We had a corrupted file and I.T. Connect was the fastest to respond to our call. The owner made sure to talk with us and had one of his employees come out the very next day. Excellent experience! We burned up a chip on the circuit board of an encrypted hard drive by plugging the wrong charger cord into the drive. After looking around for a legitimate data recovery company (there are A LOT of gimmicky ones out there), Jason from IT Connect was very quick to respond to my email inquiry and very transparent about cost. I also liked that I could drive to the business and physically drop the bad drive off and pick the new drive with the recovered files up at a business, versus shipping the drive to who knows where. There is just more peace of mind dealing with a company in person with something like this. Turnaround was just a couple days and rates were very reasonable compared to some of the quotes I received. When my hard drive died, I panicked and was about to give up hope as I had another company look at it and was told they werent able to recover anything. Then I stumbled across I.T. Connect. Jason was great and was able to recover all of my photography sittings! Great knowledge, a local company, and very reasonable prices. I felt so much better leaving my items in someones hands vs. shipping it to some unknown. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I called IT Connect needing to recover images from our computer that no longer booted up. I spoke with Jason and he asked to bring it by same day and I did. I stopped in and within about 15 or 20 minutes he was back with all the images I needed put on my portable hard drive. He was able to get me what I needed at a very reasonable price. Very friendly and knowledgeable. A competitor said my data recovery would be over $700, and I would save $80 by buying a $199 servicing contract and it would take 3 to 4 weeks (but I would have to pay $120 to expedite service to maybe 2 weeks). I called IT Connect and they were willing to stay open a few minutes longer to discuss services they had to offer. I dropped off my external hard drive on friday and it was ready for pickup on the following week. The best part was that I saved money and didnt have to buy stuff I would probably never use. I highly recommend that you see them first. Dont waste time trying to go through a big box store.

Know how to get the job done

Very professional, but $850 to attempt to retrieve my hard drive data with no guarantee was iffy.

I initially sent my hard drive to another company to recover, not knowing if IT Connect could handle the job. After a ridiculously expensive quote, I had them return it and I took it to Jason. He called me within hours to give me the pricing structure and let me know how he would proceed. Within a day he called to say he was able to retrieve almost everything. I dropped the external hard drive off the next day and he had it back to me a short time later. IT Connect was 1/2 the original estimate I received and was able to get everything I needed. They were fast and efficient, not to mention courteous. I would recommend them to everyone I know. I had something wrong with my desktop-- it wouldnt turn on. I thought I was gonna have to get a new computer.. but then I called this place and asked just to make sure and thankfully my problem wasnt that major. They told me my computer just needed a new power unit, and after a couple of days in the shop, they returned it to me as good as new. The service was quick, and it didnt cost me as much as I thought it would. The place was hard to find at first but the owner told me they were moving some place more visible. If I ever need computer help again, which I hopefully dont, Ill definitely come back here.

IT Connect went above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough!! They did some recovery work for me back in Jan 2015 and were able to save a good deal of the files on a badly damaged, ‘unrecoverable’ hard-drive. A year later (Feb 2016) I gave the hard drive back to them and with newer developments / technology, they were able to recover even more data, including priceless pictures / videos of the first two years of my sons life as well as a 20 page ‘electronic baby book’ that had previously been lost.Jason R, the GM and owner, genuinely cares about my satisfaction. With IT Connect being in the Milwaukee area (Waukesha), I didn’t have to worry about mailing my hard drive across the country or waiting months to hear back. The work was done the same week (next day actually) and was extremely reasonably priced for the data recovery service provided - much lower than some of the other alternatives options I researched (about half the price!). My advice: BACK UP ALL YOUR FILES. But if you didn’t and lost everything, CALL IT CONNECT!

Linux Ubuntu Problem Solved! I was a first time customer. I needed help with setting up wi fi on Linux. I brought my laptop in and they were able to fix it within an hour at minimal cost. I will definitely be going back if future problems arise.
