These guys are great! They helped me get an old Jeep that needed a good bit of work back on the road for a reasonable price and did it really quickly. They even worked with the body shop next door to take care of some issues so I didn’t have to do that separately. I’ll definitely be going back for future service.

This place is a hidden gem. I lived in the area for a while. I went to a lot of the local chains before I got this place as a recommendation. The Customer service is top notch every time you call or come in person. When I moved down south they called and asked about how the car was doing several times. Whenever, I visit the area I make an appointment to have my car checked out. I am a forever customer.

West Chester Foreign Auto is the best shop I have found for domestic or foreign cars. They have done top notch work on my Range Rover, BMW Z4 and my Toyota Camry. Their pricing is well below the dealerships in the area and they don’t push extra unnecessary services like many of the other repair shops. I am really happy with their work and the staffs friendliness.

I had my car inspected here yesterday- thankfully it passed!They offered to polish my headlight lenses for a very reasonable price.The location is a bit hidden away, but I work nearby and was able to drop my car and walk to work. I used to go to Obriens on Bolmar St. and they closed 5 years back. Since then I have had trouble finding a fair shop that does good work but I think I finally have a home at West Chester Foreign Auto. The most recent thing I had them do was precision engine work and they did the job well, with add on work priced fairly and only where necessary. Ive had work done on my two cars cars & so far they treated my girlfriend well too and didnt try and take her for a ride. I came to hear of the place through extended family who also bring their cars there so Im glad they live up to the positive reputation Ive heard from others in my circle. Thanks fellas!

My car was towed there and they could have charged me anything for the repair. They ended up doing a great job and they were the cheapest I researched by far.I highly recommend them to everyone I know. They are very nice and they do great work.

Very unhappy - 3 month ordeal with my 1989 BMW 535i - first repair attempt for my transmission was a little pricey, but I thought it would be worth it. After keeping my car for over a month I found that they had not yet ordered all the parts needed to repair. I gave them an additional $1,000 deposit on good faith, and then after ANOTHER two weeks they returned my car with a pure USED transmission, not REFURBISHED like promised.I took car back after 1 week of continued problems and they then told me that it was probably my wheel bearings -- I was not sure, but paid them ANOTHER $1,250 anyway. STILL NOT FIXED. I had to get my car back, unfinished, with poor quality parts installed. I will be filing a police report against them next unless they refund my deposit on work not done.

Told him what the problem was or what I thought it was got the car to him told me I was right found me a great deal used trans with a warranty and within a couple days fixed it altogether my car was there for maybe less than a week. I had a Toyota Land Cruiser there for an inspection, and they said they found a problem with my exhaust system. They ended up charging me over $4,500 after first quoting me $750 for a muffler. They did work that I did not authorize, and after paying them I found out that what work they DID do should only have cost half as much. When I called for an explanation, the person on the phone was very rude to me and was pretty much laughing at me saying I dont care, you already payed. DO NOT USE!

Originally, I had planned to transport it out of state for repairs. However, when I met the automotive team at WCFAR, I realized my car was in great hands., so I left it to their foreign car expertise.Pete and the other mechanicanics are very honest, knowledgeable, and customer-focused, They are doing a great job rebuilding the engine and helping me fix my Daddy’s dream car, so we can drive it again.As a female, cars are not my forte. I used West Chester Foreign Car Service for the first time on Monday. I had been referred by a couple of friends. I called up to make an appointment for an inspection the friday before and told Scott I had to go out of town Monday asap. He was able to work me in first thing Monday morning and got me on my way. They also charge on the lower end for State Inspection, I think $55. Ill be hitting them up in the future!

Scammed me for $6600 in labor that was literally never done. Sold my box truck to them, signed the title in good faith, and then was never paid. In total iv lost tens of thousands with these con men. They purposefully don’t fix cars correctly so they have to be brought back in and they are scamming insurance companies. Don’t bring your car to them. You might not have a car when their done. My box truck is gone and my 1977 Ford thunderbird has been totaled. They just replaced a motor for some guy, charged him $6000. The guy didn’t even make it five miles. Peter (owner) told the guy old engines leak, but it was a brand new engine out of a crate. They are purposefully doing this to their most loyal customer because they think people don’t know where else to go and Peter pretends to be so nice and clueless as to the problems he and his staff are purposefully causing. And don’t be fooled by the good reviews. They are relitives of the employees. Kristin Kunkle is the wife of one of the head mechanics. And if you notice, she’s made multiple accounts to give these guys good reviews. Same with most of the positive reviews. Finally don’t be fooled by their responses in negative review. West Chester Foreign Car regularly committs fraud by erasing and altering records of their customers. I currently am being refused 10 years of auto records by then because I can prove their committed fraud. They are currently trying to purging and destroying the evidence. If they claim someone wasn’t a customer, they are lying.Update: My thunderbirds engine just exploded and caught in fire at the new mechanic. The engine only had around 75k miles in it and it was not leaking gas before Pete got ahold of it. Massive amounts of damage. It’s almost like they sabotaged the car on purpose. No bolts in the seats, breaks were not working properly, and the engine exploded. The rear dif is leaking heavily aswell and I paid them for a proformance one. All they did was slather grease in the old one. This car would have killed me if u had taken it out on the road.I think they wanted that to happen since I threatened them with legal actions reguarding multiple instances of fraud.Update #2: I just found out Peters shop has caused multiple severe accidents in the past year due to fake work. It turns out that thy have multiple apprentices working as mechanics without any oversite or professionals around to check work. They are currently being threatened with multiple lawsuits by multiple different parties. In one of the accidents someone got severely injured. They are purposefully not fixing cars. for example, if you ask them to check your transmission, they will charge your for a ridiculous amount of trans work without actually fixing the problem. Like oil pan or gasket when in reality you need a new trans. It’s like fixing a broken bone with 100 bandaids and charging $95 and hour labor rate. The average labor rate is $40-60. They also mark up any parts they order grossly which by the way is from the worst warehouse in the state. Let’s say a gasket is $150. They will mark it up to $300 then charge u the maximum book time reguardless of how long t takes. And the labor rate will be as if their a speciality shop fixing million dollar supercars. A simple job like a trans swap which should cost under 2k will likely run you 5k with west Chester Foreign Autos. And most likely they won’t even change your trans at first. They will set your car up to need a second job. Their goal is to get you to either cough up thousands or total your own car. In which they will humbly offer you $200-500 for it. Once they have your car they will do the job they told you was worthless and then they will sell the car for a gross profit. It’s their scam. In their mind they have children to feed, and they don’t care if they take the food out of your kids mouth.

This shop is a real gem; I highly recommend it. I took my car in to have a couple of tire issues checked, along with the brakes, since the idiot light for my brakes kept flickering on. I was prepared to need new brakes (after 86,000 miles) and wondered if Id have to buy new tire(s). When I checked in, I could tell right away Scott is good people -- he made a friendly joke about the noise problem in my tire. When all was said and done, it cost me just $61, including the oil change I asked for. He rotated and balanced the tires, found the thing stuck in the tread that was making noise and told me I still had plenty of brake life left. He thinks it just needed a little brake fluid, which they added and didnt even charge for. I give them five stars.

Overcharges for labor and over charges for sub standard parts. Slap stick job with little care put into work. The quality of their work has seriously declined. They are blatantly committing auto fraud. Half of the work they charge for and say they do is not actually done. I’ve had to have multiple repairs redone by other mechanics who say the work was never even done in the first place.
