Getting a little warm and humid in the storage area. 87 is great in the winter. Not so good when moving items into a storage locker.The frequent audible alarms durring normal business hours are a nuisance and unnecessary. Please speak with your supervisors about remedying the issues. Seven times in one hour is 7 too many. Customers shouldnt have to invest and carry earplugs to risk permanent hearing damage. Approaching 100 degrees in the loading area. Irresponsible to call the storage Temperature Controlled.
Great service everytime. But I always use the app to rent. Easy process. Responsive staff to issues/concerns.
The fuel level was wrong at pickup which I brought to their attention and thought it was resolved. When I dropped it after hours they charged me extra fuel charges and when I disputed the charge it charged me anyway. The next day I had to call them to get it straightened out. I got the credit put back on my card but there was complete lack of concern for why it went wrong. They tried to blame me for over charge, good thing I had pictures of the dashboard gauges. I got the impression the fuel overcharges are a regular occurrence.
Wasted 30min of my day for them to tell me im somehow linked to a guy named Ben ready and now i cant rent a truck, this place is a joke
Vary clean and nice lay out. Vary helpful employee staff. So far so good right now. And nice to see uhaul is practicing safe distance and wearing a mask.🙂
This Uhaul location is fairly new. The facility is easily accessible without having to contact or ask for help from employees. I was pleasently surprused with the cleanliness of both the facility and each individual storage unit. However, after trying to receive help from the employees, I left feeling quite irritated! Not only did I have a difficult time locating an employee for help, but I was given nothing but an attitude from the one employee that I could find on site. Along with that, the prices are ridiculously high. For a 10x10 locker, the price is $129.95 per month. So if you are looking for an indoor unit that is clean and easily accessible regardless of the price, this is the location for you!
They charge me for rental that I ending not taking it they said they will not charge me but they did anyway and there’s no one to resolve the problem they transferring me from one person to other very poor customer service I would give them 0 stars rip-offs !!!! I will never rent from them!!!

I was leery on using this location, based on the Google reviews I had read, but as it was a necessity to rent a truck, I needed to give this location a chance. Nick is who answered my call each time and he couldnt have been more polite or professional each time we spoke. I mentioned how my experience wasnt lining up with the reviews and he did say that he was brought in a month a ago...which adds up. I think there was an issue previous to Nicks arrival and UHaul recognized it and made a correction. All good on our experience and when needed, we will return!
Understaffed and slow. Why should I go through all the registering on the app rigamarole only to have to stand in line for half an hour while the one guy working here takes his time working through the three groups ahead of me.

Terrible customer service. Had a reservation and I arrived on time but they only had one person at the desk and helped everyone without a reservation and I got my truck 30 min late. Plan ahead and don’t come on time I guess
Reserved a truck to get there to pick it up and find out it didnt have enough seating for 3 people. No where were we asked how many people were going so we were never able to specify. Fine, whatever, guess we will suck it up and get a bigger truck. Except that the guy ACTUALLY SUGGESTED that we put my 9 year old daughter on a step stool in between the two seats. WHAT?!? Seriously?!? Put my 9 year old on a step stool with no seat belt and then drive across the country! No!Also, that one truck was their ONLY out of town truck. They had a parking lot FULL of trucks of all different sizes, but they were all local only. For real? How? If they arent reserved then why make it so someone cant rent it merely because they are moving out of town instead of in town? We couldve easily rented a van, but they were all local so we couldnt take one. Seriously annoying. Definitely wouldnt recommend.
Helpful staff. Returning a rental truck during working hours is MUCH simpler than the App.
I waited over 15 minutes to purchase one mirtor frame box. Was never even acknowledged by the counter associate. When she went outside with another customer again with no acknowledgement that three other customers we waiting...i put the box back and left! Will not be coming back...Ill drive to the the West Allis location on highway 100 before returning here...and I live only 1 mile from this location...very disappointed! Customer service stinks!
An older man helped me at the counter and it took more than 45 minutes- an hour to rent a simple trailer because he couldnt figure out the computer. What got me was that he kept taking multiple personal calls while assisting me and kept swearing in front of me ( a customer). But when I returned the trailer later in the day, the people were helpful and kind.

I havent even rented the truck yet, and Im forced to, so when the day comes its going to be difficult Im sure. I called to get a quote about a big move 2000 miles across country in july. I didnt want to lock in a reservation yet because I wanted to look around and see what options are in the area. Uhaul is unfortunately it. The woman I spoke to didnt want to give me information because I didnt want to put my card down to hold the reservation yet. She said verbatim, its not worth my time to tell you the information because our rates change so much and by the time July rolls around our price could have doubled or even trippled what horrible customer service.. I was planning on making a decision within two days. She refused to give me information still. I asked about insurance, since this will be a long drive. She gave me the price, which is actually reasonable, then I asked if it covers the truck if it breaks down during this 2000 mile journey. She said it might not? Sorry, if your truck breaks down because of a bad part, then youre paying to fix it. Im not shelling out another 1500 to get another uhaul. Absolutely ridiculous.
Good god how hard can this be? It took 45 minutes to get a trailer which I registered for online. Completely incompetent staff. Why register online when they re-ask you everything? The bro associate with the man bun finally said I need to go have a cigarette before I snap and left us at the counter. Horrible.
First I got cancelled on for my first appointment to install a trailer hitch. When I made my second appointment I mentioned I would have to wait there until my car was done since I didn’t have anyone to pick me up this time. They said it was going to be 2-2 1/2 hours since there was someone else already getting their car done (even though I had an appointment at 10 and got there at 10). So I waited and went for a walk, when I came back 2 hours later I noticed they didn’t even start on my car yet. When I came inside they didn’t mention anything to me about the wait or how much longer it was going to be. So I had to go up and ask why my car wasn’t done yet. They said the car before me wasn’t supposed to need wiring, but then found out the wires were bad so they had to redo everything and it took a lot longer then planned. Then you should’ve let me know and worked on that car later and started my car who had an appointment already that got cancelled on once who you knew the person was waiting there!! It ended up taking about 4 hours, and during that time, the customer service was awful and they didn’t keep me informed at all. No discount or apology after everything... never going back here, wouldn’t recommend this location.

I had a hitch installed took 2 hrs. I havent used it yet but it looks like quality work. My brother in law swears by uhaul for having a hitch installed.
The guys working this location made our move pretty simple. I booked everything online, and just had to show up to do the final paperwork upon pickup. We also ran into a snag for time during our move. I called customer service and they gave us an extension for using the truck with no issues. Id gladly use uhaul again to move.
I was satisfy with assistance manager ideal. She resolve my problem for 24 hour lock out. But give me 24 hour remote to inter the garage door.
They were very organized and every thing was ready for me wen i got there since i reserved the truck. Only thing was the gas wasnt where they said it was so that ended up costing me an extra 10 dollars witch sucks. So just make sure u check ur truck b4 leaving
Manager Lee was very helpful in making sure I was charged correctly. Staff was a little confusing with unaligned return options, it would be beneficial to request a print out of the exact steps when dropping off your rented vehicle if not returned during business hours.
Getting the vehicle was fine. Everyone was friendly was helpful. When we turned it in though the older man who was checking the vehicle was extremely rude and was completely unhelpful.
If I could rate nothing I would have. The person working the counter was extremely slow, and had 4 people waitimg when I got in line. 20 min later he tells me I couldnt purchase the small dish boxes I wanted without purchasing the dish package set....all I wanted was the boxes. He said I could use what I wanted from it and discard the rest. Why would I buy the set to not use it just to get the box I originally wanted in the first place?!? Then he says I can buy the other small boxes available, thanks genious If I wanted the thinner box for my China I would have bought those in the first place. Wanted the thicker box, he wouldnt sell it to me. Stupid.
In and out fast
It is a uhaul place. You can get trucks and trailers to help you move. Its pretty big so they have a bigger selection of items you can rent. They also have boxes and packing materials to help you move as well.
Even though there was only one employee working there today, he made sure we were taken care of as quickly and efficiently as possible. Good job!
It tool 45 min to rent a trailer and we were the only one in the store. The guy didnt know what he was doing. Didnt know how to use the computer and his cellphone for stuff He didnt even know the size of the trailers that they had he was going to go out to the lot And to measure them for us I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE IN WAUKESHA
Went there to rent tow dolly. Got rear ended with it. Took right back and he said I would have a credit. Went there to weeks ago or so and the person working said I didnt have a credit. So bbni paid for it 63 for the rent and the 75 dollor despot. The guys said he couldnt rent to me that I owed them money but they owe me the manager never did he credit to my account or the accendient. The guy still rented from me and took my money and Ive been fighting for weeks to get my deposit back but they keep jerking me around because I never rented it. Have receipt for the transaction. This place needs new employees the manager wont answer my calls. 150 dollars they have. Im contacting the news. Imbeselment
Joke. I went over on my initial reservation for days. You would think “Great! More money for U-Haul” Right? Wrong!! So even though I contacted corporate uhaul they show up at my house like a bunch of thugs. Open the door while my wife is sitting in the truck, take the keys and force her out and take the truck. Not only am i not paying the extra hundreds of dollars they had coming, I am going to contact uhaul, the BBB, contact 6 and whoever else will listen. I rent a truck and spend more money then anticipated and they treat me like a criminal. Unbelievable. This uhaul dealer is a joke at best
I was third in line just to buy some moving boxes. Waited in line for 40 minutes and gave up and left. Went to a U-Haul location in South Waukesha (off of Sunset) and had a much better experience
Stopped by today with a simple question about a hitch. The counter person couldnt get into his computer, so he called the Manager. The Manager was rude and demeaning. The facility is really good, the people are very unprofessional.
I’ll never use U-Haul again. These place are so understaffed and horribly organized.
Absolute terrible customer service. First you prepay on line for a hitch install, I arrive on the day it is scheduled 6 days after ordering to be told that they dont have the parts in, and that they will be in at 3pm but the installer will be gone. Reschedule for 3 days later and get cancelled again the day of because the parts arent in. They blatently lie to you. I reschedule for a week later where the manager says he will install it, I arrive and am told that they called me (which they didnt) and cancelled again and that the Manager is not in that day. This business deserves to have no business whatsoever for being dishonest, and terrible customer service.
I had a good experience, although the wait was pretty long. And if you rent a truck pay attention to the fuel gauge, guy ahead of me in line was very unhappy to find out how much he had to pay for a small amount of fuel.
Everything went smooth, but they seem a bit shorthanded. Long was line with only one person working the desk, and even though the sign told me to wait for someone to come out, after 5 minutes I had to go in to get somebody.

Reserved truck one week in advance for early morning. Still waiting three hours later, even though they sent a replacement truck from Milwaukee over an hour ago. Manager keeps passing blame and making excuses. Worst U-Haul experience ever. One star is over rated.
