“Al & John” Glen rock hams in west Caldwell NJ is a horrible company.The business is own by family. The company has hired their in-laws as well. Which is a problem. The wife of a now deceased family member of the company has continued to provide her brother with employment while he is on hard narcotics and has an extremely bad alcohol problem. He gets fired every 2-8 weeks on average. After several weeks he is rehired. And this cycle has gone on for years. The number of times he has been terminated and rehired is so high I lost count. The reason why this is such an issue is he had seriously hurt another employee. He was drunk at work, operating heavy machinery; crushing the legs of his coworker. This man was taken to the hospital. While recovering, his full time position was downgraded. And subsequently fired for not being able to preform his Job duties. It was all part of their plan. He was treated so disgustingly that if they treat their own so badly. Imagine how they treat customers and their products. The injured employee took Glen Rock Hams to court over this which you can find easily on google. The drunk employee operating the machine that injured this man was this individual fully describing here. How can an employee whose under influence at work and seriously injuries another employee, not be terminated and never rehired??? What does that tell you about a company that doesn’t treat their employees well. Unless they are related by blood or marriage.

Very nice employees. Quick unloading. Decent size place. Docks are a lil tight due to grass across from em. No overnight parking

First guy in line Monday morning, told to pull over and wait cause they needed to unload someone else first. This was at 6 am. 1 pm I finally get emptied but they leave the air bags in my trailer.

The freshest Ham youll ever get. There Kohler items are the best deli meat youve ever tried. Cant beat there Roast Beef. Absolutely the best!!!

Got there early for delivery appointment and called inside to get permission to park overnight and they were very rude and unprofessional. The lady that answered the phone sent 3 guys outside to tell me I had to get off there property while I was in the middle of turning a tractor/trailer around in parking lot. I will never deliver here again!

Google doesnt take you to the correct location for 147 clinton rd . It take you Henderson road into another wharehouse so if u should cone here when come into the backbof wharehouse look threw fence that 147 clinton rd AL& JOHNSON so you will have go down street to clinton road make a left and work your way back up and by the way the AL&JOHNSON sign is hard to see in the rain the nin u see 147 turn left immediately and come around back

Al and John was ok today there was know usual beck up although they are normally a in and out stop I only have them 3 stars there is no driver lounge or bathroom so before you go make sure you eat well and go to bathroom in case you lucky to get tangled up in one of those back up days ..

Al & Johns is the home of Glenrock hams. Ive been working for this company last 8 years. Of course I like it there otherwise I would have found a different job.

Weve been eating Glen Rock meats for decades. The best quality out there and at a great price. If youre in New Jersey you can find their ham, roast beef and other items at ShopRite, Wegmans and other quality supermarkets. A customer for life!
