All around bad service! I should’ve read the reviews, they completely stopped servicing our pool (without our knowledge) over a misunderstanding. I calledand left messages and after the second message, Misty called back to tell me she had emailed me....WITH AN ATTITUDE! The communication between the company with me (the customer) was horrible. We asked to get our pool inspected as they had just been hired to do our pool services, she stated they couldn’t do it my husband asked why, seeing this is a service they offer and she stated they just didn’t have the time. So ok, that’s fine, we can’t do anything about that. We just had to find someone else. Long story short, we came into town to get things out of our pool house and storage and our pool was GREEN! I called and left messages and finally I spoke with Misty and she stated they STOPPED doing our services because we got upset that they didn’t do our I inspection as well as I asked too many questions when it came to the services they we’re supposed to be providing. (A service I was to pay for). The worst part about this is NO ONE had enough decency to pick up the phone and give us a call to say they weren’t going to do our service! HORRIBLE customer service! So after a MONTH when we drive 7 hours into town, this is what we see! Won’t go into all the details as there are so many, I would just use another company! Period! Save yourself the trouble and READ the reviews, I wish I would’ve. They said they made attempts as we didn’t, which is incorrect. She said my husband CANCELED service, which isn’t true, we never canceled. She also stated that the water was too low, just put water in the pool (if this was truly the water level, why not turn on the hose? Why did you NOT have the chemicals you needed? You’re a pool company....but HONESTLY that’s not the issue either...the tech they sent out did NOT have everything he needed so he called another tech to ask if the could bring something to him but they couldn’t. Therefore I called and asked about the cleaning because I hadn’t heard ANYTHING from MP and Misty said someone had did the work on my pool which hadn’t been done, my realtor called them out on it and that’s were this disconnect began. When I called on numerous occasions, she said they’d emailed and I explained on more than two occasions that I didn’t receive anything from her, maybe it’s going to my spam. I don’t know! But again, you see all the reviews on bad communication, why not pick up a phone and call your customers as well as an email? Either way, the new home owners have been BLESSED with a PHENOMENAL guy that now has our swamp of a looking pool like an oasis.There was never an invoice because there was NO done!This is just horrible, even if she THOUGHT we hung up on her...which we didn’t, be professional enough to say; (ON THE PHONE) Hey I just think we should part ways, instead do nothing and let someone’s pool get to this level of care.I wish you’d not be so offended and say; you know what...maybe these customers might just be 1/4 right about our communication. What can we different? Read your own reviews!

Misty was so delightful to speak with and very transparent on times. She advised equipment has been hard to get. Also let me know construction times are taken alot longer than normal. Where other companies did not let me know what is going on. I would say get all these questions answered before going with a company. She was very informative and kind.

We HIGHLY recommend Method Pools. They have serviced/repaired our pool for FOUR YEARS. I cant say enough wonderful things about Grant and Misty!! We have exceptionally high expectations, and they always go above and beyond to take care of us! I would give them 10 stars for customer service, timeliness, communication and more! I would skip over any negative reviews, because weve never had those experiences with this amazing company.Below is a recent photo of our pool. Although it has been tough year so far for the ice storm, Method Pools has been compassionate and friendly. We understand there are no equipment for some repairs Grant has still gone above and beyond to get our pool up and running. This team has provided us quality service. Whoever answers the phones is super friendly and always a pleasure to talk to! So glad we found them last year and have been very pleased with service! Highly recommend Method!

Celina Reevers review is spot on to what we experienced. Luckily our pool is beautiful in the end, and we are very happy with it. The process was pretty stressful but we are pleased to be able to enjoy it now. Communications skills are their main job and theirs is extremely poor, as all contractors work for all the local pool companies. On a positive note- our pool is gorgeous and they had the best quote.

Whoever gives a 5 or 4 start review it’s either a complete liar or it’s a friend of the owners. I’m not gonna get into all the details. First, they building process is extremely long almost double than the competition. Communication was terrible, the only time Dylan showed up to my house was was to pick up the checks. Lastly, Methods is telling me that I owe them money. However, I inquired multiple times about the “balance owed” and Dylan never reached out to me to clarify my account. I asked several times to speak to owner which is Dylan and he NEVER had the time to call me . I honestly don’t know how they are still in business.I personally know of 4 people who built a pool with them and they are also extremely dissatisfied.

We hired Method Pools to build us a new pool and they did a wonderful job, the pool is beautiful and they honored their word and backed up everything they promised. We had looked at many pool companies and many designs but Method Pools was the best at building pools and their prices and the Crew Matt, Dylan and Andrew went beyond being helpful they even help with our HOA concerns and Misty is an Angel she is the most helpful and considerate assistant anyone could ever hire always polite, nice and helpful every time always in a good mood wouldn’t treat anyone bad I’m thankful for Method Pools no one can out class Method Pools.

Didn’t even show up for the design meeting today. Receptionist told us she couldn’t get a hold of the Guy we were supposed to meet with. Super disappointed as we had been looking forward to this for WEEKS now. We waited for 15-20 min and still hadn’t heard anything back.

Dylan is great! i had a pool built by him and his crew and it was amazing, my pool turned out beautiful and i couldn’t of asked for anything better. i know this last year has been challenging and frustrating with covid and back ordered equipment but the end result is beautiful. thank you guys !!

We trusted this company with our pool and simply put, they let us down. The receptionist Misty has the worst customer service Ive ever experienced.They left us high and dry with no explanation or fore warning.We were out on business for three week to return home to find our pool had been neglected.Our pool was green and full of vegetation.Thanks Method Pool, we live and learn.Never again!

We hired Method after getting about 5 other bids from pool companies. We were sold on the fact that they are local, had all great reviews, and the fact that we were told that Dylan was friends with Lucas from Insane Pools and they were thinking of doing some work together. When we hired them, finish time was estimated 8-10 weeks. Excavation started August 27. My #1 complaint is the lack of communication. We had to reach out via email every time to ask for updates. We never knew when we would have a crew coming into our backyard. Do you know how unsettling it is to be loading your suitcases in the car when workers show up and ask if you’re taking a vacation??I understand with COVID everybody is looking into pool construction, but we went from 8-10 weeks to 18 weeks when we finally did pool school. Yes, there was rain that collapsed the pool and delayed things, but honestly if we had some form of communication it would have made everything so much better.The pool design was exactly what we wanted. The finished project is beautiful. If only we didn’t feel that the project manager was always trying to avoid us unless it was time to collect money, but even then it didn’t seem like money was much of a motivating factor for them. I really wanted to like them.I would not recommend them based on the lack of communication alone.

About 4 years ago I purchased an older home with a pool. I immediately started service with a different pool company and within 3 months I had an algae bloom. I contacted Method and they fixed the bloom right up. I guess that was why I remained loyal to them despite the occasional poor cleaning, failure to empty out my skimmers or some other small thing.Another more serious issue came up about a month ago. I had a card on file with them the ended up being frozen for suspected fraud. I didnt really notice since I seldom if ever used this card and pool service was one of only a few things auto withdrawing. In the middle of Oct, I noticed that no one had been out for a few weeks so I contacted Method to see what the issue was. I received a message back saying last months payment was rejected and they had tried reaching me via phone and email (they listed my phone #) I responded that I thought the email from Joe Davis could be spam since there was no reference to Method on the email notification and the number they had on file was wrong. Method responded by saying the email was marked as being from Method and she knew the number was correct since she had called me.At this point I was being called a liar and I figured I would not continue on paying someone that has called me a liar. I gave her my correct number and she called me looking for final payment. I pointed out that she had called me with my actual number and she still said, havent I spoken to you on the phone before? I was flabbergasted that there was no apology she still refused to admit she did anything wrong. I made the final payment.Well this is already too long, and I didnt eve get into the fact that they blew me off a few times about a pool remodel over the years.My hope is they will realize that pool cleaning and service is a luxury to a lot of folks and treat their customers better.

I was sold on using Method pools by Joe Davis. sadly what went from great expectation from speaking with him. Has now become just a great sales pitch... all the services described in the companys site and given verbally to get the business doesnt exist. I have I have been literally calling and emailing begging for some type of information as to why my pool has now sat for the month of August untouched! My completion date was 8/31/2020. I was told one tale after another then more of the same no answer no show. It was hot and dry all summer rain was not the reason for my lack of work. I was to have decking here 2 wks ago no show no call, I call and email and then finally told oh they are coming Sat.. no call no show againMy yard dug up left useless all summer while they enjoyed theirs no doubt. Now we are getting into the rainy season and I see this being drawn out using this as the new excuse. I wish there had been more honest reviews posted before we started. I have several neighbors who like the finished project but didnt warn of the LACK of communication and the NO SHOWS for work. Now I am hearing about it as they pass by and say you still waiting?... truly disappointed.

I’ve never tried so hard to throw 50k at someone to do a job and them be completely disinterested. Why go through the work to image a design, give a quote come out and measure for a pool and then ghost a customer? I’m glad I found out before the possibility of a half done hole in the ground with contractors that disappeared.I’m happily under contract with a larger local pool company that I trust & will be breaking ground in less than a month!

It took several contacts to get someone over to measure for a pool. The phone mail goes to a personal mailbox. For a construction foreman not sales. It was about a month from initial contact attempt for someone to come. It has been several weeks without an estimate or any contact. I have sent emails and no response. I cannot ever hire a contractor that does not get back to me in a reasonable time. I have 30+ years in commercial and residential construction as a superintendent for large ($1 billion) and small (&500 k)companies they would never step on my job site

Where do I start? To give perspective, we are nearly 7 months in on a $120k pool/outdoor patio project which we were told on 11/30/19 via email from Andrew G. should take 12-14 weeks. Do the math, we are more than double that time frame as of now, which we still have no finished pool or even poured decking. You would think a project of this magnitude ($$$) would not get put on the back burner, think again. Here are just a few reasons why you should look elsewhere when picking a pool company...1. Ive lost count of how many failed city inspections weve acquired thus far and there are still more that need to be done2. Joe Davis (the founder) has been M.I.A. ever since he gave us the initial bid to do the job3. Dylan (head of construction) was there for the initial dig and thats been about it despite my emails to him expressing my concern4. Nearly everything is contracted out to other smaller guys separate from the company (ex. plumbing, electrical, tile/stone work has all been random other companies they get to do their work). I realize other pool companies do this too, but it would be nice if ownership would get out here themselves or hire another company to finish a job theyve got paid for!5. I have had to constantly call and email them to get any bit of attention to our job, otherwise it may be a couple weeks of nothing done which Ive gotten used to at this point unfortunately.6. They finished the prep work for the decking to be poured before realizing the gas line had not been installed (this has caused over a month delay due to this error). This is just one glaring example of lack of professionalism & lack of communication.7. They put the pool pumps in the wrong location (lack of communication from their designer to the plumbers they hired). Granted, I will give them credit that they did correct it later by moving it to the originally designed and requested location.I could go on, but you get the point. In fairness, the project is not done so I deserve the right to change my final opinion (review) whenever, (if ever) it is completed by Method Pools. It would be nice for ownership to own up to this situation, but I havent heard a peep from them (maybe Ill finally hear from them after they read this review).

Very friendly family owned business. Every interaction with Method has been professional and timely.

Not a bad service, but there were some hiccups. Our pool/spa would be mostly clean after service. They did keep the pH leveled, so theres that. Going with a different service/pool cleaner this year.

Dylan and the guys at Method Pools are amazing! I’ve been using them for multiple years and I couldn’t be happier with their weekly cleaning service. The technicians are nice and always make my pool look great. They’ve done several equipment repairs for me as well and everything has always been top notch. I’m a super satisfied customer and recommend them to everyone!

LOVE THESE GUYS! Weve always dealt with really good people from Method. Most recently, my board went out, and they sent a technician the next day. The technician, Grant, was really nice. He was very professional, and he knew what the problem was immediately. He brought the board and he fixed it in about 20 minutes.

The biggest thing that stood out about Method Pools is that they service pools as well. None of the other builders we met with service them, they only built. To me that shows they stand behind the product they build. We’ve had our pool for nearly 2 years and are just as happy as day 1.

The people who work at Method Pools are top notch. They offer fantastic customer service and quality. We had our pool re-tiled by them and we also use them for weekly service.

We had several bids, Method was our favorite, but we were a little skeptical with Dylan being a bit younger than most of our other bids. We called several of his references and visited their builds in person. That gave us confidence to give them the green light and let them transform our backyard. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We got a pool/spa and outdoor kitchen, it took about 6 weeks from dig day to completion. He or one of his staff were on site for every sub that showed up, we were surprised with how much supervision they had on our job. We opted to have them take care of the pool and we highly recommend them.
