Be nice if someone was at the front desk once in a while. I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes. So I left.

I know the staff tries their best to keep everything clean, and its no fault of the management, but I often find that following behind other members the machines dont get cleaned. Also, I sometimes feel uncomfortable while running on a treadmill or stretching- there tends to be lingering eyes from some male members. I found that I actually felt more comfortable at Curves because of the all- women atmosphere

Very clean, equipments are spaced for social distances, friendly staff, and open 24 hours. Mostly not busy during non-peak hours. More then options of equipment, with a large selection of machines and tools for guidance.

I was going to stop but could not find my silver sneakers cards so I could join great place look to. Join want to see I can use silver sneakers and still get a black 🖤 card as I travel to various locations.

Love the Waynesboro gym. The staff is friendly, the gym is clean, and I never have any issues there.

I’ve been in many planet fitness locations. This is by far my favorite location this far. Great employees!

Never too crowded at this PF, the employees there were very accommodating, kind, and helpful, tons of equipment options, and a lot of extras like access to the tanning beds, hydromassage, massage chairs, and the total body enhancement machine and more with the black card (which I recommend!)

Planet Fitness is a very clean and friendly environment the staff are very helpful and very friendly and by working out and using their machines it has helped lower my blood sugar levels for my diabetes

This location is smaller than my home location however the equipment is always in good working order, people are friendly and you can get in and out quickly while still getting a good workout.

The Waynesboro Planet Fitness location has withdrawn fees from our financial institution from March 13, 2020 through February 17, 2021 regardless of the 24 notated attempts made to cancel our memberships. We chose to discontinue involvement with this business due to their lack of adequate cleaning, their poor attempt with mask protocols, and no respect for social distancing among staff and visitors during a pandemic. These charges were unauthorized, and it should be considered theft! All attempts to contact additional personnel through the website and the number provided on the transactions to resolve the issue and receive full refunds have been met with rudeness, excuses, and lack of record keeping. The Regional manager and the Waynesboro Management team has notoriously failed to uphold their ethical and professional responsibility to serve the customers and protect them from fraudulent charges. Even after our Bank requested a date for resolution, the Waynesboro Planet Fitness management and regional manager has refused to resolve this issue within a timely manner. Therefore additional complaints have been submitted to the appropriate resources. If you are looking for a new fitness option, please do your research before you have hundreds of dollars taken from you by a company who is only interested in trapping you into a never-ending contract. They do NOT care about their clients best interest health wise OR financially!!!!!

The Waynesboro facility is always clean. I see the staff continually cleaning and inspecting equipment throughout my visits. The facility has always been clean and nice and the enhanced procedures are very welcome.

Live the massage chair and hydro chair

I am a new member, and am very pleased. The facility is always clean, and there is plenty of equipment. It gets really busy in the evening around 5-8pm, but there is still equipment available. I prefer late night when it is a bit more scarce. This works, because they are open all night. I have had a few meetings with the personal trainer, and he is excellent. This is my first time with a fitness membership and my first experience with a personal trainer. Classes are small, and Jonathan is patient and non-intimidating, but will push you to do just beyond your comfort zone. I needed that extra push, after spending the last several years in a desk job. He was also very encouraging and motivating...by far the best asset at this location. Based on the small class sizes, he is clearly underutilized by members. I look forward to learning from him as I continue.The facility is excellent, and there is enough equipment to vary your workout to keep it interesting. Take advantage of Jonathans sessions to learn how to best use all of the resources. You wont find better value, especially with the black card membership. Im kind of hooked on this place, finding myself constantly sore, but craving going back.

Need to be more trueful with rates maybe more training with your people other than that nice place

The Staff of the Waynesboro Virginia are excellent and very professional as well as the Midnight crew well mannered and a great pleasure to be around i sometimes just go down just be around grat natured individuals but everyone greats u with a smile and a warm welcome what ever you are paying them really isnt enough.they are what keeps us coming back

I am a black card membership which entitles me to use everything in the GYM From exercise equipment to tanning beds, And massage equipment, And being able to bring a guest is awesome Also I travel a lot to firginia beach in other areas and I can go to any other planet fitness GYM And for such a small monthly fee, Who could ask her one anything more !

A very nice gym! The staff was super friendly and gave me a tour. This gym has everything from workout equipment to tanning beds. From what Ive seen, its not crazy busy either which is nice when youre working out. They are currently remodeling too so I cant wait to see what they do with the facility!!

Staff is always very friendly, equipment/floor/bathrooms/etc. are always clean, COVID/safety precautions are ensured, overall I love this gym.

As always, very clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic workout and there was plenty of paper towels and cleaner to sanitize the machines.

I love the facilities and cleanliness of Planet Fitness. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The flexibility and amenities of the Black Card membership are fantastic, with the ability to go to the Planet Fitness closest to my job or home and the massage chairs available after a hard workout. Importantly, Planet Fitness was really accomodating for the COVID-19 lock down. They stopped charging membership fees during the lock down, provided free at-home workouts on the app, and only started charging my membership when I decided to return to the gym. Their social fitnessing cleaning and safety program helps me feel safe about returning to the gym so I can get back to being active after the lock down.

Just like your ads say, its a no judgement zone. My wife and I are mid 60s and we are sharing your great fitness resources with people much younger and people much older. All the different ages come together for one purpose -- staying healthy. Staff is always so polite and helpful. There is always at least one staff member who cleaning and making sure all the area are ready for use.

So apparently minors aren’t even allowed in the front door, or so I was rudely told by the kid at the front desk. Even though I took my daughter with me the day I went to sign up for membership, took a full tour with her, gave them my money. Nobody said a thing. I’ve brought her many times. But yesterday, I was very rudely told she was not even allowed in the front door. I canceled my membership on the spot. All I wanted to do was use the light bed for 10 minutes while she watched a movie and waited in the room for me. I’ve done this many times and lots of other moms have said they do the same thing. I absolutely do not recommend this gym. When it comes to taking your money, anything goes. But when it’s time to come in and use your membership, they are rude and two-faced. Very rude to parents with kids.

The general manager here is ridiculous. We were unable to cancel our membership before we moved states because of the pandemic and havent been to the gym in months yet they still refuse to refund the yearly fee and have made it extremely difficult to cancel our membership form out of state. Would not recommend this gym under such poor management!

Its a good atmosphere. Staff is friendly and you can be social if you want, or just do your own thing without talking to anyone. It just feel low key and thats a good thing.

I go to this gym pretty often, it’s really great and cheap! Lots of equipment and weights, staff are friendly. I usually get in a pretty good workout. But, the one thing that bothers me is the amount of creepy guys that go here. They stare at me while I work out, sometimes try to talk to me, or make creepy comments. I’m there to workout, that’s it, I try to make that very clear. An old man came up to me one day and just grabbed my thigh!!! It just makes me feel uncomfortable and unsafe having things like this happen but overall it’s a great gym.

This gym is just ok. The reason for high reviews is because its cheap and there are no other good gyms in the area. They need competition in Augusta County. Theres a heavy staff turnover and lack of expiereced.and/or certified trainers. The goodones left.

It has everything you need. Machines, free weights, tons of cardio equipment, massage tables, tanning and showers. Clean facility, friendly staff. Open 24/7. All for $20/month. Love it!

My coach was amazing he explained things so I could understand them and he understood my injuries and health issues.

I enjoy working out mainly at later hours, because during the day it can get busy! But it’s definitely better than Harrisonburg, the staff are friendly, it’s clean and it’s all around a great facility.

This is a great gym with lots of great equipment. My experience there has always been really good. There seems to be a problem with turnover in the staff, however. Two of the biggest assets have just quit and I feel the gym will suffer in their absence. Such a shame, both were really good employees.

Love going here to work out. Atmosphere is great, they have to notch equipment and if you get the black membership you gain access to tanning booths, massage chairs and access to all the other locations in case you travel a lot. Plus you can bring a friend for free.

A gym is a gym, so you can get fit here no problem. Many people think planet fitness is the Walmart of gyms, but its really not. They offer a wide variety of workouts. Staff is friendly and the people that go here, are also. Its like its own community. And you cant beat their prices. Its far more than reasonable.

Been to alot of gyms but this is the best one. Very good gym.

Its a great gym...however, management is unprofessional. I applied for a job and had an interview on a Thursday. The manager said she would give me a call by Friday evening to let me know their decision (they had multiple interviews). Friday came and no call. At 5pm I made a phone call to them to only find out that management had already left for the weekend. I waited all weekend and when Monday came I thought maybe Id get a call but I didnt. So, I called them again and she was there but apparently busy. They took my name and number and passed it along to her and told me she would call me back. I waited all day for a phone call but to no avail. It is now Wednesday Nov 22 and I have yet to receive a call. Tomorrow marks one week that she has left me clueless. I find this extremely unprofessional and if she were to call I would not accept the position due to her behavior. I dont want to work for a manager like that.

It’s a decent gym with plenty of equipment. Downside is that I paid a late fee four times and the gym keeps insisting I still owe it. Even after I supplied documentation I paid it.

Dont try to cancel your membership with this gym because theyll charge you for another month. I was told one if I cancelled before the 17th I wouldnt be charged from the call center and different story once I was made to go to the gym to sign a release form. Also dont try to cancel over the phone because that isnt a thing and i was told thats how they streamline your cancellation by you signing. Thats a lie, its their way of having an agreement for you pay the following month. This is bad business and Ill never step foot back in this gym. I honestly would have told anyone to join this brand before this. All I wanted to do cancel. I enjoyed my time here but need to change gyms because of convenience.

This place is just a money pit. The payments never come out the same time each month. They wont let you cancel membership unless you come in. Ive been trying to get rid if this place for months. I sometimes think its canceled because the payment doesnt come out when its supposed to. Then boom. Place is horrible I just paid a yearly fee and I havent been there at all this year

Great facility and helpful staff. My chief complaint is that the hours Friday-Monday need to change. It should atleast be open 24 on Friday into Saturday and Monday into Tuesday. I feel like because of the inconvenience of not being able to work out on Friday night past 10pm I wish I had an Anytime fitness membership again where I could workout regardless of if staff were present or not because thats what Im paying for. Maybe one day theyll accommodate those of us who work late hours and would rather be at the gym versus a bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Other than that the equipment, maintenance, and integrity of the gym are 5 stars!

This place will charge your account multiple times a month. Also on days that are not scheduled. Even if you are current they will find reasons to charge you. I DO NOT reccomend you use planet fitness they are finding new and creative ways to charge you just like verizon

Great place to workout if youre not a body builder. EVERYONE is friendly and the equipment is well kept.

Cant beat membership for $10 a month! Basic gym with cardio and weight machines. New equiptment. Free weights are limited though.

Only planet fitness that isn’t 24/7 all the time, it’s really odd and it kinda sucks!They also don’t let black card memebers bring their guests in for the hydro massage...Charlottesville one is 100x better!
