We love this lowes home improvement store! They always have the best selection of seasonal items along with all of your building and remodeling needs! Their selection of Halloween items this season seems larger than their competition who claims to have the best selection of decor. They definitely have the other store beat this year.Check them out for all of your housing, yard and holiday needs!

Im a DIYer and hobbyist. I appreciate that the staff is always friendly and willing to help. It may be a bit more expensive than some other places, but I like that I can ask questions without catching attitude.

Terrible place to purchase major appliances. I bought a washer on July 19th at this location. Within a month, it began making two separate horrible noises, a screeching upon washer fill and loud rubbing at drain. A quick search on YouTube shows the issues are a missing screw and a belt rubbing-so I called Lowes to find the quickest way to use 12 month repair guarantee-I am given corporate number. The worst experience possible. I have been on the phone for 3 and a half hours with them to be told that I will receive an email in 3-5 days with my next step. No one is able to help and I am now stuck waiting when this issue is clearly not my fault and the consumer shouldnt be stuck in this position trying to fix an issue the store guarantees. This type of guarantee should require no more than a simple phone call and a repairman is on his way soon enough. Not hours on hold, no satisfactory answer and still waiting in the dark. I will not make another major purchase here again, and recommend you consider shopping elsewhere as well.

Spoke with Sean in appliances for about 25 minutes and could not believe the amount of knowledge this guy had about every question I had. Very personable as well. If youre looking into appliances I can not recommend more speaking to this fine gentleman. Perhaps the top customer service experience of my life.

Lowes is such a joke. I brought in an ad from Bomgaars which has 20% off dewalt tools right now. I just wanted them to match the price of 2 tools I just bought. They told me I needed to get all the model numbers and show them online. So I just decided to return. Then they didnt have any cash (which is how I paid) so they had to go to the safe which took well over 20 minutes. And all this the lady at customer service was completely rude! Not just to me but every customer that came in while I was standing there waiting. The picture posted is her! Stay away if you dont want yelled at! I will never return to Lowes

Always a waiting game at this store. Went in to buy appliances at 930am on a Tuesday and no one to assist you. One person working in the area and she called twice for backup.. no one showed up and the person that showed up eventually didnt want to assist me.. he doesnt know anything. If you feel like time is important.. go to another store

Be careful when you order from Lowes. I paid for and was willing to wait for 6 weeks to get our shower door, only to find out on the 5th week that Lowes had issued me a refund. No contact and no apology. They didnt care that I had entered into a contract with someone to install it, or that I would now have only one week to find something else. What is wrong with these people?

Great selection, love the military discount as well. Giving back with things like that make me want to shop here first. Some of the display items are pretty beat up.

This place is pretty nice. I looked at some tools and toolboxes. Their prices seemed high. The people were pretty friendly. I did find some decent socket sets, but not quality name brand sockets. I figured I would just get a flashlight while I was there, but there was a line of people waiting already. I decided it wouldnt be worth the wait for a flashlight. They do have a huge selection of stock though.God bless you all!!

If you want good service go to 50th St West Des Moines location. Kelly at Jordan Creek store is no pleasure to deal with. He didn’t seem to care one way or another.Kelly wouldn’t run items I was buying through qsp and west Des Moines store gladly did it.If you’re a pro and want quality and friendly service this is not the store.

Excellent customer service at this Lowes. The lady working appliances was not only available, but also knowledgeable about the products. Good selection and competitive prices make this our hardware store of choice. I will happily trade an 11% rebate for actual service and organization any day. Thanks Lowes!

They seem more interested in catering to contractors, giving them reserved parking spaces in front of the lumber entrance. Those spaces should be available to everyone.

Average hardware store decently priced big place staff was helpful

I’ve bought 2 craftsman leaf blowers from here and had the first one not even start. The second one the pull cord broke. Upgraded to Stihl and staying with Stihl.

Helpful and kind employees every time I have been. The garden center has an amazing variety right now (mid-May). All sorts of flowers, seeds, trees, shrubs, etc. The plants look healthy.

I bought a pallet of Quikrete for a project at home a couple of weeks ago. After pouring the concrete it was discovered there was an issue. The bags apparently didn’t have enough portland in them to allow them to set up as it should. I stopped by the Store tonight on South Jordon Creek Parkway and was met by two employees, Cody and Pete. They called there manager Todd. These guys know what customer service is all about. After explaining my situation they gladly refunded me for the entire pallet of Quikrete and sent me on my way with an entire new pallet of product. You guys are the best !!!!!

I love Lowes, and in fact most of my stories either begin with, I was at Lowes.... I was coming from Lowes... I was heading to Lowes. The only thing I dislike is that there are zero cashiers, and usually one person at the self-checkout who doesnt even look up from their phone to acknowledge you just shopped there...let alone probably spent hundreds of dollars.

Lowes has a good selection with good prices. This location in particular is conveniently located and has a quality staff.Stores are a little busy the time between Christmas and New Years, but given that there seemed to be plenty of help there. This store, in particular, was not too full of people and there was enough staff to help anyone who needed such.This, of course, is a hardware store. So unless someone is trying to sell you a washer youll have to approach someone for help. When you do, though, theyre always helpful. Checkout was quick and easy with adequate and appropriate safety measures for COVID-19 taken.Prices are always decent. When you can, wait for a good deal as over time essentially everything goes on sale.Ive bought tools, floors, lawn equipment, hardware, and more from Lowes. Most of the time you get what you pay for. Kobalt is a good choice for casual users with a good price. There are many premium and low cost choices as well.

Since I live nearby I have been shopping here over a decade. Lately, customer service has really been disappointing. When I asking for assistance, you get a cold ride response especially in the seasonal area.

Great selection of lighting products. Purchased a large dining fixture from Lowes. When I returned to purchase the companion entryway fixture the dining fixture had been marked down. Lowes refunded the difference without a bit of trouble. Great customer service!

I cant even begin to count the tens of thousands Ive spent at Lowes, but I can definitely say that Todd runs a good ship. The staff are friendly, products are stocked and, unlike some big box retailers, the store is clean. Great location!

This two star rating is for there curbside pick up service. They dont seem to have anyone dedicated to make sure that curbside pick up is done in a timely manner. In the 25 min. I waited for my order, two cart retrieval employes walked by my car twice. I would think if you have employes dedicated to retrieving carts, they could also bring orders to cars. When you have loved ones at home, with underlying conditions, you need to limit your exposure. I can only afford to do business with stores that are willing to help me out. This was my first time trying curbside at the Jordoncreek Lowes, I will give them one more chance, if I have the same experience, I will have to move on to a different store, until we have a vaccine.

Went yesterday for my first time and was spoken to very rudely. My mom, who is a frequent shopper here due to its convenient location, told me it was normal for females to be talked down upon at this store. To avoid a similar encounter, I ordered for pick-up online. I parked in the curbside pick-up spot and called the number over 6 times and couldn’t get ahold of anyone at either pick-up or customer service. Won’t be returning.

The Lowe’s on Mills Civic is fairly close to where I live and always has what I’m looking for. I frequent there often when working on projects around the house. Most recently I was working on a large storage shelving project in the basement. Q and Zach helped me in the wood cutting area. I don’t own a table saw at home so their efforts in the wood cutting area are much appreciated. Q and Zach were both very friendly and they had a comical banter back and fourth that took my mind off the fact that I was waiting for wood to be cut. Another man named Tom came over to assist and though he was quiet it didn’t take away from his warm and customer oriented demeanor. My hat definitely goes off to Q the most. He took the time to help push a cart to the front of the store for checkout and even helped me load the materials into my pickup... wow! Thank you guys and Happy Holidays!

The employees are very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t find what we were looking for and a gentleman doing inventory stopped what he was doing to help us find the aisle we needed. A different employee grabbed a cart for us when he noticed we were grabbing a large item. The guy at the checkout counter was also very friendly. Definitely recommend checking this Lowe’s out for your future purchases.

I tried to go through Lowes Jordan Creek store to get a fence built in my back yard. The contact was unresponsive for weeks at a time, and despite me submitting a signed contract, they never put me on the wait list. I gave up completely after thinking I was in line for over two months. I tried to complain to the manager, and the company emailed me and told me I would hear back within 24 hours. Three days later not a word.

Well, I write this review to express my discomfort with the way I was treated from the beginning, but of necessity I had to endure. When I went to see tractors to cut grass there was an employee who was very rude but I thought: maybe he had a bad day. Well the purchase was made (on credit) I was not informed that I had 30 days to return the item if I was not satisfied, nor was I informed that I could purchase an extended warranty. It took me 10 days to get my very clean mower (husqvarna), etc. The very friendly delivery person explained the operation and operation of it. so far so good. By the way I am a novice at this stage of the purchase. I had a 1600 square foot garden back then, I proudly started my tractor and started mowing the lawn late for around 35 minutes, all perfect. I finished cleaning the tractor and I see behind the wheel a little screen with numbers that I was not sure what it was and I started the tractor again and said: 60. Well, I thought it would be 6.0 or 60 hours? In both cases, I thought that due to the movement or rotation of these articles, these hours were within the normal range and I continued to use my tractor. Always under care and indoors (it was an investment of almost $ 2,000) deserves care. I have used my tractor for 8.9 hours in 1 year, if in 1 year, today it has 68.9 total hours (today I know it was 60 hours) sadly I think they sold me a pre-owned tractor or am I wrong? I take it to where I bought it because the deck became uneven a little and I feel that the tractor has lost a little power, the strip of the cutting blades started to scream, I went with my papers from the tractor to cancel it and a Lord to kindly explain to me that: I should have bought an extended warranty and that the time to return the item for dissatisfaction was 30 days, that they could not do anything, except that I took the tractor to another place to have it checked and that if there was to change parts of the tractor, maybe husqvarna was in charge and that the labor had to be paid by me, please I buy a new tractor and it says in the guarantee that the manufacturer gives 3 years guarantee from end to end Obvious with certain restrictions for misuse I am aware. To finish when you buy items like the one described above, please review well and what happened to me does not happen to you. The truth is very disappointed, I have to say they gave me a 3 year credit to pay, very quick procedure. Please I repeat check your purchases well. Blessings.

Several people less than helpful. I was there to get 2 or 3 items and they would say its an aisle such-and-such and then just stand there they wouldnt offer to take you there to show it to you or anything. Until I got a very helpful man by the name of John who worked in plumbing who is walking past I wasnt even getting a plumbing item. Kudos to John!

I have to admit, for a holiday weekend and a store that was actually quite busy. They had more than enough staff out on the floor to answer peoples questions. It was a pleasant surprise. I was able to walk into three different departments being greeted by an employee each time. All the associates were quite knowledgeable about the obscure things I was looking for. What I thought was going to be a good hour and a half walking around in circles looking for what I needed and not being able to find anyone to help was just the opposite. In and out in less than 40 minutes.

I end up buying blinds for my windows three of them were wrong the guy put them on 3 inches offset I want to talk to the manager they said he’s coming in at 1o’clock I said I’ll come in at one and talk to him she said I don’t know how busy he’s going to be but will try to give you a call and she was very rude

Lowes is my all time favorite store, but Ive never experienced the customer service like I have at this particular Lowes EVER! Everyone is so helpful and really help you find exactly what youre looking for! Gary and Scott in the electronic tools department are amazing and helped me soooo much the other day. Michael helped me locate several different things. I cant even remember the names of all the employees whove helped me all the times Ive been in this store. I ❤ it!!!!!***Updated review***It turns out this Lowes location is even better than I gave it credit for! Todd helped me find a new light bulb for my lava lamp, Zach showed me around the store to help me find what I need easily, and Randy is a total boss that helped me find several other things I needed today! These people have become like family because I just recently moved to WDM and its so difficult to find genuine customer service these days from people who actually care enough to take the time to help you!

We just put a $300 sink fixture back on the shelf and left. We were ignored the whole time, two employees were working on something 2 aisles over, walked up to one and asked for help. He looked me straight in the eye, turned his back, walked away. This is by far the worst Lowe’s. We are done.

Wonderful place where everything has a place and everything is in its place. The staff were friendly and excellent at finding everything we needed despite us not knowing sized or exact names. Would give more stars but the prices are so high. 20+ dollars for a a few small packages of shelf supports seems a little much.

For some reason Lowes does not seem to value and protect their customers from COVID. No sanitizing carts, no sanitzer available to wipe cart yourself, no sanitizing of debit card keypad or register area, etc

Ordered two small items for curbside pickup. I live 1+ hours from store, and was attempting to minimize contact in this COVID-19 hotspot. Arrived at the store three hours after placing order. The signs in the pickup area with the number to text were severely faded and almost impossible to read. When I sent the text that I had arrived for pickup, the only response I got was your orders not ready yet. Not an estimated time, or a well get this out to you, just a terse message basically saying youre business is not important to us.Ok, so I check the email to see if there was an issue with the order and see the following message: Our stores are currently experiencing higher than normal volume. Please wait to receive confirmation that your order is ready to be picked up before heading to the store. Well, l live an hour away, so sitting in the Lowes parking lot hoping to tecieve an email isnt going to work.I begrudgingly decided to go inside. I was immediately helped at the customer service counter by one of the three associates behind the counter as there wasnt anyone else being helped or in line. So much for the were too busy argument.The associate who helped me apologized and told me that they were too busy to pull my order, and she could cancel my order.I look to my left. Nobody.I look to my right. Nobody.She then told me I could go get it myself. With no small level of irritation, I walk 50ft, retrieve the items I ordered and payed for from the shelf, and returned to the customer service counter so they could mark the order complete and I could go about my day having received the exposure I was attempting to avoid.The associate the tells me that I needed to check out at the regular checkout. I says I paid for these online she say That only puts a hold on youre account, and I canceled the order, so youll have to check out through the regular checkout.Steam is about to blow from my ears as I look at the scanner and card reader on the customer service counter in front of me. Without saying anything else, I retrieve my items and head toward the checkout lanes to wait in line with the non-mask-wearing infected masses.The cashier was super pleasant and professional, so I felt bad when the price was $20 more than what Id paid online. She scanned my card again, and the discount still didnt apply. When she tried to explain that the items werent eligible for a discount, I did my best to avoid going full Karen as I asked her to call over a manager.The manager showed up several minutes later and was able to apply the discount. When I explained my frustration with the whole process to her, she apologized, but weve just been so busy today.My observation was that they werent all that busy while I was in the store. I dont think this is an issue with understaffed or overwhelmed employees. I think this has more to do with poor management and/or supervision.Products were great. 5-stars.

Lowes gets rated depending on the day and time. This particular day they get five stars but most of the time they only rate three stars because its difficult to find anyone to help you. It was earlier in the morning today and help was readily available. Lesson learned! I also found the items I needed so that was a big plus.

Flooring department is very disorganized. Have salesman working who do not know how to listen to what the customers want, Writes down incorrect items and then have to wait for quotes to which takes over 2 weeks then when quote comes back is the wrong items. Have been dealing with our carpet quotes since July 7. Took for ever for to have our area measured. Had to keep calling Lowes. Then when was measured took for ever to receive a quote. Have been at the flooring area 2 time and each time took over and hour and half to be waited on, Had picked out the carpet wanting installed and then person could now write down the correct carpet we wanting and in the correct rooms. Now received another call and still the quote is not correct and was asked to come into the store for a third time. Now is this CUSTOMER SERVICE????? NO. Im work in customer service and I have to make sure everything is correct or our customers will not be happy. Not the same at Lowes. Use to shop here all time but in the last year service has went down hill and now shopping more at Menards and Home Depot.

Im reviewing their delivery crew when we purchased 4 new appliances. Everything was delivered with no damage, with very careful maneuvering through our narrow hallways. They explained how the fridge was assembled, they even tucked it into its permanent spot without assembly completed to make sure I was happy with how it fit in the space. They were friendly to talk to, and were sincere in making sure I was happy with how they did. Everything was installed with care, and I couldnt have been happier with the process.
