The lady at the counter was very friendly in helping me to find a wedding ring that would line up nicely with my engagement ring. The quality of it was exquisite.They lose a star because they told me I would have my rings back (my engagement ring and wedding ring were being bonded) in 2 weeks. In reality, it took a month. Rather than lie about a timeline to keep our business, we would have preferred honesty. We had no issue waiting a month, however don’t tell us it will be a quicker turnaround then become agitated when we call for updates.

Over the last two months, my husband Bruce and I have had a fabulous experience with this jeweler. I inherited some pieces and with Kim and Scotts expert help, broke them up and recreated some beautiful jewelry that I actually am excited to wear. I had an idea what I wanted, but Kim gave invaluable advice every step of the way and doubtless saved me from some poor choices. From parts of two outdated rings and a set of earrings, I now have a lovely solitaire pendant and beautiful dangling, four-diamond earrings. A three-diamond ring that was reset, and enhanced with halos, is now a showpiece. My husband ordered a new double milgrained wedding band in rose gold, which they had specially made for him without our having to commit to its purchase before we saw it (needless to say, he loves it). They also created cufflinks for him from jewelry left me by my grandfather. They cleaned and restrung some pearls, which went from dowdy to gorgeous, and did an incredible job cleaning an intricately engraved pocket watch from 1898. As I live over an hour from Watertown, this necessitated some work over the phone and via FedEx, all of which was managed easily, thanks to Kim. Overall, Kim, Scott, Mike and Amber were outstanding to work with and I do not hesitate to recommend them. If there were six stars, Id use them all.

My future husband and I shopped a lot. We wanted a great quality diamond at an affordable price. Kim & her staff helped a TON. They werent pushy at all. Extremely patient and kind. My engagement ring is more beautiful than I ever dreamed! I am so grateful that I went here instead of a chain jeweler. Save yourself a huge headache and drive over to this store.

I love this store! I went to the big name jewelry stores in the mall first and I really regretted it. Perrywinkles far surpasses the other stores in quality, design, price and customer service. Our experience at Perrywinkles has been phenomenal. On our first visit, the ladies were grilling hot dogs, for their guests, making for a very casual atmosphere that was further reinforced upon entering the store. My fiancee and I have been working with Jessica for our jewelry needs for many years. We first worked with her when she was living and working in North Carolina and she has helped us with everything from watches to engagement rings. As luck would have it, we all have moved back to NY and there was no question wed be making the 2 hr drive to come see Jessica at Perrywinkles when we began shopping wedding bands. Jessica and all of the staff were very helpful and I cannot recommend them enough. We were able to find a wedding band that we are very happy with and look forward to continuing to work with Jessica in the future.

I cant say enough about Lorraine. She goes above and beyond to help out in any way she can. I recently stopped in to have my wedding rings cleaned. They found that a few stones were loose. They sent it out for repair. When the ring was done Lorraine called to let me know. She offered to personally bring the ring to me since we often attend the same sporting events for our children. I told her not to go out of her way that I would try to get to the store as soon as I could. Since she knows that I own a business, she knows how busy I am every day. To my surprise, she did personally deliver my ring at the next event we attended together. I cant thank her enough and appreciate the thoughtfulness. She is a true gem. She makes my experience at Perrywinkles a true pleasure every time I am there. And she always helps my husband pick out the perfect gift for me. She has a way of making you feel special each and ever time.

These people are DISHONEST and UNCOOPERATIVE. My car was hit in their parking lot (the driver left without leaving a note) and they lied saying they did not have cameras pointing that direction (they do) and were not willing to show footage to police after admitting the cameras were there. One can only assume they were the ones who hit my car as many employees have cars that are the color of the paint left behind on my car. I will never recommend a retailer that does not and is afraid to work with authorities to resolve legal issues.

Overall great experience! From the moment I walked in I knew I was at the right place. I had no idea what I wanted for an engagement ring for my girlfriend, Scott and I sat down and he offered me a beverage water, coffee, or a soda. Then we started to look at all the different styles. Five years ago, my husband and i stopped in the Perrywinkles store in Watertown, NY. He purchased me a beautiful diamond pendant necklace. I bought an engagement ring and wedding band here and have not liked buying anywhere else since. Noticeable difference in the jewelry and gems compared to other places I have shopped. I have always loved Perrywinkles at Watertown since my parents started shopping there when I was younger. So when my boyfriend (now husband) and I started talking about getting married I knew exactly where to point him. The amazing staff helped him find the perfect ring!After our engagement we went to Perrywinkles to get our wedding bands. My husband chose a hammered tungsten band very quickly. However, we had trouble finding a band that would fit flush with my engagement ring. Thats when we were informed that Perrywinkles can make custom rings! I visited Thousand Island Diamond Center after calling in first to inquire about having an engagement ring appraised that I bought online. I just moved to the area and didn’t know who to go to. I saw all of the great reviews for this business so decided to go to them for the appraisal. When I arrived I was greeted by Scott (the owner?) and told to have a seat. I showed him my ring which is a 2.5ct untreated peach sapphire on a 14k rose gold diamond band (tdw 0.5ct). He “tested” my ring and looked at it under the microscope. He told me that the diamonds were cubic zirconia and it was a cheap overseas production that I should have paid no more than $500-$1500 for. He asked what I paid for it and I told him $4,000. He basically laughed at me and told me to get my money back immediately, and that he could make me the exact same ring for less. Already feeling very overwhelmed and confused with this information, and about ready to cry, he decided to kick me while I was down and asked me why I would make such a purchase online. (Basically made me feel stupid for buying the ring online instead of going into a brick and mortar to buy a ring in person.) So, afterwards he showed me a few of his “finer” pieces of jewelry (even compared my “low quality ring” to a “high quality ring” to show me the difference). I thanked him for his time and left. I then immediately took the ring to Kay’s, Zales, and Cooks Manufacturing Jewelers in downtown Watertown for a second, a third, and a fourth opinion. Turns out, all 3 of the other places found that my ring is exactly what it is supposed to be. My “cubic zirconias” tested as diamonds at all 3 places. Interesting... 🤔 My ring was valued at $4-5k at all 3 places by multiple people at each place including managers and owners. I will also be going to an independent GIA certified gemologist for a final opinion, just to make sure that the information given to me at Thousand Island Diamond Center was 100% false. As a “professional” and as a “jewelry expert”, I can’t honestly believe that this was just a misunderstanding and that he mistook diamonds for cubic zirconia. I’m just really surprised being that this business has so many great reviews. I assumed that they would be trustworthy and give me an honest opinion to make sure my ring was authentic. He could have just told me over the phone that they don’t do appraisals if he didn’t want to waste his time on someone who bought a ring somewhere else. Instead, he had me come in and then proceeded to lie to me and make feel stupid for purchasing an engagement ring online. Well Scott, the business that I bought my ring from has been around a long time and has many great reviews, just like yours. So when you ask why I would buy online instead of in person it’s because people are no more trustworthy standing right in front of you. In this situation, the online business turned out to be the genuine one.

My husband and I have done business with Perrywinkles for the past 20 years. They are consistently friendly and helpful. Most recently I took 4 rings to their watertown store, one to be resized and another to be repaired ( I am not very gentle on my jewelry ), two others to be cleaned - I had worn the rings and come in contact with a chemical which made the gold turn black. We were greeted by Shawn who used his magical skills to make my rings look brand new again. He even took the time to clean the rings I was wearing all at no charge !! I was thrilled !! I love Perrywinkles. I cant gush enough about how fantastic they are. All the girls are wonderful to work with, and the jeweler was fantastic.

While on vacation in Florida last week my wife found several pieces of Pandora jewelry that caught her eye. She was eager to purchase them that day and I convinced her to wait until our return to Watertown and see what Lorraine could do for us. That was the best decision we made on our entire trip. Not only did Perrywinkles have all of the pieces, they were having a sale and my wife ended up getting a free bracelet. Lorraine was very helpful as usual and helped my wife arrange the charms on her new bracelet. Over 10 years ago, my husband bought me an anniversary band from Periwinkles. The gold had become scratched from wearing and it needed to be resized. I brought the ring to the Watertown store on 4/15/2014. I was told it would be about 3 weeks for the work to be done. My husband picked up my ring today. All I can say is WOW! every time I look at it. It looks like a brand new ring. The jeweler resized the ring, cleaned the diamonds, and polished the band. I just cant believe how absolutely beautiful it looks. Ive always been pleased with the quality of the jewelry and repair work offered at Periwinkles. Thank you so very much for making my anniversary band look amazing and new again.

In fact, the manager even upgraded an attachment, for my grandmothers pendant, at no extra charge because she noticed the quality of the necklace required a little higher quality of bail in order to remain consistent with its beauty.I never mentioned that my items were past down by my wonderful grandmother who past many years ago. Yet Lorraine ensured the pieces were handled and cared for as if the items were the most precious things in the world. Which to me they are absolutely just that. Perrywinkles has definitely earned my vote of confidence and I now consider them precious jewels that everyone should have the pleasure to meet one day.Go to Perrywinkles!
