We lived here for a year and a half, we were never late on our rent and never caused any issues. In fact, we left our apartment cleaner then when we moved in! We paid $1,329 a month. We were told by Penny that if we gave an employee named Greg a pack of Cools beer (very professional) he would paint the accent wall in our house for us which was orange at the time. All of the furniture in the clubhouse was broken, and people would walk through even if you paid to reserve it. Every wood panel in the apartment would fall off because nothing was nailed/screwed in, only glued down. When we signed our lease we were told that we would move in to new carpet and new tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen and that was not the case. The kitchen sink had paint on it and the stove wasn’t put together. We had to wait 15 days for them to finish our apartment after we paid our security deposit and 1st months rent so we had to to pay for our furniture to be delivered a month later then scheduled and the apartment didn’t even give us 15 days of rent back!! When we did finally get to move in there was saw dust all over the walls, carpet fibers everywhere, the bathrooms were dirty, we spent days cleaning before we could actually bring in boxes and furniture! Our neighbors were using drugs on our floor and after contacting management numerous times nothing had been done! My baby was in the hospital for a month on a breathing tube and almost died! When we brought her home my apartment was filled with the smell of marijuana on a DAILY basis for months! We were told to call the police because management couldn’t help us! When we finally moved out we were told by Penny that she was going to charge us our entire security deposit because the wall that the company painted for us was painted when we moved in. Since when does it cost $400 to paint a wall?! Then she finally said she wouldn’t charge us for the wall but that she was going to charge us $50 because the oven wasn’t spotless which in her words, “All you had to do was hit self clean!” And an additional $25 to replace the drip pans on the oven. We left the apartment cleaner then it was when we moved it! This apartment is very pretty and you do get nice things like washer/dryer, dishwasher, gym, and club house. But with how unprofessional the workers are it is not worth living here! And it definitely isn’t worth paying almost $1,400 a month! And an additional $75 for underground parking. If you don’t park in the parking lot before it fills then you will be forced to pay for street parking on to of your rent and everything else! Good luck to the next person looking to move here! They definitely know how to butter you up and say the right things to get you to move in!

I have been a tenant with Trike for about 3.5 years now, and have had the most positive experience with them. Anytime I have needed something fixed or had an issue, Penny has always made sure to take care of it. Ive always felt well taken care of by Trike and genuinely feel that if you communicate your concerns with them that they will be there for you.

Do not rent from here. When I got my place I was in a rush to find a new spot so when I found the unit with them at such an affordable price it seemed almost too good to be true ( it was). The company called threatening to evict when I didnt pay the first months rent that they had given to me free as part of the deal when I signed the contract. They then mistakenly double charged me for the next months rent and did not refund of the additional charge. Luckily I was a little up on my finances with tax season or I honestly dont know what I would have done. The oven didnt work when I moved in and the pipes to the bathroom are rotten, the company has been aware and thus far has done nothing to fix it. Look elsewhere if youre trying to rent, its clear this company is a mess.

We recently moved into Six Points Apartments and love it here. Penny worked with us to find an apartment and processed our application so quickly. The apartment is beautiful and the community is safe and quiet. Great access to downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods. Pet friendly too!Thank you Penny for all of your help - you were wonderful to work with!

I just moved into Six Points Apartments 2 months ago. I have rented all my life and this is one of my best experiences. 2 weeks after moving in I thought I would try the online work order as my dryer needed a new knob. On a Sunday I submitted the work order online and Monday morning someone came to fix it.The sound proofing is great! We enjoy our TV, video games and sitting out on the balcony. The staff was very welcoming when we moved in and had everything looking nice for us. We have a one bedroom with bonus area in the living room. finally I have a bedroom that fits all my furniture with plenty of room for walking around and an additional chair.I recently watched the red moon eclipse last weekend on the roof top deck.

I am in New Jersey and I was unable to come into Milwaukee before having to rent, but I spoke with Trike Property Management and they directed me to their web site where I was able to view the area I was interested in. They were able to handle everything I needed on-line and from my phone (loved this feature!!!). Everything was handled very promptly. They were very helpful and it was a pleasant experience. I would certainly recommend them if you are out of town and need some assistance.

WORST LANDLORDS/MANAGEMENT EVER! If you see a good review for Trike, its because they work for Trike and/or are family! Ive been living on the East Side for 10 years and have never had a bad experience until Trike. They dont fix anything and constantly give the run around. Moved into a dirty apartment (this has been the experience of most tenants) and they didnt fix anything we wrote down. If they do fix something (which takes several requests/debates) its the cheapest band-aid over a bullet hole solution. No screens and/or storm windows. One neighbor had black mold. Many toilets dont flush. Rotting windows. Leaking roof. Leaking showers/bath. Rude staff whose policy is to not let you speak and just give you B.S. To their credit, the tenants are great and building could be nice if properly maintained. Long story short, theyre 1 degree north of slum lords.

I went online to search for an apartment then followed up with calls to schedule appointments. I must have called at least 6 different numbers and only got one call back. A lady by the name of Bridget from Trike Property Management called me and offered to show me a few different apartments on the east side where I was looking to move. I ended up looking at 3 different properties which she showed me and decided to rent one. We met at the first property and then she even offered to drive me from property to property in her company car. There was a sticker on the car saying chauffer driven tours and they actually really do this. They offered a reduced security deposit if I signed up to pay my rent electronically, so I did. I would have preferred this anyways as it makes my life easy. Anyway they processed my application within a couple of days and got me approved. The process was seamless. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment in the Milwaukee area.

This place is a nightmare! The neighbors on our floor were okay, it was mostly problems with management and the owner:(a) Yes, it is true that there were a lot of college students in the building, but it wasnt that bad, as far as partying. We are between 40-50 years old, but we understand the college years...and it never got to the point of complaining.(b) The building manager, Bridget, is a complete two-faced scum-bag. She will say anything to get you to rent the place...then, when you move in she suddenly becomes a total witch. She LIES about people making complaints about you in order to terminate leases. Once you go month-to-month, BEWARE!(c) The maintenance staff is a bunch of buffoons. They never actually fix anything. I can say this because I used to work at a major Milwaukee hotel as a maintenance assistant, and following that, have worked as a property maintenance person for several management companies:

So true on the zero star comment. On site property manager at the Parkwood homes owned by Trike Management is the worst ever. will not show up for requested projects and if he does show up he treats you like you are bothering him. Make sure you take pictures and document everything because when you move out they will try to keep your security deposit like they did mine. Once i showed them my pics and documents i got that deposit back. if you do move in check EVERYTHING because issues will pop up quickly and good luck dealing with the onsite maintenance manager. Laziest guy i have ever had as a property mng. Will be better with new onsite property manager but need more complaints to get new manager.

Trike management has got to be the worst customer service experience. Mike is a slumlord to the fullest extent. Penny is nothing more than a political mouth piece for slum lord Mike, she says she will do something and never calls back. We moved in during November and it took 4 months for the furnace to work right, it took 18 months to get a working stove and 18 months to get all of the windows replaced they stated they would. Now after the nickle and dime disaster of the furnace and the stove we now are on the same path with the refrigerator. Mike is a slumlord, Penny is a talking shill for the slumlord named Mike and the head of maintenance is a lazy cheap piece of trash.

Okay. Here it goes. There were red flags from the beginning, but we were wearing rose -colored glasses and just excited to get out on our own, so the blatant issues within the lease at 1621 N. Franklin Pl. really didnt strike us as questionable or illegal until we started having MORE issues. The building itself is literally FALLING APART. This building probably used to be gorgeous, but a disregard for the property has made it a sad, sad sight. The ceiling in our bathroom has looked like it was about to cave in from the beginning, and shortly after we moved in began leaking. Black mold is surely to be found if they tear out the ceiling, which is prolly why even after two complaints, they refused to fix the issue. All they did was caulk the tub in the apartment above us, which stopped the leaking, but the ceiling, walls and paint began cracking something fierce from water damage and mold. Bugs run RAMPANT through the apartment, and when a complaint is made, they say we are responsible and to just buy a can of Raid, as per your lease agreement. First off, nothing is sealed properly. There is a 5ish centimeter gap around all the window panes that allow bugs to get in and out as they please, including hornets, which both my husband and I are allergic to. Severe damage to piping under our kitchen sink, leaking sink handles, water radiators that arent even fitted with handles to control heat, which, if I understand correctly, is illegal conduct. Doors that barely lock, and locks that frequently slip and leave you with keys that DO NOT work. The washers and dryers smell of dirty water and are not kept up with unless you hound them for weeks on end. Not only is the property a mess, the landlord is horrendous. Mike is a slum lord, to every extent of the word. Hes rude, and illegally changed the locks to our apartment after we were told by a staff member that even though we were a little behind on rent, they were giving us a grace period. The maintenance man called Mike the property manager at my request as I was forced out of my apartment, and handed me the phone. I tried to explain that we were told by a staff member that we were good for a few more days, but he refused to listen, and then started chewing me out and SCREAMING at me on the phone. He didnt want to hear anything I had to say, and I was in tears. My husband, needless to say, has many choice words with this man, and it really hasnt changed his attitude. My mother had to shell out money that day to make sure we werent out on our asses. Speaking of the maintenance men, there is like, one or two of them that are decent. The others are rude, leave messes in your apartments and use your stuff without consent. We were wrongly accused of smoking in our apartment by another tenant, which is apparently a pretty common occurance. Some of the tenants are bitter and old and just like causing trouble for others, and others are just disrespectful of your belongings. Penny was really the only staff member who was pleasant. We have been out a week and Im sure well have more issues with them once the time comes to discuss the return of our security deposit. DO NOT RENT FROM TRIKE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Really wished I had had the common sense to check reviews from this place before moving in. These warnings are for your own good. Please dont make the same mistake we, and other tenants have made. You will surely regret it.

Disclosure: if possible I would rate them 0 stars. They make living here a living hell.My fiancé and I were given an apartment that the oven did not turn off. No literally the knob just kept turning and the heat was constantly on. Sounds dangerous right? There is a piece of the wall that’s a wooden board that wasn’t nailed in and falls down. Maintenance NEVER came to fix it and we submitted at least three requests. They removed the knobs on the heaters so you’re not able to adjust the heat in your apartment. (Which is also illegal.) These renters do not care about you.(Oh and how could I forget! There’s a few floorboards that are pushed down in our apartment that are on the verge of caving into the apartment below us.)Worst experience ever. Ever ever ever.

I shudder every time I think about this company. Though my girlfriend and I were quiet, rent-paying tenants, we were harassed and threatened by the building manager with threats of eviction and/or fines. Rumor had it they wanted to turn the Shorewood apartment building we were living in into condos, which seems to be the only logical reason for treating ideal renters like garbage. Avoid this company like AIDS. Youve been warned.

I stayed in the Parkwood Townhomes. The town homes are ok but I had a furnace and heater go out which both took several weeks to get fixed. The management treats people like they are just another renter and are careless. Penny is a old pathetic lady that makes everyone lives miserable complaining about any and everything. Id for sure not rent from this property management team again.

I wish we never would have rented from this unprofessional property management. They shouldnt even be allowed to have management in their name. Our apartment building is fairly big, the hallway walls are always dirty and there are dead bugs in most light fixtures. The Emergency maintenance man who was supposed to help when my heat was off for 2 days was disrespectful when he called (cussing saying something along the lines of these motha f*ckn people act like they have no heat or something...). The owner was ot interested in helping me personally when I did call...instead he had the SAME maintenance man call me back! I cannot wait to get out of this apartment, I dont want to give those people ONE MORE CENT!!!!!!!

AVOID TRIKE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AT ALL COSTS! Consider yourself warned! This is the absolute worst property management group I have ever dealt with. Everyone that answers the phone from that company is unbelievably unprofessional and unwilling to help. Deniese Redd is the worst of the worst! When looking for my apartment, I made it EXTREMELY clear I would only need an apartment for four months, which is why I was looking for a place that included cable & internet. Deniese verified that my apartment had cable & internet included in the monthly price, and when it came time to move in, no such luck. Even my contract had cable & internet marked alongside heat, electricity, water. If im not paying for electricity, heat, water, then why am I on the hook for cable & internet when it is CLEARLY marked. I called her up and was told she only told me it was cable & internet ready. What apartment nowadays is not cable & internet ready Deniese? Im now looking at an additional $100/month, on top of an already overpriced apartment. I must say, the best word to describe Trike is unprofessional. They claim to have been in the business for years, but the way they treat paying customers would make you think theyve been in business top six months. Again, I would suggest staying far far away from anything that has the words Trike Property Management on it. I assure you, the numerous other negative reviews speaks volumes about this company.

The general manager at the 1621 Franklin Manor location (Susan Goelz) has a degree of psychological issues. I am in agreeance with at least two other tenants when I say that shes unable to conduct herself properly in this setting. Trike Property Management has turned a blind eye on her misconduct for years. Please report any unethical behavior displayed by Ms. Goelz; people need to stand up for themselves and help get the word out.

Avoid at all costs. For starters it looks like they are employing family members to write fake reviews on this site - there are two people by the last name of Askotzky who are managers for this company and by some lucky coincidence we have a beaming review below by someone with the last name Askotzky. These people are too lazy to even change the last name on a fake review - expect the same from management. Everyone was incredibly helpful and easy to work with until we signed the dotted line, then suddenly all customer service went out the window. Upon move out, they tried charging us above what we owed, let themselves into our apt before the lease was up and threw away a bunch of furniture, told us different stipulations than what was agreed upon on move in, didnt answer questions, hung up on us on the phone, told us it would be $800 to slap 2 coats of primer on the walls of a 600 sq ft apt, probably more that Im forgetting... Dont be fooled, I figured all negative reviews must come from tenants who cause problems and these people seemed decent, but after paying rent on time for nearly 2 years we were treated like garbage on move out. Avoid Mike at all costs. He is a bitter fat little man who takes pleasure in treating tenants like crap - do you want someone who seems generally unhappy with his current situation in life to have the power to give you fines for whatever he feels necessary? If so, then TRIKE is the place for you!
