I have been dealing with the staff at West Covina Nissan for over a year getting closer to two years. They always do their best to tend to the needs of the customer and what benefits them the most. Im always tended to in a timely manner. Also they havent given me a reason to not act accordingly in a patient and polite manner as they are always seeking to please everyone and make sure we can all walk away content. Nissan of Montclair may be closer to me and more convenient in terms of saving time and, or, gas but my personal experience there has led me to choose West Covina Nissan as my go to place.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE beware of Edward and Sam!Read for more infoWent in to sell my used vehicle with my Kelly blue book offer and after an inspection Edward comes out with his appraisal and offers me 3k below blue book because the car fax showed body damage (it didnt have any)I asked him to bring me the sheet and show me and in comes sales manager Sam.He and Edward role play off their script and apologize as they misread the car fax and Sam proceeds to inspect the vehicle himself and offers now 2k below KBB.I called them out on exactly what they were doing and Sam storms away mad saying I accused him when in fact his own salesman Edward said in front of him that my car was damaged!Moral of the story know your cars facts and dont let these guys scam you into thinking your car is worth less!I took it down the street to norm reeves and low and behold the top tier service over there offered me $200 ABOVE KBB value! Salesman over there said its the first time all week someone has brought something and accurately described its mint conditionI hope that even one person reads this and trusts me to not ever do business with either of these salesmen.Worst part was my appointment wasnt even set with either of them.Unfortunate.

Not only was my car completed in one day (new transmission) I received high end service from Andy Santana. Every time I visit Nissan I request Andy because he makes me feel I am taken care of and explains what my car needs each time. Customer service, quality of care is the #1 reason I continue to come to West Covina. Even when I move to Corona, I will still come to this dealer.

The service tech recommended $3000 worth of parts and services which my car didn’t even need. I took it to an honest auto tech and all he did was change my transmission fluids and carbon filters and called it a day. This place wanted to make unnecessary changes and services just to make a few bucks off a girl who they didn’t think I would go get a second opinion. Really now ?!? #dishonestservice
I would give West Covina Nissan 0 stars if I could. I don’t like to write negative reviews for businesses or people since it impacts people professionally and financially especially now due to covid we’re so many are struggling. Since my experience was so bad I felt like I have no other choice but let others know.I’ve never had a good experience at West Covina Nissan and Normally go to Duarte Nissan but I live so close to west Covina I decided to go to buy out my lease for a year until I could get the Nissan I wanted originally and was unable to due to the low inventory from Covid. I figured this process was pretty straight forward none of your normal haggeling. I told both the sales guy and the finance manager that I only wanted to purchase my car nothing else. I signed all the necessary paperwork and was on my way. Then I got a call a few days later that my loan hadn’t gone through so I went back down to resign. When I received my first statement I was shocked why is the loan 10k more than my original buyout? I looked at both contracts and the numbers on both contracts were completely different. They changed the purchase price of my vehicle overcharged me in sales tax and added a extended warranty, Cila Jet which I had no clue what this was and was never even performed on my vehicle. They also added Gap insurance. I was never asked if I wanted any of these products or I would have declined since I was only planning on keeping the car a year.I called numerous times every time I spoke with the GM and he told me I could not cancel these items leaving me very little hope that anything could be done. I called another Nissan dealership to see if I could cancel these items and they told me yes. WHAT?!? HOW SHADY!!! They encouraged me to call the bank. When I spoke to the bank they told me all these items were cancalable. I find it strange that West Covina couldn’t tell me this. I decided after NO LUCK of trying to reach out by phone to resolve this matter to go in and talk to the finance manager. When I went in they had me wait 3 hours before speaking to him. The finace manager realized after going back n forth that they had ROYALLY MESSED UP. He went to speak to the GM and they said they would cancel the items and have to issue me checks back to me personally. They said they had to check on the Cila Jet though which is CRAZY since they never even performed the service.It’s been a month since they said they would issue the check and still haven’t received the monies owed to me even though I signed cancellation contracts for the items they told me that I was unable to cancel. I have called countless times with no call back and FINALLY spoke to the finance manager he said he put in a check request and would get back to me and didn’t. It’s a check how hard can it be. Btw I’m a senior citizen and a women maybe they figure I’ll just go away??? IDK??Unfortunately now I have to look at what me legal options are. Overcharging is FRAUD…BUYER BEWARE look carefully over your contract to make sure all the numbers add up because my car amount, sales tax, dmv fees and extra items were added. Save yourself a nightmare and GO TO DUARTE to buy your Nissan!!!This Trophy Nissan gets a Trophy for SUCKING!!!
I will NOT recommend this place to anyone. If anything find another Nissan place or go to one of your local mechanics. I paid $900 for them to fix something on my car the parts was only $400 and labor was $500 to only find myself coming back 3x for the same problem. The customer service is horrible. They lie to you about the time,the problems and when you ask them information it’s like they don’t even know the answers to your questions. Don’t waste your time,patience or money
Had an appointment to come in for a car for days, drove 2 hours to get here. Upon arriving, after waiting almost 45 minutes, I was told the vehicle Had a bent wheel and couldnt pass smog, so I could not see the vehicle. Very shady and untrustworthy, I wouldnt do business with these guys.
Terrible experience. I bought a car here around May, and havent even received my license plate yet! Also, I was promised that the car would be detailed before I took it off the lot, but nothing was cleaned. Very bad.

Worst place to buy a car. First they lied to you and tell you that they will help you buy a car. They made me drive all the way to West Covina for nothing. I wasted my gas and time going there. On top of that they kept my ID. They said that they will mail it back to me and it’s been 2 weeks and nothing. Now I’m calling them and they don’t answer my calls or transfer me to a manager which their voicemail is full. PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT BUT CARA FROM THEM. It’s very frustrating calling them and they don’t respond. I’m glad that I didn’t purchase a vehicle with them.

I got a used car at the end of February from this dealership through a program they have with Fair app. They were supposed to do all the paperwork and they gave me temporary tags. After two and half months I still didn’t have my plates so I tried to contact them - I must have called 20 times in a week or so and could never get through anyone in the finance department-I left messages, I begged them to give me an update and nothing. My plates are expiring next week so I cannot drive and no words from Nissan West Covina or no loaner car for the time being. Just the worst / non-existent customer service ever - do not get your car her!

The sales department is great. However, the service department is horrendous! Ive had many problems with them. For example, my car battery died written on the battery for 5 years warranty. They wouldnt honor the warranty because I bought the car and not the battery??? Another time they fixed my car and less than 5 minutes later the same problem came up. I lost a days pay because they didnt fix it the 1st time. On yet another experience I needed new brakes and asked for a price quote over the phone 1 said 600 another said 400. On the day of the guy said 750 but he was going to work with me and give me a discount it was 400. Half the time they dont call to tell you your car is ready. So I call and they give me the same lame excuse oh I was actually just about to call you.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. If I could give less than 1 star I would. These people are scammers and only care about making a sale. I WILL ADVISE ANY AND ALL TO GO OUT OF YOUR WAY AND BUY FROM ANYONE ELSE BESIDES TROPHY NISSAN DEALERSHIPS!

Wife bought a car, they maxed out her loan amount over their own sticker price. Fast forward two years, we’re trying to cancel the warranty after loss of the vehicle. It’s been over a month since the papers were signed. I called the warranty company and they said they never received the cancellation. Call and no one answers. No managers pick up their lines. No one answers in financing. Lazy and shady.Edit replying to the business’ response : So would I, but no one answers the phones or returns calls.Update: still no callbacks, drive two hours down there and they say they sent it in last week, that’s it’s the warranty company dragging their feet. Sending something in over a month later and blaming someone else. Integrity at its finest. Also thanks for wasting my time to drive down by never answering the phone or returning three voicemails and two hand written notes handed off by the extremely overlooked secretaries.Update: so the original request to cancel the warranty was in early-mid October? Yeah still no check on Jan 11. After they dragged their feet the check was sent to them on Dec. 28. No notifications, no call backs, the account is in collections now. Pepe in financing is lazy or a liar. Can’t get either the financing department or a manager on the phone or to return a phone call. Next step is small claims court, I guess.
Saul Murillo was the best sales manager I have ever had on record. I have owned 56 cars in my lifetime so I have been in a few car showrooms. Saul was informed. He was interested in our business but not pushy. When we first met him, he acted as if we were important to him and to the dealership, but not aggressive. We had just come from an unpleasant experience at a RAM dealership, so meeting Saul was amazing. He continually kept us updated during the sales experience as to where we were with financing, getting the car ready and any other details. For once, I finally found a salesman who KNOWS the product he is selling. I told Saul and I meant it I WILL send business his way!

I did buy my current pre-owned vehicle 1 month ago, first I went there with cash and state grant so it’s basically a cash deal, what they did was really weird, they did run my credit score report causing a (hard inquiry) without my knowledge, then they gave me the credit inquiry form to sign!!! Extreme poor handling! They could just call the grant office and make sure this is a valid grant however they didn’t and toke the easy way to ruin my credit score! Second point, 7 days after the transaction I’ve asked ROBERT “the sales man who closed my deal” about when was the last time they changed the oil for the vehicle but unfortunately he totally ignored my 5 phone call and voice messages!!!POORLY MANAGED DEALER I WOULD NEVER GO BACK!!

Me and my husband had a real bad experience here, the sales man and his boss were trying to get us to get a car me and my husband did not want. And we we kept trying to leave and they wouldn’t allow us and they kept my husbands ID trying to make us stay. They are not trying to help anyone .

This place lacks honesty... I got a very high APR rate with a very good credit score, next year I was promised a lower rate, they didn’t keep their promise, by the warranty program I requested a new transmission install, they didn’t provide any paper of a new transmission change, after 10000 miles I have the same problems which means they just repaired the old one, after first couple of scheduled servicing my tires were swapped from Continental with unbranded ones Atlas. The plastic covers under the car are being left loose after every service. The communication and customer attention is fine but that’s not we are there for.
IF you buy a car here get everything in writing & BRING AN ATTORNEY! because once they have your money and you want them to finish what they started the last 2 free oil changes that were promised and got 1done already. NOW there always to busy to call you back or out of townim taking to you SUZIE! to explain what the issue is. This is the way a child behaves cant fess up in person so you hide....pathetic!No way to do business!

I went to get one of our vehicles serviced a week and a half ago for regular oil change. That was taken care of and I returned home. All was good, until my wife went to use the vehicle the following day. She stated that the car had no power and everything was off. I checked the battery and it was low in voltage. I set up an appointment with West Covina Nissan to have it checked out. Andy Santana and his awesome crew of mechanics went and resolved the issue--the battery was bad. Less than an hour later, I was able to return home with peace of mind. I really appreciate Andy Santanas efforts to get the matter taken care of quickly. Since buying our vehicle at West Covina Nissan my wife and I have had only positive interactions with its staff. Thanks for friendly and prompt service.

I have been going to West Covina Nissan since I purchased my car from the same dealership in 2016. Since then, service has continued to get worse. On my last visit on 9/10/20 I was convinced to get some maintenance on my car (just got to 50k miles) and I agreed to 1 additional item at $125 and declined another costing $130.After an hour, I got a call urging to do that additional repair after they got a closer look. I agreed but they quickly tried to lump in ANOTHER service and failed to acknowledge how much it would cost. I assumed my bill would be $250 after agreeing to the additional service....it wasnt until the end when I paid, that I was hit with a bill of $560. I explained to the cashier that I was never told this price and its pretty careless to not provide any of this information up front. I got nothing but shrugs and a lack of empathy or care to even do better next time.Im truly disappointed in this company that Ive continued to trust service after service.
With all truth I received my car from service later than I was told I would.
Worst Dealership and Service. Have purchased 4 vehicles from this dealership and always had them serviced here as well. I will no longer use Trophy West Covina Nissan. They broke my driver’s side window of my Pathfinder during a routine oil change service and refused to fix it. I have contacted Nissan Corporate, but they are of no help. They say since this is an independent dealership they can’t compel them to replace my window. They requested that the dealership contact me to resolve the issue, but nobody from the dealership has called me and they won’t return my calls. Neither the Sales nor the Service departments can be trusted.9/25/2020-Typical response from dealership-no offer of help. I guess small claims is my only option since they deleted their response to my review.
Service staff is very nice. Definitely brings the small town, local service vibe to a big franchise which is definitely unexpected but absolutely appreciated. Its a pretty high level of service and attention to detail you get here too at the service which I appreciate. Sales associates are also nice, Perlla was great to work with.

Although the results of an AC compressor installation, brakes installation, and oil change seem to holding up well, the professionalism of the service was far below par. After dropping my car off very early in the morning, my repair order took the service team the entire working day to complete, of which I did not receive any updates, check-ins, or recommendations while I was waiting the 11+ hours for completion. I cannot discern any advantage or benefit of utilizing Nissan Services for repairs, and the premium price surely does not include a courteous, prompt, and professional service team. The entire Nissan experience reflected a poorly developed business ethos which caters to the indifference of their profit margins rather than ensuring and protecting a loyal business-customer relationship. I sincerely wish there was more pride in Nissans ethics, especially when their prices far exceed the quality of service. I would not recommend Nissan auto and their products for any future consideration.

Waited 3 hours for an oil change. I was suppose to have a free detail service done on my car as well and it was not done. I had to ask after waiting 2 hours if my car was done being serviced and it was not. I waited another hour until the oil change was completed. Not satisfied with the service. I understand they were busy, but they neglected to keep me updated and did not complete the service.
Went to get my car checked out and asked if they could see any issues with it and I was recommended to do certain services to my car and did but they missed some of them and now I have to deal with the headache myself when they could’ve been taking care of right then and there. But besides that it was good.
They were phenomenal. Maya has greeted us every time and her warm smile and pleasing attitude makes us feel like family. Jose helped us out and was very informative and explained everything clearly. Andy has helped us out in the past and his cheery persona and helpful jurisdiction has made us feel welcome and at home.
I purchased a car from Jerry and he was very helpful to make the experience a positive one! I needed to purchase a new car quickly because my old one had been in an accident. He was super helpful and went out of his way to make sure I was able to get in and out of the dealership as quick as possible! He even went out of his way to deliver some weather matts because I couldnt get to the dealership before it closed. I would definitely recommend West Covina Nissan to a friend in the future.
The staff primarily Ricardo and Mike tried their best and maintained patience. As a customer those quality is extremely important to see and experience. We all go through life in different form. Ensuring the customer that they are comfortable and ensuring them that all alternative possibility is be explored is a form of comfort that the customer can ask for. Mike and Ricardo are extremely friendly and worked hard. They are good people.
I came in for regular maintenance oil change and asked for one simple thing which was check the tire pressure because rear driver side was marking higher. I come back two hours later and the psi was the same. It’s extremely annoying to have to take time out of your work day and ask for one simple thing that should be regulatory with a PRE-PAID MAINTENANCE PLAN. Last time I came they let me drive off with a damn NAIL in my tire and I had to come back for a patch because they were “toooooo busy” (even with an appointment) to patch it the first time- Completely OBSURD!
They have given me great service every time. Had issues with my credit card. A loner was presented to me until the next day. Much appreciated 😀
I responded to an add and set up an appointment. I received a call an hour before my appointment to confirm, and I did. I drove 30 miles and when I arrived I was told the truck had sold the previous day. Thats deceptive. They offered to show me other vehicles but at this point they had already destroyed their trustworthiness. Avoid this place, and dont believe them or their ads!
