Thankful for Pat from Ace Hardware for digging me out as I had a leaking pipe. Call a plumber $150 or have Pat make me a $10 fix for my water filter. He has now made my wife happy as we have NO leak. Thanks so much!

Been going to TNT Ace for 20 years. Mark has a nice operation going there and some talented people working for him. I was really impressed with Pat recently who gave me some very good advice and valuable knowledge about putting in new grass and the products to utilize. Nice to know there are people their that care and are willing to share their knowledge.

Needed to fix an original 1960 Kohler leaky faucet. Matt was able to rebuild it in under 10 minutes! He saved me a lot of time and frustration with his knowledge of the product. Always a pleasure stopping in, theyve got a great team.

Everyone was super helpful. Not quite the selection of metric hardware I was hoping for, but not really any different than normal in the US.

I gave two stars because the service was good and the employees friendly. However, mask wearing seemed somewhat optional. Two employees were not wearing their masks. One even asked me if I needed help! I wanted to tell him he could help by putting on a mask. I guess I should just go to Menards.

Got two different keys cut from the machine at Menards... Neither of the keys worked when I got home. Decided to try the ace where Pat was super helpful and cut the keys with no issues when I got home.

I cannot share enough praise for this store!!! The variety, prices...but mostly the most amazing staff Ive ever encountered at a hardware store. They deserve well beyond 5 stars...I plan to frequent Ace A LOT!!!

Always clean and the folks who answ r your questions are always very helpful.About 10 year s ago, I bought a glass grill from here. The young man who helped me noticed that out car was too small. He asked where we lived (at the time it was 8 blocks away), and he helped me load it into his own pickup truck and let me take it home. That was the single greatest customer service experience Id had to that point and I struggle to think of another. I will always return here.

Excellent service. Knowledgeable employees. Pat was fantastic with his advice for running pex plumbing in a field stone basement. Couldnt be happier to have them as my local hardware store. Hence forth, they will be my first stop before trying Menards or Home Depot.

Great place to go if you need some solid advise or need to find an exact size screw or nail. Someone is always there to greet you and help you. Prices are higher than Menards or Home Depot, but you will get first class service. Always a positive experience.

Great place for most hardware needs. I am usually able to find what I need. The staff have always been nice to me, albeit evey now and again their knowledge is lacking. But thats normal for almost all chain hardware stores. Good place if you like ACE anyway.

I have never been to a more friendly or helpful store in my life. These gents are very helpful and you can tell theyve done many of these tasks before. Also the store is very clean and has a great mix of new technology as well as the tried and true tools you need. I highly recommend.

This is the place to go if you need help finding a particular prefer if hardware, you can almost always find someone to assist you here. They are a tad more expensive than the big box store, but if you are shopping for something little and have to go back to the store three times to finish a project, like me, its great to have a neighborhood store. They also do small wiring and appliance repairs, which is hard to find this day in age.

Wonderful hardware store that is great for convenience and a friendly face and a quick helping hand! But if you want to get it cheaper then you will need to go to the big chain stores. But also if you watch the ads you can also find a good deal or the out of the way item, if you will.

I would give them 10 stars if it were possible, for the service we received. We were in the process of staining our cabin and they walked us through all the different products and the best way to approach the project. When we informed them that our cabin was 2 1/2 hours away, they said that they would understand if we wanted to purchase our product from someone closer to the project site. (Note, this was over $1000 of products - who does that these days?) We ended up purchasing our product from TOMCHEK Ace Hardware and we are SO glad we did. Everything worked out perfectly with the project and they refunded our money on the unused stain, no questions asked. Truly top shelf service and they will have all our business going forward.

OK place, easy in and out - but you pay for it. This place has a limited selection over home depot (obviously) and the prices are about 20-30% higher. The good thing is that Ace Tomcheck is close, has great customer service and a knowledgeable staff. Just about every time I walk in I am greeted and asked if I need help finding anything. You dont get that at the big box stores where you are even lucky to find an employee and even luckier to find an employee that is knowledgeable. While the better customer service and convenience may offset the high prices the only negative experience I continually have is their return process. Occasionally I have had to return an item or two here and every time I have done so a manger has to be called and you have to give a detailed explanation as to why you returning it. The sales clerk has no delegated power to authorize a return. I just dont like being treated like I have in the past for making a simple return either because I didnt need a product or wasnt happy with my purchase.

Ive been going here for over 20 years. Always had good service. Cashiers are friendly and say hello assuming they are not in the middle of ringing a customers purchase. Staff are friendly and willing to help, almost too friendly at times sometimes I dont want help. But theyre just doing their job, they will back off if you just say no thanks. Prices can be a bit higher than places like home depot but Ive also found some of the items I buy are better quality at Ace - hose clamps, nuts, bolts, general hardware for around the home. I will keep going here, its close and convenient.

The moment I walked in I had someone asking to help me. The salesperson knew exactly what part I needed and found it for me immediately. The cashier then was extremely kind and cheerful. I had a very nice experience at this store.

We used to live nearer to Elliott Ace in Pewaukee, and I always swore by them as true representatives of the Helpful Hardware Folk. When we recently moved closer to Tomchek Ace, I thought I would give them a try. I needed some washers for a simple project so I figured, why not pop over. From the moment I walked in there was a noted difference. The place seemed gloomy. The fluorescent lighting even seemed to be under-powered in a penny pinching, not a warm-tones way. The cashiers looked like the typical kids who took the job because it was what they could get... but that they would rather be somewhere else. Not a welcoming smile in the place. The guy who helped me find the washers I was looking for (I was looking for a box of them, but it turned out they only sold these particular ones individually) managed to come across as condescending in helping me with even this simple request. There is sometimes a fine line between being genuinely helpful and being condescending - and it is traced as a friendly smile. Over a handful of washers and dour condescension they have lost my businesses. I will be going to Elliotts where there is a marked difference in warmth even in just the store layout and everyone seems to actually really enjoy trying to help you with your projects.

Had key cut didnt work brought back with the lock cleaned up key works now had 2 more cut both worked first time would buy again pleasant place to buy from real people!

Very bad customer service. I bought 4 gallons of paint and 2 gallons of solvents. The paint samples on lid he left wet.He didnt put it in a cart and I couldnt find a cart. The ones at the door were full of painting equipment being used in the store. So a 60 year old female lugged 6 gallons to her car with wet paint on them. No offer to help.NEVER EVER AGAIN

Went in the get a small pecie of plexiglass cut. I told them the dimensions and quickly cut it but they never asked what material or thickness. So they come back with regular 1/16 glass. That wont work for my project and when I told them that they got upset. They did cut a piece of plexiglass but the cut was sloppy. Im now spending a fair amount of time sanding it to make it straight. :/Great price, but not so great customer service.

Always disappointed when I come here. They are the only hardware store on that side of Waukesha and its tempting to stop there rather than head to Menards or Home Depot across town. Still, the selection is poor, pricey and if you get cornered by their helpful people, probably talked into buying the wrong thing. Save the trip and head towards Bluemound, youre going to be headed there anyway.

Better than Big-Box Store

After 2 ice storms and 11 inches of snow in 2 weeks I was scrambling for ice melt. Tomcheks had tons and people running bags out to cars! If you need ice melt go there now!
