I took my car here to get the window fixed and NEVER SAW IT AGAIN. Yes my car was taken from the Lott and junked! By the city he said.Since then I have been waiting for him to replace my car. He has given me two titles to two different cars and showed them to me. Then asked for the title back as I was waiting for him to finish fixing the replacement car only to ask for them back saying he can’t get the parts. He finally gave me another car title. And said he was waiting on a part to fix the window. I had to have someone call him daily since covid and I he finally after ducking decided to come through. I rolled down the window and couldn’t get it back up. And took it back. He told me I have to get the part and he will put it on. WHAT. I told him I still will need to get the title changed. He said he knows a guy and he would pay for him but NOT the fees to the sec of state. I went back to the car to leave and it wouldn’t start. He saw this and said. “I’ll put a brand new battery in.” I said ok I’m going to walk and to just leave the keys and I’ll be back. I walked back after finishing up. The key was inside and it wouldn’t start. It was worse than before. I had to walk all the way back home was the bigger issue. I left the key in the box and took the long walk home. This is the absolute worst and yes I know Gill at least I thought I did. This was my first and last time dealing with them. They are not trying to FIX cars or the problems they cause to them. He has his friends who never got there car fixed trying to boost his rating cuz this has taken way to long. My first car was there so long waiting on a part. Then I kept calling and asking for my car. Before finally going there and not seeing it on the lot. He had to find out what happened. He thought it was outside still lol. What kind of business is this. I believe he used it fir parts for someone because he told me it got towed. Then I was like I had things in the car my radio and speakers. My extra key etc. then he told me it got junked. No proof of that. He has dragged me along for years on this BS. Only because he was supposed to be a friend of the family did I let this go on this long. This is how they do friends how will they do regular customers VERY SAD!! I have bought another car since waiting for him. He should just give me some $$ at this point but that’s not happening because he is a hustler not a business man. Kindness doesn’t mean I’m a fool.

I have been using Gil for the past 10 yrs. Our family has 3 vehicles: 2002 Sequoia, 2009 Corolla, & a 2007 Honda. He warranties his work. I did have to return Honda to get A/C unit recharged after 1 yr compressor install which Hi-Tech did. He backs up his services without hassles. Gil and mechanics have always done very good work for me at a fair price.

I am a resident of Chicago who was here in Waukegan and my alternator went out. I did a search and found High Tech. I called and the manager gave me great directions, quoted me an Extremely reasonable price over the phone, and stuck to his word 100% when I arrived. I was there almost no time. The shift started a little after 8 and one of the first techs to arrive started on my vehicle. He not only installed my part without delay, but he was very detailed and specific about the procedure. I was happy my problem was fixed, but I also appreciated how they treated my vehicle, my time and the price of the labor. I would surely return.

Employee: Unprofessional, overwork employees so cars never done when promised to raise hr charge, give low price and steals parts off your car to compensate. Especially if they do not know you. Gil and Johnny works with police and paid to install Gps trackers or wires on customers cars if ask without warrant or valid reason. Speaks inappropriately about and towards women that come in. If you go to another shop in the city they will call them with a higher price, so the quote the shop gives you is high and you come back. A bunch of snakes with smiles DO NOT GO HERE!

Im so done with this place. Ive been back up there with my Car four times, and its still not RUNNING right .Now my check engine light is on and my Car takes for ever to pick up speed. I just pick the Car up today !!! so I will be up there Monday for the fifth time so sad.

Terrible work and also an exaggerated price just for changing 4 shock absorbers the a / c blower 4 front and rear discs they charged me 2105 and the tie rods never changed them no matter how much I told them from the beginning
