Not only is there awesome amenities like a pool and gym, there is apartments equipped with a washer and dryer, super helpful staff, and beautiful apartment interiors. We just moved in and are in love. While these buildings may not look like much on the outside, they are beautiful and spacious on the inside!

I moved here in May simply because the grounds are beautiful and they had a beautiful resort inspired swimming pool. I am happy with my apartment and the maintenance issues are handled quickly- but where the pool is concerned- its a disaster. The pool has a leak in it and it loses water all day long everyday. No one is fixing it- and sometimes its a foot below water level. Its also dirty and the lifeguards sitting there are on their phones. Yesterday, which was the hottest day of the year, the pool didnt open at all and there was no communication as to why. Yet we still are charged an amenity fee even though we arent getting the full offering. I have complained many times and nothing has been done. Its very frustrating. Ive even called the district manager and she ignored my calls and emails.

I can not express how great it was living at Golf Club. If you are looking for a great place to live with children this place is it. Everyone in this community is very kind and super neighborly. Its quiet, comfortable, and the leasing staff is warm and very welcoming. After 3 amazing years living here I have nothing but good things to say about this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and conveniently located place close to Downtown West Chester. Any member of the leasing staff that you encounter is nothing but sweet and helpful. The maintenance staff is also another high point of living here they are a great group that gets any problems solved quickly and without question. All and all 5 out of 5 for me!!!

I would not recommend this place at all. Its been more than 4 years since I am living here but up recently, there are lot of issues like they will shut down water supply without even any notice and that too in morning when you need it most. There are many great options in West Chester to explore so my suggestion is to avoid this place. It sucks

This place is absolutely amazing! Even during the midst of a pandemic, the leasing staff are all some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The community is amazing and I feel so incredibly safe being here. While every place has its cracks regardless of where you live, the staff here make sure that you are taken care of and satisfied. I will absolutely recommend this place to friends who are looking to rent!

This place is extremely overpriced and most of the time it smells like smoke in my hallway and apartment because of neighbors. Neighbors are inconsiderate and allow their dogs to bark non stop at early and late hours of the day. We are still being charged our $30 a month amenity fee although the pool and gym are closed, unreal. A single unit for near $1300 is not worth it here. I do not feel comfortable parking my car here. If you are below the age of 30 do not live here.

The grounds are poorly maintained, often with litter on the ground due to overflowing dumpsters that arent emptied nearly as often as they should.Corners are clearly cut with the individual apartments as there are amateur paint jobs on window frames and counters. Not to mention the appliances, cabinets, doors, plumbing, etc. all seem to have a short lifetime as they begin having issues only a month or two after you move in, even if the unit is supposedly newly renovated. The heating units all have a broken look to them and appear to be capped at a certain tempature despite how much you fiddle the thermostat.Simple work items are answered in a timely manner but more complex tickets drag on far beyond a reasonanle timeframe, sometimes taking weeks to be resolved.Calls to the office do little to resolve issues other than temporarily. Their only purpose seems to be to try and placate you rather than permanently solve the problem. For how much rent they charge, you are better off searching for another complex to live in as here it is certainly not money well spent.

I dont write reviews often but this one was a must. I absolutely love this community. I felt honest giving a 5-Star rating because its true. Its conveniently placed near SO many stores and its a cute community. You literally pay for what you get and youre a getting one of the best. Cynthia helped my mom and I with getting this place she was with us from day one and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. She was kind to us and treated us with love. Shes literally an angel she was there for all our questions and worked with us to get the home we wanted. Im sure everyone in the office is lovely but I can DEFINITELY recommend Cynthia to anyone looking to live here. My family and I love it here and its only the beginning! Im very grateful!

Paying 1,800 a month and that’s all they can do UNBELIEVABLE!! FAIR WARNING TO ANYONE looking for a apartment for their family stay away a from this apartment complex it is not worth the price!

I wish there was an option to give 3.5 stars. I lived at Golf Club for two years and overall, I was happy with my decision to both live there while in a one bedroom and move to another complex for a two bedroom.Pros:Leasing staff is a solid 4/5 with some minor miscommunications regarding common area maintenance.Maintenance staff always addressed my service requests within 48 hours. They also know your pets and will ask how they are doing when the residents see the staff around the complex. The upgraded kitchens (dark cabinets, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances) are aesthetically pleasing .Balconies for one bedroom apartments are very large and are wonderful to have when the weather is nice. The apartment grounds are well kept.Cons:There are only two wall units (three in some two bedroom apartments) that are very inefficient. During the summer, it cost me $130 to cool my 630 sq ft one bedroom apartment with both units running. With only one unit running, it cost a little less than $100.The common entrances to the one bedroom apartments are not climate controlled and causes rooms that border this area to be either colder or warmer depending on the season.I do not consider these apartments luxury by any stance of the word. The carpets arent the highest quality, I believe the rent is too high for the value of the apartment.I wish they had a dog park.Overall, I enjoyed time at Golf Club in a one bedroom apartment but did not consider them for a two bedroom apartment.

The staff is sweet and helpful and try to put together nice clubhouse gatherings every few weeks. Cynthia made the move in process so easy. We love our townhouse itself as well, the new carpets and fixtures are great and we love the big slider out onto our decent sized patio.

I have lived at Golf Club Apartments for the last 18 months. I am 74 years old, and it was very difficult for me to leave my home. It was necessary for me to move closer to my children and Golf Club Apartments was the best choice for me. I can now honestly say even though it was a difficult decision, it was the the VERY BEST thing for me to do. I have made many good friends at Golf Club Apartments. The office staff is very kind always available to answer any questions or concerns. They treat me and the other residents like EXTENDED FAMILY. As for the maintenance team I can not find the correct adjective to describe how WONDERFUL and HARD WORKING these guys are. They have done so much to help me in the last 18 months from, installing a handicap parking place for me when I first moved in and making sure my apartment on the outside was safely lite for me. One phone call and they are there to help in any way possible.I would highly recommend GOLF CLUB APARTMENTS to anyone. I have found my FOREVER home, and I am very happy and feel very safe living here.Edie B

Cynthia is great to work with. Very helpful and wants the best for you. However, the manager, Cindy, (who you’ll have to deal if you have ANY issues) was not. She’s unprofessional, she doesn’t get back to you if you have any problem. We brought up an issue and she wouldn’t get back to us until we “calmed down”. She’s rude and not welcoming. I’m not sure why someone would want to be any kind of manager with that kind of attitude and patience. I’m sorry that Cynthia couldn’t help us more, because we would’ve loved to deal with her the whole time instead. Otherwise, Cindy made it a miserable experience. I’m sorry to anyone in the future who has anything other than a perfect experience, because it will be made much worse.

Lived in the complex for a year. Rent was way to high for an apartment that only had air conditioning in the master bed and the living room. The other bedrooms were always way too hot. Halfway through the lease the office must have lost our renters insurance because they issued a notice saying we needed to verify it or move out in two weeks. They could have given a simple call or email to straighten it up. It felt very unprofessional. The grounds were not well kept. The mowers were lazy with making sure the grass was cut in the area around my apartment. The worst thing though was that upon move out they offered a new rate for the next year at a $120 increase. It was ridiculous!! After we moved out we asked the security deposit get sent to our new address and they sent it to a completely wrong one. They are completely incompetent. Golf Club Apartment is completely AWFUL

Im sitting here bored at home (Thanks, Covid!), paid my rent, which led me to look at the website, which led to reading reviews. Im pretty shocked at a few of them and just felt the need to comment. Ive lived in a townhouse here at Golf Club for about 4 years. Negatives: old school air conditioners. Theyre built into the walls so I dont know how that can ever be upgraded and it makes me sad lol. But eh, Ill put up with it because of everything else. I love my townhome and everything (but the air) about it. Good sized bedrooms, nice appliances, love my patio, and love the location. What makes it so nice to live in though, and I think this can make or break any rental you live in - is the staff. I cannot ever write in words how unbelievably kind and helpful they all are. I read a few comments about the manager, and I feel like possibly something out of the ordinary happened because she has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND numerous times for me. Things that wouldnt even be expected from a rental manager. She is one of the main reasons I stay here. Management is everything. Besides Cindy, the office staff is constantly professional and helpful with any issues, small or large. The maintenance men, geez, they all deserve raises and awards. Never once have I waited for a maintenance call to be answered, never once did I feel as if I was bothering them. Every time they are in my house they are friendly, clean up after themselves, and they know their stuff! I am thankful to live here, and thankful for the wonderful staff that is here for me. You all deserve the highest of praise, honestly.

I moved in this apartment thinking that since its townhouse I wont get disturbed by the sound of someone jumping on the floor above. The apartments are really old. My apartment has noises coming from the roof and management is not all bothered about it. They are sitting ducks for almost 10 days. What ensued here was quite possibly the worst living experience Ive had in my entire life. Upon moving in to what looked like a nice apartment, there were issues immediately:The thermostat fell off the wallThe Heat didnt work properly (it would turn on and run endlessly to the point where the temperature hit 90+ degreesThe railing up the steps fell off as it was adhered to the wall with the wrong type of nailsThe Closet doors werent on their tracks properly so they fell offThe intake fans in the bathrooms were COVERED in dust to the point where the fans could barely workAnd all of this was just on day 1. It became apparent within hours that the amount we were paying in rent was severely lopsided compared to the quality we were receiving. Every apartment has its difficulties/move in woes, so I was okay with letting some of these things slide, until it became apparent that the communication between the office and residents was horrendous, which led to an incredible amount of unknowns and frustration that would have never had happened had the office actually communicated with the residents. The first instance was a change in pool policy; we were told upon move in that the pool was free to use, and apparently a few days later corporate decided that it was $50 to use it for the season, which we were told a flyer went out about. Judging by the line at the pool on opening day of people who had not purchased pool passes, and had no clue the policy had changed (including long time residents), and talking to neighbors, it became apparent no flyer ever went out. This was common occurrence for the two years I lived there; something would change, or work would be scheduled to be performed on a building, we didnt know until said work was happening or said change affected us, then wed be told a flyer went out, would talk to neighbors to find out no one received any such flyer. We called the office numerous times for either maintenance or information, and whenever Nancy answered the phone she would say okay and that she didnt have the information right now, but would call us back or email us with the information or let maintenance know, which never happened and would result in either asking to speak to the manager, or getting frustrated enough on the phone that the information was provided. The last nail in the coffin was when we decided not to renew our lease, and noticed the online payment system didnt reflect the prorated rent for our last month so we could pay it (which is fine, I dont expect an automated system to be perfect, no big deal), however, I called 4-5 times over the course of a month and a half, and each time was told I cant locate your move-out letter at the moment, when I find it Ill email it to you as the amount is on there, after being told it should be on my move-out letter that was dropped in my mail slot, which yet again, it was not, which I had to explain every single time I called. I never received a call, letter or email telling me this, until the final time I called again on the day after my moveout date asking again what I owed, and was repeatedly told that I should have paid on the 1st per my lease, to which I had to repeatedly explain, that I couldnt possibly pay my rent, if I didnt know how much I had to pay, and I wouldnt be paying the full amount if I only lived there half the month. This went back and forth until the manager got on the phone and quickly told me why I owe, which led me to wonder why it was so difficult to get this information if it was so readily available. I would not recommend living here under any circumstances; the prices are way too high for the little amount of work and quality put into the living spaces, and with the exception of Jenna, who actually seemed to listen and genuinely care when speaking with her, the employees in the office dont know how to communicate to residents, and seem to disregard the fact that these are peoples homes.

Pros:- Great location (the West Goshen Town Center is across the street and theres Stroud Preserve down the road).- Pet cleanup stations are readily available around the complex and are usually fully stocked.- There is plenty of parking available for each apartment.Cons:- Although there are nice neighbors, there are also racists living in the complex who display racially charged banners and flags. Action taken against them is slow; I dont feel very safe in the environment.- The insurance that the complex uses discriminates against many dog breeds. Youre required to have paperwork verifying that your dog is not partially genetically related to any of the breeds on the ban list. This is possibly the worst policy I have ever encountered in any apartment complex Ive lived in.- The cost of rent is extremely high for what youre getting. A studio that should cost about $700-$800 goes for over $1,000.- There is no washer/dryer in my building. I have to walk to the building next door to do laundry and it costs about $5-$7 to do one load.- The hours for the office are not convenient for someone who works a normal 9am-5pm.- The layout of the complex is confusing and there isnt enough signage/labeling—most visitors and delivery workers have a lot of trouble finding my apartment.- Proper and timely communication with the staff is virtually nonexistent.

Ive been living in one of the One bedroom apartment for almost 4.5 years now and it really has been a nice place to live.Service calls are answered promptly. Only negative thing is common hallways in 1 bedroom apartment blocks are not cleaned often.

What are you doing about the racism happening at your complex? People of color are being terrorized by banners displaying racial slurs on balconies. How is this being handled so black people and other people of color can feel safe there?

In addition to paying over $1,000 a month for a studio apartment roughly the size of a small childs bedroom, Im not quite sure what the maintenance staff does. Requests typically go ignored or unfulfilled based on what Ive experienced, case in point the lone working washer directly beneath my unit. There are 3 total. This has been the case for roughly a full year. I guess I should also mention that the powers that be took about the same amount of time to replace the empty sanitary wipe dispenser in the fitness center (repugnant) and it reeked like dirty socks were piled to the ceiling in the center of the room. They have no problem harping you to pay your rent on time though, thats for certain.

Safe neighborhood and great neighbors. Unfortunately, rent does not reflect value. Maintenance problems including parking lot lamps and Courtyard lights that do not work. Entranceways and or foyer lighting not working in most units. Toilets may need more than one flushing to empty. Heating is sporadic at best however you pay the same charge every month for it. The dormers on most buildings reflect the lack of maintenance schedules for the entire property. In my experience when my lease needed to be renewed I was charged to 50 extra dollars a month to renew, however other apartments the same size were being offered to new renters at $80 less. When I questioned this I was told I could move to another apartment. The staff is decent at best and I understand that they have a job to do. Heck most of them live on site. All in all its okay. If I had a single Daughter going to school locally I would not recommend because of the night lighting. Rent..access heating, water, sewage then your electric and cable/WiFi add up to about $1600 a month for a single bedroom unit.

During our stay at Golf Club apartments, we dealt with sewage spouting out of our tub drain from another apartment during a plumbing issue, a dead animal in the wall of one of our units (the smell and lack of solution from maintenance led us to pay $500 to transfer to another apartment. The new apartment upon move in (after having to wait another month with the dead rat smell for it to be prepped), was not ready. The walls were scuffed and dirty and needed painting (the very thing we had to live in dead animal-land to allow time for), the ceiling fan was damaged, the closet doors were not attached (one fell and hit me in the head when we were moving in), and there was spilled detergent dried on the laundry room floor with lint still in the dryer. After those initial issues were resolved, we were graced with a chorus of drunken yelling during any televised sporting events, several domestic disturbances by neighbors, drug deals in the parking lot, and a water leak under the sink of our newly renovated unit. We had multiple days where we had no water or power for various work around the complex. We were given a storage unit with our apartment. When my wife and I finally decided to break our lease to get away from all of the joys of Golf Club Apartments, we found the storage unit had been completely emptied of everything and swept clean. At some point during our stay, maintenance removed our lock from our unit and threw everything out (or someone stole it as the management put it). Why a thief would be interested in my diploma, wedding pictures, and keepsakes from my childhood, Ill never know. Ive never known a thief to steal items without monetary value and then sweep up after themselves. Shortly after this was reported to management, a letter went out telling everyone to claim their storage unit with the office or else it would be cleaned out.So... here we are approaching our first holiday season since leaving Golf Club Apartments. My wife and I have bought each other ornaments each year since we met. We were looking forward to putting up the tree after Thanksgiving, but just realized that someone stole those from our storage unit as well. Thanks Golf Club! I hope you have a great holiday season!

I hate reviews and this is my very first online review but super disappointment and HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.heres what happened.I lived there for 2 years, I really never had much dealing the management office, until I decided to move to a one bedroom apartment instead of my 2 bedroom apartment, I went to the leasing office to see if they have any one bedroom to move to and I was told that they do not have any apartments available at the moment so i went online to see what other options i have, in my searching in the same day i found 4 or 5 apartments available to lease on golf club apartments website, I was surprised! they just told me theres none!! so I called the leasing office and I got the same person who told me theres none available so I asked her to get me to the manager, she transferred me to the assistant manager, I asked him nicely to get me to the manager which he wasnt happy about my request, he put me on wait for 25 minutes, I was very disappointment with all of that!! so I hang up and called the regional office, i talked a very nice lady who was surprised I was treated that way, she got all my information and said shes going to open a ticket that it has to be solved by my property manager and she said most likely the manager will call me today. that was on the 8/25/16 TWO AND HALF WEEKS later I get an email from the manager saying we can get you in another apartment and didnt Apologized for what happened and of course it was too late, I already got another place.WITH ALL OF THAT I DIDNT WANT TO GIVE THEM A BAD REVIEW.but my lease ended on 10/15/16 which it was a Sat, I cleaned the apartment no trash or damage whatsoever, and I know the office is closed on Sunday, so I returned the keys on Monday 10/17 at 10 am. so I got charged $80 for 2 days of rent!! RIDICULOUS. Sunday count and monday count AS A FULL DAY manager said! and GOT charged for FINAL ADMIN FEE, SCHEDULER MOVE OUT FEE, FINAL WATER, FINAL HEAT, FINAL TRASH, and all of these fees happened to be exactly as much as my Security Deposit!!! and I got zero back of my money! I never been late on anything, never in 2 years had anyone complaining about me, apartment clean in the same condition as i got it.

The apartment is nice, finally got a new dishwasher so thats much better now. They could do a better job plowing/salting the parking lot before a big snow or other freezing weather. Sometimes the water pressure in the shower gets really low - even to the point once where no water was coming out at all! Internet is super fast, so thats great, and having a washer/drier combo in the apartment is huge. The pool is nice and clean in the summer. Havent used the fitness center but it seems satisfactory. I wish rent was easier to pay online, its kind of a hassle. The numerous speed bumps are a pain in the butt as a driver, but there are little kids who live here and play throughout the community so Im thankful we have them. Pet friendly is really nice, only some neighbors dont clean up after their dogs which is horrible, but thats not the fault of Golf Club Management, thats on those individuals (gross). GREAT LOCATION!!! Literally everything you need is across or right down the street. Multiple restaurants, Shop Rite, Wawa, CVS, Spaz Beverage, Starbucks, etc. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars, but Id probably give it a 4.5 if I could. Maybe fix that water pressure problem and do a better job preparing for snow/ice and itll be a 5 star place for the rent.

The new management company has sent out letter taking tenant conveniences i.e. an outside dropbox. When are you going to give something for the market rent we pay. What you get here compared to what is available in the area does not compare. A two bedroom townhouse only has 1 air conditioner..really in 2018? My utilities are group billed with the entire building. The manager forgot to tell maintenance we made a call so they came but had to reschedule thus wasting my time. The whole purpose for renting is convenience and the ability to have someone else maintain. The apartments are not luxury but adequate.

I mean its ok? Dont bother trying to email anyone in the office they will just never answer. And if you call they sound like they have NOOO idea what they are talking about. There is no communication to residents unless it benefits them. Dont get me started on the frequency of lawn care (hint its basically nonexistent) But then again its also overpriced for what you get, which is basically nothing. They claim to have *restricted* dog breeds, yet the ones on their list, pits, german shepherds are prowling the neighborhoods all day (not that it matters but dont say you have restrictions?) Basically, its OK (maybe??) if you dont plan on ever communicating with management.

Apt is way way overpriced and funny thing is they will try to increase the rent price significantly high when you are almost end of your terms and ready for renewal. basically i felt like they were saying : -we robbed you and now move out so that i can rob someone else. oh you dont need an alarm to wake up in the morning. the rush hour traffic will wake you up.

Lets see... Avoid if at all possible. A good stop gap for temporary housing but with the way they treat tenants and allow certain neighbors to run the place its not worth the rent. First off, rent is too high. I am now renting a 2br2ba house on 1 acre for 1219 plus $100 in utilities down the road. Second, make sure you have maintenance walk through with you when you move in. It took a month to get all the issues with sewage worked out. Third, if you have a dog of any breed, make sure you bring the dog with you when you sign the lease and have the property manager sign off on it. I moved into Golf Club in September 2016, and brought my dog for approval where he was approved by management. I am now moving out effecting June 1st 2017. Not even a full year into my lease. Common courtesy is null and void here apparently. Furthermore, There is a woman that lives on the corner of the property, (building E), that takes it upon herself to insert herself into any bit of business that any neighbor is in. Shes nosey and a hindrance to the community. Nice at first, but dont get involved with her. Even if you are a person that keeps to themselves, she wanders around looking for information. She also has 3 stray cats that she feeds. There is cat poop every where in the court yard. READ your LEASE carefully!!! Again, the leasing office plays games and the neighbors are nosy. Lastly, the parking lot lights are all burned out. Parking lot is dark at night and the crew that does lawn maintenance doesnt care if you have a nice garden, they will run over your freshly planted flowers and blow grass clippings onto your patio. Therefore, if you are a single, young introvert, that does not have any animal of any kind and leaves in the dark and comes home in the dark; you will have no issue whatsoever. Good luck in your apartment search and hopefully is far away from here.
