Stood in line for 10-15 minutes. It turned 5pm and I was the last person left in the store. They told me they were closed and wouldn’t help me.I would feel much differently if there had been several people in the store with me still waiting for help and we all had to leave. I would also feel much differently if I had just walked in the store at 4:59.Bottom line, lock the doors at 5pm and help the rest of the people in the store, tell the people in line at 4:45p that they are gambling and may end up waiting for nothing, or actually staff enough people behind the counter that the store can get through everything they need to get through.It seems like, every time I’m here there’s always something. *shrug* (usually it’s not enough employees, too long of a line/wait)
Consistently have had negative experiences. Post office employees have been abrasive and rude on every single occasion I’ve been here.
In and out quickly on a Saturday, early AM. I wasnt sure whether I wanted to use priority or certified mail. The gentleman was able to explain the differences in a clear and concise manner.Overall, efficient and professional service.
I’m completely disgusted with the way my husband and daughter were treated today. My daughter had an 11:45 passport appointment made online. She gets there on time and they tell them the person who does passports is at lunch and to come back after 1. Well they can’t do that. My daughter had to go back to work. I would not recommend this post office to anyone ! My daughter is in a time crunch for a passport and now it’s delayed even more because of them. I wouldn’t even give them one star. That’s not how you do business. I will never step foot in there again and I will tell everyone I know to stop going there!

Really bad experience. Me and my wife were sending a package with 2 day priority delivery and the person didn’t scan the package so we couldn’t track it for a while. Also the package got lost and no one didn’t help us there when we came in person. Otherwise do not send something important through USPS!!!Won’t come again!!!
I am appreciate all they hard work but sometimes the prepaid label that drop off in the cart didn’t shipped same day, it scanned and shipped out the next day instead, very disappointed.
No complaints here. Had a couple packages to ship, which the personable staff was happy to help with. I can see how it might be a little different situation when it gets busy in there like most post offices, but as for me and my experience, everything was on the up and up.
Fair office. You can get what you want done here rather easily. No problem so far.
Would be nice if lobby hours were expanded and a box for packages was installed but they have a cart for prepaid packages. One of the other reviewers dinged one of the guys behind the counter for being, shall we say blunt...Have you noticed how people get to the top of the line and chit chat endlessly with the clerks while people are waiting? Feel free to keep things moving right along Mister Postman.USPS was not designed to please those with an expanded sense of entitlement. It is what it is. Thanks for the service.
Fast, efficient, friendly. Had 2 packages to mail. The clerk helped me choose the most affordable option and explained the pros and cons. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes despite being 3rd on line when I walked in.
Have tried to call four times. The first time, someone answered and hung up before I could say something. The three subsequent times, the phone rings for a little more than three minutes and is then disconnected. They have been sitting on a certified letter for two weeks that they havent delivered. Can I ask about it? Apparently not. Amazing incompetence. Sounds like there may be an attitude problem as well.
Employee looked in my package. Damaged the contents. Would not apologize. Would not even let me mail it because she gathered intelligence about my packing material that prevented it from being shipped media rate. Two stars because to the best of my knowledge the place is functional, and the employees are probably competent on days I dont go there, and I dont want you to think Im just an implacable axe-grinder. Heinous experience nonetheless.
I congratulate the staff on hating their customers and showing such derision and contempt as to be comedic. The man who served me insisted on scrolling through his phone before helping me. Or did I enjoy the way he pushed my stuff out of the way? Thank you for leaving a taste in my mouth worse than week old KFC.
They stopped forwarding my mails to my new address wihtin 3 weeks....I signed for 6 months....Anyway, I had to pay almost 20% fees of certain bills and I didnt open some important mails on time.Thank you guys !!PS : I didnt like my first job when I graduated, so I preferred to quit than not doing it badly.
If you come here and see a balding man with glasses working one of the counters, turn around and LEAVE. Take the drive or the bus or even the walk, if at all necessary, to the post office on either Watertown Street or Galen Street or even one of the other post offices in Belmont or Waltham. This guy makes his own unwritten USPS laws and spews total lies to the customers in the worst possible attitude. He enjoys giving people a hard time and thinks its funny. Worst of all, hes been working here for YEARS and the place doesnt care about a single thing he does. DO NOT support this total dump of a post office, especially one that keeps someone like him for so long. Spend your time elsewhere so you can avoid being put in such a sour mood.

Ive always found the Watertown Post Office to be dependable for shipping my mail-order packages out promptly, for courteous personal service, and for its great location right across the street from the Watertown Free Library. This is one of greater Bostons best, most efficient post offices.
Just went in to do a passport replacement. Easy and great service!
The man who answered the phone is not friendly and not interested in helping. He said he can’t help me and gave me a different phone number to call that is busy every time I call. And told me the mail does not get delivered from his site.
Took 3 weeks to implement mail forward. Over an hour trying to call number to clarify. No busy signal, no answer
