Well, I was nervous to add my experience by the owners combative responses below. I am not surprised this small business is now closed. I felt extremely bad for the employees regularly belittled in front of clients by the owner herself. She openly talked down about one of the employees on welfare and had no problem exposing personal information to the entire shop for their opinions.

I love this salon! When I first went to get my nails done there the staff was super friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. The setting is very professional and friendly. The owner is super sweet and hired the most amazing people. This salon is my top choice! Amazing nails and hair for not a lot of money. Can’t wait for my next appointment ❤️

My first time visiting this location. The stylist were all very friendly and talented. The owner of this establishment seemed to be friendly & personable to the more mature affluent clientele and chose not to engage with me. I was not greeted with a hello like the other clients or thanked for my business when exiting. I wasn’t invited to come back...nothing...I spent roughly 3 hours at this salon and I was the only customer she did not speak to. Maybe it was because I chose to wear flip flops and a sweatshirt and she is uncomfortable with interactions with all walks of life...or maybe it was because I displayed a little more culture than she is used to. I could speculate all day long but there really is no reason to do so. In my opinion she runs her business in a tasteless fashion. I did however enjoy the staff she has working there and If I could give this lady a piece of advice, I would advise her to treat all clients the way she would want to be treated ..You get more bees with honey! Truly disappointed. Thank you Belinda, Joey & Brooke for showing the hospitality the owner lacked. And thank you all for leading by example and showing great work ethic under poor ownership. You guys are the real MVP!!!!!

I LOVED ooh la la salon. The decor is gorgeous and regal with purple everywhere and the amazing pedicure thrones for for a queen. The location is great, right downtown (no designated parking just FYI). But what made my visit amazing was going to see Joey. Joey did an amazing blowout on my hair and made my visit unforgettable. Joey was so delicate with my hair, you could tell that it was really being taken seriously. My hair looked great and I just felt so welcomed with the conversation. I found a great stylist in Joey and I can’t wait to return.

Amazing service - there was a mix up with the appointment but they worked together and fit me in. Had a great shampoo then the stylist (Joey) gently combed and trimmed my silver hair. It had been years since I had my hair cut and before I left the salon - I made another appointment.The shop has a cool, retro vibe, without taking itself too seriously.Im looking forward to my next visit.

Very accommodating with my appointment. I needed an out of town updo and make up for my son’s wedding. Relieved they were able to see me!The salon is friendly and beautiful. Was a great way to start the big day! Thank you Ooh La la!

Theresa is so sweet and creative! Her shop is absolutely lovely. It’s clean, bright and filled with the prettiest antique furniture cleverly repurposed for a hair salon. With great frontage on Church Street and easy access to parking, it’s a great place to be pampered. 🥰

Without a doubt the best pedicure in Chester County. I also love my dip manicure with Theresa. The ambiance of the salon is both interesting and relaxing. Highly recommend OohLaLa.As a resident of West Chester borough, walking to OohLaLa he’s a real treat.

I work close to this nail and hair salon so I occasionally pop in for a service. They are clean and kind and the polish is somehow glossier then other places I’ve been to. I also feel like the things they use on my feet are sterilized and I leave feeling good about my service. They are hard workers so I say call ahead so you definitely get an appointment. Then if you like it just get a reoccurring appointment- it’s so much easier then trying to get squeezed in. I also ask my husband to get me a gift certificate for mother’s day and Christmas- that way I don’t feel like I’m spending money:) p.s. somehow the pedicure chairs are more comfortable here ( I could sleep in them!)

This salon is wonderful! I took a group of senior residents here on a Wednesdsy morning. Even though we didnt have an appointment, the ladies at the salon made sure to fit us in and make us comfortable. Such an easy and enjoyable experience. We plan to come back many times in the future!

New to Chester County I asked my neighbor with fabulous nails where she got them done. She referred me to Ooh La La.Amanda, Colleen and Theresa are all excellent nail technicians and Amanda and Colleen are also stylists.I have natural nails and they are thin and they tend to break easily. I didn’t do well with gel or acrylic so I wanted a salon that could provide services for natural nails. My nails have never been healthier or stronger.Now my friends are asking me where I get my nails done! They can’t believe the polish stays on with natural nails for more than a few days and it always looks great.Luci

I had a great Blow Out at Ooh La La Salon. Belinda does amazing work and was so friendly! The salon is so clean and cutely decorated. They have complimentary coffee and snacks which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality hair styles and nail services!

I visited first time for a classic manicure. Didn’t feel like they were professional or trained well in the services. They couldn’t even shape my nails well. The polish started chipping after an hour despite me taking more than enough time to dry it. The whole environment is casual. Disappointed.

Had a wonderful experience at the Ooh la la salon! Everyone was so kind and welcoming! Did a great job on my manicure and pedicure! Definitely recommend this salon to everyone and anyone!

Amanda is a highly skilled cosmetologist. She is helping me rehab my nails. She performed a dip gel nail service and my nails look incredible! I am so happy she had the patience to work with me. The entire staff is Pleasant and professional!

I love this Salon. The service is very professional yet, best of all, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and patient! My nails and toes look fantastic since Theresa has used her skills on them. My husband was so impressed that he started getting a pedicure...a first for this senior citizen.

I was initially unhappy with my nails but Theresa the owner contacted me and offered to redo my nails. She was so sweet and professional and I really appreciated it. My nails look great and I am very happy with the out come!

Just got a blow dry and walked out of the salon, worst blow dry styling I have ever done in a salon. In fact I can do better at home. Not sure where all the great reviews are coming from.To the business owner, your response below reflects the experience i had at your salon. Zero interest in finding what prompted a customer to have a less than great experience and a comment on my other reviews, says something about your attitude! No need for the direction to find another salon. I live in west chester and have already found other establishments with much better attitude towards customers than the one below! Folks, please read the business owners response below twice before booking your appointment.

Went to Ooh La La with a bridal party and had an amazing experience. Theresa and the girls were friendly and professional and the place is beautiful with a feeling that you will be pampered. Theresa even brought us snacks and took so much extra care with a full set of nails for me.

This is a great nail salon at West Chester. The environment is great and the nail technician is very friendly to us.

I had an appointment for 2/20 and I was called the day before stating they may be closing due to the weather and my waxer would alert me of a cancellation. We agreed that I would call the day of to check and my waxer would alert me. Well I got no word of anything so I called a total of 6 times and left a message about an hour before my appointment. Received no word if it was cancelled or still booked. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of communication I received from the business since I was anticipating my waxer to alert me... update: they called and my waxer messaged me offering a solution to the miscommunications
