The YMCA in Waukesha is a great place for the whole family. They have a wide variety of activities and classes available. The staff are always very nice, friendly and helpful. I always feel very comfortable there.

Their is bigger and better gyms in the area but this is the place….some of my best memories lifting are here.

I’m come here with my mother that is disabled and try to get her to do exercises in the pool. She really likes to get in whirlpool after a good water workout but Lifeguards on duty seem to not ever control the people using it (15 mins only). Also elevator for disabled people seem to have issues because doors don’t open how they should. I’ve tried to address these issues but nothing has changed. Please try to do better and enforce the rules you put in place.

I need to go the YMCA and get a good workout. Much better workouts there versus at home.

Love the YMCA! Front desk staff are great and a family-friendly atmosphere. Lots of equipment and never need to wait for my favorite machine!

Great experience, however the lesson times should be longer.

The YMCAs Fitness Instructors are the best in the industry. The Healthy Living Programs that the YMCA offers to the community are truly awesome. These classes range from healthy cooking demonstrations to exclusive programs for those in the community that have received a cancer diagnosis (LIVESTRONG at the YMCA). The facility offers a warm water recreational pool in addition to a lap pool. The people who greet you when you walk in the door are so friendly - they can make your day.

Welcoming, encouraging, friendly staff. Always willing and able to answer questions about programs or equipment. I feel very ‘at home’ at the Waukesha YMCA.

They have great classes for kids! Love their 4K! The front desk staff are also very nice.

The biggest hurdle for me, is having my workout bag ready. With the Waukesha YMCA, I dont have to worry about that. For a little extra on my monthly membership dues, I get my own locker to put my gear in, when Im done working out, I strap my clothes, throw them in the laundry, and theyre in my locker and ready for the next day.

My son attended the child/parent swim lessons and it was his first time in the water. The instructor was great and very flexible to his mood/needs for every class. Definitely recommend!

Charging full price during Covid19 with limited amenities is unfair to the paying guests.

Susan at the front desk was amazingly hospitable and kind. I was in town for business and didnt know the layout of the gym and she volunteered her time to show me the ropes. If I ever come back to Waukesha, Ill be going to this YMCA!!!!

Facility is always clean and staff always friendly. My daughter is in gymnastics. She 5 and has learned a lot in just the 5 weeks that she has been in it. She loves it so much that she takes 2 sessions a week. My older kids love the school age and teen area that they have and the kids basketball gym. I made the right decision to join the YMCA in waukesha in February 2019 and will be a member for a very long time.

Ive been a member for years, and I really enjoy the place. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The building is older and has been expanded and renovated over the years, so the layout is a bit convoluted, but the facility is well maintained and the equipment is state-of-the art. Programming is constantly updated, and the vast majority of the classes are free to members. We joined when our child was young, and the youth programs were fantastic. Plus, I could drop my child off there and never worry about their safety. It has a real focus on the community, not profit, like some clubs/fitness centers Ive tried. Im very happy here and plan to be a member for a long time to come.

The Y is more of a family oriented place, but also has all encompassing activities that other gyms might not offer. Notably, the basketball courts and the full pool offer variety.

The preschool is great and the teachers are fantastic. The building is very old and it doesnt appear like any renovations have been done. The staff is mostly friendly, but a little pushy for my liking. As members we have to check in at the front desk, the person working the front desk is older and sometimes forgets if you have checked in, they have made me check in twice within 5 minutes before. I understand its a little hard to keep track of everyone who has checked in, but when I told him I just checked in, he questioned me and then said he didnt believe me and made me dig back in my purse to get my phone to check in again. Every time I go there to drop off my daughter for preschool I literally run in and out with my head down or else I be asked by staff if Im going to be working out? Why Not? You dont have time? Why? What are you going to be doing? Lol its a bit much and pretty annoying. After June 2017, when my daughter finishes preschool, we arent going to continue our membership.

I came to use this facility today. I am a y member but my primary membership is at another location. This is the fourth or fifth time Ive used this location and probably the 20th time Ive used a location other then my own. I was asked to fill out a form and told I needed an ID. I said I didnt have and that I had never been asked before. His response was its the law. First off, pretty sure its not the law. Company policy yes. Since Id been there multiple times before without being carded it obviously is not enforced. Also, I had my 2 year old daughter with me. I just really didnt appreciate having to drag my daughter out in Sub-Zero temperatures unnecessarily. If you are going to have rules, it would be great if the enforcement wasnt on a because I feel like it basis. It would be easier to know what to expect.

Always very nice and friendly. Wish it was more updated but it offers a lot and has great staff.

Signed my two children up for two seperate parkour classes. I drove 23 miles there and there was no gym set up and the instructor never showed up and never answered their phone calls. I told them I would never come again and that I expected a full refund. They agreed to a refund. Still waiting...Editing to add that I was never provided with a full refund.
