I called over a dozen septic service companies in a panic and J Gallagher was the only company to call me back the same day, within the hour no less. He was kind enough to take time to walk me through and troubleshoot my issue over the phone. He called me back and ensured the issue was resolved, would not take payment. There is no other septic company we would use or recommend except J Gallagher. Service the old fashioned way, total quality shop.

Have used J. Gallgher in the past a felt their service and response was good. Pricing was reasonable for services provided until recent repair. Cost completely shocked me for work and time it took to complete. After lifting lid on pumping chamber to look at work, concerned about what looks like minimal purple tape used to hold wiring and the pole used for the float that was replaced. Thought I would see a better taping process or zip ties used. They also indicated that they were going to pump sludge from bottom of pumping chamber. Still appears to be sludge in the tank.Do yourself a favor get multiple estimates to make sure repair cost is in line. Not pleased at all with repair.

Our sewer pipe was backed up on a Friday. We called in utter desperation because we have 7 people in our family. We left numerous messages for the owner. He said he would come out ASAP. That ended up being 3 days later. On the phone, he was a jerk. In person, he was a jerk. He fixed the issue initially. Now we are having issues again 6 months later.

Gallagher Septic has been doing the work on our property for 20 plus years. They are 100% on time, responsive in emergency and way to inexpensive especially for the quality of service.

I was very disappointed with our experience with Jim Gallagher. We were introduced to his company upon selling our home, and most of our experience with him revolved around his need to be paid prior to the job being done. The situation was hostile from the start, and if we werent pressed for time by our pending closing, we would have gone elsewhere. Jim will hold the septic permit hostage to force final payment, which is prior to the work being done.....literally trenches still in the ground. Without the permit, a new homeowner cannot get a mortgage. This didnt happen to us, as I made it a point to be there with the Health Dept Sewage Officer. This permit was, of course, paid for directly to the County by us as the property owner. I would highly recommend that anyone run from this vendor. Added stress at an already stressful time.
