that work no longer worked ie exterior lighting and so on. Who ever his tech guy is either downt know how to work on alienware or just dosnt care enough to be gental with sensitive parts

They were very vague about when mycomputer would be ready and what was wrong. Told me I needed a new solid state drive and that my data couldn’t be recovered. I didn’t want it replaced so I picked it up and was told I “may” have a virus too. Not sure what the diagnostics was for if the problem wasn’t found.At any rate I was able to back up my data and reinstalled the OS and it’s now working fine. I think they just really wanted to push a SSD replacement and I nearly lost all of my data because of it. Waste of a $30 diagnostic and not worth the risk.

Very good prices, and fast service. Ive used them many times and have always been very pleased with the outcome of the repairs. They also helped my dad buy a computer, and I appreciated that they took the time to explain it all to him.

Just picked up my MacBook Air 2013. Had upgraded ram and a i7 processor installed prior to dropping it off. Tell me why none of the upgraded parts are in it. I flipped out. Drove back and the guy couldn’t even tell me what happened. Do not bring your computer here.

Theyre probably the best computer repair shop in the area. Its a small no, no fuss, no mess, quiet and courteous base for you to go to get your computer equipment repaired. A very nice shop.

Let the experts handle it! I feel a little clumsy when it comes to opening up my laptop and I didnt want to risk any damage. So, I called PCW up, got an estimate, which I felt was reasonable, again considering my laziness. Everything said and done, I paid $65 for them to replace my CMOS battery. Now, I am good for another 10 years. Peace!

I am so glad that I trusted the word of mouth about PCW.They were professional and personable. They were also very patient with me. I had many questions. When a brand new issue comes up, I want to feel informed and comfortable about the solution. I was.As most other folks feel, my computer is incredibly important to me. PCW fully understands that.It gets better; I got it back much earlier than predicted and the cost was less than originally quoted.I only wish they taught classes for Mac users for advanced creative applications!

Theyre a really good computer place. I had virus on my computer they fixed it and after a week i dropped my lap top which ruined the hard drive. They fixed the hard drive for free with no additional charge because i was there a week earlier. Thank you guys, will recommend them if you live around the Hartford area.

I had a broken laptop for 2 years and I have been trying so hard to find the perfect place to fix it and I found PCW and they made it brand new. I had no problems with customer service and it was fixed in approximately 5 days. I am very pleased

Not a people,s person place. It is understood that some of the computer people don´t care about other humans, but this is the place where you can actually see it first hand and feel it.They install a wrong software in your pc, they know it, but still charge you to fix it.at that point where they tell you on the phone, either you accept and pay or who knows what they can do with your info.not to recommend.

BROUGHT MY PC BACK TO LIFE.

I usually dont write reviews, and I feel bad for writing a bad review for an independent store, but I was left unhappy with my service.My iPhone screen cracked and I brought it in for a replacement. They told me to come back the next day to pick it up. When I came back, the touch ID did not work (which they repaired on-site). I left happy.The next day, I noticed a crack underneath my screen and lost the ability to touch most of the screen. Apparently they put on a defective screen (well, things happen) so I brought it back. They told me to come back the next day and theyd check with the owner to see if it was covered.I bring it back the next morning (my 4th trip to this store at this point) and they replaced the screen. When I got it back, the home button did not work at all. How can you replace the screen and not give it a basic functional test? When Id picked it up, they told me that the technician who replaced it had already left and Id have to come in the next morning.So, on my 5th trip to the store, I finally pick up my iPhone with a working home button. The touch ID does not work (annoying, but at this point Ill take whatever I can get) and about 33% of the time, when I open it up, the phone does not register my touches correctly and it types the wrong buttons on the keyboard.Everyone in the store was friendly, but this was pretty poor service.
