I never lived here but all good ratings and 2 not so good.. is a good ratio. I am hunting for a place for someone else and this will be my recommendation. ( if you want a more on line presence you should do like a $50 credit for giving your Google review during like Thanksgiving time for tenants)

I just moved in 3 months ago. I was frightened and uneasy renting a place without looking at it first! My main concerns are COMPLETE QUIET, CLEAN APARTMENT, VERY ROOMY, & NICE NEIGHBORHOOD!515 Madison West is by far the best in Waukegan.I had to transfer to the Great Lakes Naval Base ASAP. I had about 12 days to accept and move. I read reviews and I thought this was the best off APARTMENTS DOT COM. The others in Waukegan had noise complaints and drug use!These Madison West Apartments are SMOKE FREE & DRUG FREE and that is beyond awesome. Land lord Lady is very sweet and the manager Don is one cool dude. I work shift work and I hear ZERO NOISE while sleeping!I promise I will not move from this place as long as I am working here at the base!!!! Thank You! Dean Smith

I lived here for a year while I attended my first year of graduate school. The building was safe and well maintained, and I never had any worries living there. The apartment itself was spacious, and new carpet had been put in right before I moved in, as well as a new paint job. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for a place in the Waukegan area.

Lived there for 8 years. He raised the rent after the first month living there. Just moved out & he wants to charge for carpet cleaning & paint. First of all after living there 8 years of course the apartment needed to be painted. Who wouldnt paint after 8 years but a Tennant should not be responsible for the cost of paint or cleaning of carpets.

Apartment owner Mark is helpful person and nice person !!! Prompt repair and help.

I give Madison West Apartments a 5 star rating. My fiancé and I really enjoyed living there. The apartments are clean and well maintained. Don the onsite manager is a really nice person who’s always willing to help out when there are concerns. Mark Hawn the building owner is also responsive. The building is right across the street from the police station so we always felt safe. In the summer we enjoyed taking walks by the lake. This is a perfect location for a young couple.
