I’ve been going to Zazen for over 5 years now. From a quick fix to a broken nail to a bridal party getting our nails done together before my best friends big day, they have always provided terrific service. I recently started getting my lash extensions done and they do not disappoint! I constantly recommend Zazen to my friends and peers at work. I started getting my lashes done by Tracy about 2 years ago & I will NEVER go anywhere else! Every 2 weeks I see her & she does the most gorgeous job on my lashes! It’s so relaxing & enjoyable. Now, my mom, sister & mother in law all go to Tracy! We love her!

Second great experience at Zazen for a gel manicure and pedicure. The salon is very clean and following all going above and beyond to ensure all COVID protocols are followed. The technician I had was very professional and kind. Parking is a bit difficult, but I was able to park in the garage which is a close walk. Will definitely continue to go back!

I got my brows micro bladed for the second time. The first time I got them done with Tien almost 3 years ago. This time around I got them done with Christina, both times I had a great experience. The atmosphere only got better, super refreshing to get service and actually feel appreciated. Christina has such a relaxing and chill vibe. She was great! The salon was super clean and peaceful. I won’t get my brows done anywhere else. I will happily drive almost two hours to get serviced here! Awesome team!

I took the classic eyelash extension certification and was blown away by the professionalism and knowledge Tien and her master lash artist, Tracy, had. The class was kept to only 4 people, allowing plenty of one on one time to ask any questions and thoroughly go over what we were learning. The amount of material and support post course is also very impressive, I feel confident enough to lash but also have access to plenty of resources to help with any questions I have. I am very happy with my choice and hope to be back in the near future for the microblading course!

I have been going to Zazen for a number of years. I drive almost an hour each way to go there as I live in Upper Bucks County. The care and services received there far outweigh any I’ve experienced local to me. Every time I visit the salon I am greeted by a caring staff and clean environment. They are always on time, no waiting, which is rare! My nails always look great. The last time I was in I put a shoe on too soon after having my pedicure and they very graciously fit me and quickly fixed the problem. Better service than I have had anywhere else in town.

I live out of state, and I visited Zazen to get my eyebrows micro-bladed. The staff is very professional and personable! They were very detailed and took their time, I did not feel rushed at all. The place is beautiful, quiet, and friendly. During my few appointments with my mixed adopted family, I noticed their massage would be longer and the service were quicker than I. Experiencing this 4 or 5x’s my family and I decided to drive 20 minutes away so we all can feel comfortable being pampered on our bi-weekly sister get together.

Staff and nail techs are very welcoming and do a great job in all services offered paying attention to detail and ensuring guests are comfortable and satisfied! Space is very clean, bright and inviting.What would make this place six stars would be having more techs available and comfortable with nail designs.Overall, had a great experience and still would come back. I have been a loyal Zazen customer since the week they opened their business. The owners, Tien and Chris are two of the hardest working individuals I have ever met! They have built a wonderful business from the ground up and it’s just what the borough of West Chester needed!!I have gotten gel manicures, pedicures, waxing, eye brow tinting and shaping as well as facials over the last ten years! I have since moved away from West Chester and still commute to my favorite nail bar every few weeks even though it’s 45 minutes away! I will never choose another establishment to frequent. Their salon is top notch, clean, friendly, helpful with attentive staff. They are accommodating as well as diligently taking every precaution with the recent pandemic. Really appreciate that Zazen takes cleanliness seriously especially during this time. Appointments are carefully scheduled as to not crowd the salon, which also allows customers to have a more relaxing, intimate pampering time. Every time I go to Zazen, I leave happy, relaxed and refreshed. I am always pleasantly greeted and everyone is always happy to see you. My technician was so sweet, made me feel relaxed and I was so pleased when I left with my beautiful pedicure. The staff always makes you feel at home. I went to get a manicure, pedicure, and to get my eyebrows waxed. I asked to get tip added on to my nails and was told that tips are not a service provided at the salon. I wish it would have been stated on the website as I have somewhere to be tomorrow and would have booked somewhere where I would have been able to get all the services I wanted. I have never heard of a nail salon not offering tips as a service. I have had tips added with dip and with gel nails which is why I was surprised it was not available at the salon. It is okay, I went on a recommendation from a friend and will not be returning.

I was nervous and excited for this signing up for the lash course. From the beginning when I entered my information to request info about the course I promptly received a text with all information. Chris was so helpful with answer any questions I had and replied promptly. When I arrived to class I was greeted by Skylar and he is great, provide great information and real life examples. Tien arrived and I loved that she also provided good information. The class was not at all boring we went and did hands on. I love the one on one rotating with both the instructors. Everyone was GREAT! I’m excited for this new journey and highly recommend this course!

Everyone at the salon was very nice and welcoming. I went here to get a lash lift and tint. Not super impressed with how they turned out. I have straight eyelashes so they have no curl to them. They are also quite long. When she curled them they went completely curled back so now my eyelashes don’t look uplifted they look short and over curled. Almost like a c shape so they go in towards my crease as opposed to being lifted. Dissapointed because it’s not cheap to get this done. No complaints with the customer service it’s just that they did not perform the lift properly.

I have been getting my eyelash extensions at zazen for almost a year and I am very happy with their service! Tracey is my eyelash tech and she is amazing. She is very thorough with her application from cleaning my lashes prior to applying it and making sure that glue doesn’t get in any contact with my eyes (I have gone to some other places and the glue had left my eyes burning. ) the ladies there are very professional and accommodating!! The staff are always training and learning the latest techniques in the industry. If you are looking for a place that is up to date and knowledgeable about their work, I highly recommend!!

Amazing experience! I had a 9:00am appointment for a lash lift and pedicure, they saw me right away! The salon was clean and beautifully decorated! I was offered a blanket during my lash lift and reassured constantly during the process. During my pedicure I was offered a drink which I happily accepted! The staff was friendly and personable! I will definitely be going back!

I went to a class at Zazen to learn lash extensions. I found it very informative and definitely worth the money. The instructors were beyond helpful and the fact that you are also able to refresh for free is amazing and unheard of. We also get a discount for supplies whenever we need to stock up. Now it’s off to practice practice practice..

Just home from a morning of having my brows micro bladed by stylist extrodinaire, Lindsay. I am completely happy with the results . The premises are immaculate and Lindsay put me at ease with her professionalism and thoroughness. Did I say I was completely happy ? That doesnt quite cover it - Im actually beyond delighted that a morning of very minor discomfort gets rid of my sparse brows and years of filling in . Ive had to draw my eyebrows on for quite some time due to thinning. It took so much time when you added it up 7 days a week. I came to Zazen and Ana performed magic! I was so pleased to be able to wake up and not have to spend any time on my brows. I had both shadding and strokes. I just came back for my touch up! So excited!!! Go see Ana!!! Highly recommend!!!

The Lash Extension Training is very informative. The hosts spent time with each individual giving attentive instruction throughout the hands on portion. I came knowing nothing and left armed with the theory and supplies to begin practicing!

I recently got a French gel manicure for a wedding I was in. The initial job looked great, but later that night at the rehearsal dinner the tips started to have a brownish tint to them. By the next morning (day of wedding) there was a red tint covering ALL of my nails. I went back the following day and was VERY displeased by the service. Not only did the workers try to make it seem as though it was MY fault for the red coloring but they offered to take the gel off and redo them....but as I was about to leave they CHARGED me another $25 on top of the initial cost. (Here I thought I was getting a refund!) I will not go back here again! I have gotten PLENTY of gel manicures and this has never happened to me, and I know for a FACT I did nothing for this to happen. And to be accused of this, when it easily could have just been a faulty polish is awful customer service!I see there has been a reply. To make things CLEAR I did not receive a spray tan before or after getting my nails done and my makeup was already done for the day before I got my nails done. My point has only been proven further by your response to once again place the blame on me. No need for a further response!

I participated in the lash training this past Sunday and it was a great experience. The instructors were professional and top notch. Everything was scaliness throughly and there was always room for questions. I would highly recommend.

I took a class in February to get certified for eyelash extensions. Tien and Skylar were great. Very down to earth and hands on with the class. I feel that for a place that advertises as a spa it does NOT present that way. Television is tacky, nail bar makes you feel like a number - next.... the girl that work there are nice enough but the atmosphere in general is flat. However, my nails did look lovely. Even so, if I’m paying spa prices I want a spa atmosphere.

Worth every penny! Best Lash Instructor at all times. I took both classic and volume classes. Iv learned so much, Tien taught me ways on how to lash and how to build clientele’s. I recommend Zazen to get lash certified!

Nice comfortable ambiance. There is a nail bars, pedicure area, and beds for lash and brow services. I am very pleased with the lash extensions and brows microblading services that I have received. You can be kept warm with blankets if youd like. The staff is very friendly.

I recently took their lash training class, and I did enjoy myself. I thought both the trainers were very experienced and knowledgeable.

I got my eyebrows touched up after having them microbladed a little more than a year ago. They didn’t even look like I needed a touch up but wanted to take advantage of a little touch up before my wedding. Ive been obsessed with my eyebrows since I got them done, Zazen salon is amazing. Tien is amazing, Id highly recommend them to anyone! Best decision Ive made! My eyebrows look just as good as day one.

I’ve gotten my lashes done by numerous lash techs around Delaware in the past, but I just recently got volume lashes done at Zazen and I am OBSESSED! Naturally, my lashes are very short and sparse but Zazen brought my lashes to life! Also, fortunately my real lashes are still healthy and not falling out like other places I’ve been. They definitely made a loyal customer out of me. Although I live in Delaware, the drive to get my nails and now lashes done at Zazen is so worth it. Thanks Zazen!

Staff was very kind. I had pedicure and manicure. 2nd day my nail polish peeled and 3rd day my cuticles came back. I didn’t write a comment until today. They sent me a message to score and I responded than they asked me why did my score is low. I explained the reason of my score and they responded to me “Got it. Zazen is such a nice salon so clean and professional, I got powder brows done by Tien, she suggested the powder brows for me which is like microblading but looks more filled in and I am obsessed! She did such a good job, made sure every little detail was perfect, and they look amazing i couldn’t be happier.

I took the classic lash extension course at Zazen and I loved it! Tien has many certifications of her own so I knew I was learning from someone who knows what they are doing! I learned everything I needed to know to do a healthy set of extensions and felt confident doing them. She also offers on going help (no cut off) and i think that’s amazing! She offers free refresher classes and has a Facebook group for all of her former students in case we need help with anything.

They were so kind and took excellent care of me. I will definitely be returning.

I started off going to this nail salon because I lived right across the street. I now live almost 30 minutes away and I will still only come here! I will not let anyone else wax my eyebrows besides them. The atmosphere is so nice and the girls are always very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a nice spot for a bridal party or group event too!

Ive taken the classic lash and microblading course with Zazen West Chester. Both courses exceeded my expectations. Tien is a wonderful instructor for both lashes and microblading and her support staff were beyond helpful. If you want a thorough class with patient and knowledgeable instructors look no further. I left both classes with the knowledge, skills, confidence and on going support to get my business up and running. They also provide marketing help which was an unexpected bonus. After doing research on finding a good place to get certified, I chose them, not only are they affordable, but they also are very dedicated in training other lash artists! We went through the theory, which our booklet has most of the information they cover so we don’t get lost, it’s not fast paced and it’s a small group of people. Friendly staff but I honestly think their attention to detail is off. They don’t spend enough time on pedicures. I feel they are rushed and maybe it’s due to over booking. There are better places in the area to get a good mani/pedi.

Due to cancer treatment I had lost all my eyebrows and just couldn’t handle not having any brows any more. I finally decided to get them microbladed by Ana at Zazen. She was amazing, for the initial session we did just microblading and they turned amazing. For the follow up, since I have really oily skin, we decided on microblading and shading. I love my eyebrows now. Ana was awesome, she explained the whole process, went over the shape and the color with me during both sessions. I highly recommend her and will be seeing her next year for a touch up!!! Thank you Ana !!! 😀😀

Theyve always done a great job on my nails and the staff is super nice. They definitely take their time on your nails to make sure everything looks good. An added plus is that the place always smells good and not like chemicals.

HIDE YOUR DESIGNER GOODS, LADIES! I have never taken the time to write a bad review before, but I couldnt let this go unheard. I was appalled by the negligence of my nail technician. In the middle of my nail appointment I noticed a white circle on my brand new Balenciaga wallet, that was not there prior to my appointment. I brought it to my girlfriends attention, who was sitting to my left, the nail technician asked what was on it, and I responded it could possibly be nail polish ( I wasn’t sure, all I knew was it was not there prior). Carelessly, the nail technician reached across the nail bar and quickly rubbed my wallet with acetone, WITHOUT PERMISSION. I looked at it in disbelief and in fury, asking myself who in their right mind would rub ACETONE on a CLIENT’S metallic pink Balenciaga wallet. I understand the nail technician was just trying to help, but sadly she just ruined my brand new Balenciaga. After saving for months for this wallet, I was hoping the nail salon would be held accountable for their actions and attempt to make things right, but after speaking with both the manager and the owner they refuse to do anything. I walked out and later after calling numerous times they decided they would give me a refund for my nails but would do nothing for the wallet that their technician ruined. I will not be retuning to say the least.
