Dealing with the local agent is great in Brigham City, Utah. Hate dealing with the Farm Bureau system. A lot of mail dominated by legaleze and nonsense. The need to focus more on customer service from the corporate level and provide a means for constructive feedback. Could be great if they would focus more on systems which simplify customer interaction with a lower volume of mail and paperwork. I have to pay postage to respond to questions and input which should be provided for on their website.

2 big storms go through and I lost a 20x 15 section of shingles off my roof. 2 neighboring homes lost no shingles but had edges turned up on some shingles ( neither with Farm Bureau) one other home developed a roof leak (also with Farm Bureau) . The two neighboring homes not insured with Farm Bureau received NEW ROOFS but me with a huge section of shingles missing was told that my roof would be ok with just replacing the missing shingles which would only cost 3600 which was below my deductible. The other Farm Bureau home that was leaking was told a similar thing.Having Farm Bureau is like having no insurance at all. Their adjuster (Matt) was rude and was determined to make sure no one received anything. They also filed it like it was 2 claims which made it impossible for me to find other insurance because I looked high risk. Ive been with them 8 years with zero claims until the storm. I really like my agent and wish he would go independent but I cant stay because of him, I will be leaving .

Accident happen August 24th still waiting..... for the insurance agent Sarah, from Des Moines,just now paid everything off in December on the personal injury shes very rude, offer 250 bucks after rear-end accident with injuries, dont listen to her call her manager s*** changes...

I highly recommend Farm Bureau Insurance personal lines.

This company does not care about their customer. They settle claims without notifying their customer. My husband got in an accident with a cop hauling 8 inmates to transfer them to jail in a van. The cop hit him but wrote in his witness statement that my husband hit him. Very little damage. 6 months later one of the illegal inmates who is still in jail now said his back was injured and got an attorney. That attorney put a claim on our insurance for 100,000 our policy max. The inmate had a previous MRI that showed the injury from 2012. He more than likely has claimed this same injury to someone else. The attorney didn’t even try to go after the state insurance. Now our insurance rates will go up for a no fault accident that was determined by our insurance to be his fault based solely on the cops statement. The cop that came wrote the details only on the accident report. The cop merged into my husband after my husband was in his lane. If you are deciding on insurance look elsewhere they will not have your back.
