480 resolution, literally worse than a circa 2015 pirated Twitch cam. HORRIBLE!!! Business switched to Vast from Midco, big mistake! I asked the installer if this was a joke. No joke. Fiber hasnt been installed. Who does business like this? Its so bad, almost laughable. Vast is an oxymoron. More like tiny television.
Had service transfered to a new construction, they had to leave fiber above ground while waiting for their trenching team to come in, I called numerous times asking to expedite the process to get it buried before yard was fine graded and seeded, they showed up 5 to 6 weeks later, a week after yard was complete. They did not call ahead as they stated they would, luckily missing cutting through my sprinkler system, however worst of all the trenchers made 0 effort to avoid walking in the saturated lawn, walking through the entire length leaving large footprints both direction....
Have had some slow problems with them. Biggest complaint is that they are slow to get the town i live in upgraded to fiber. People around us in the country have it already and a town dont makes no sense to me. And they dont give us a tome frame except for when u see the digging you will know.
Speeds not as advertised, they give you an outdated modem and a router I had to replace right away due to software issues frome eero. Fairly usual outages. Prices that rival midco which from what I hear is the better service. I cant think of any reason Id recommend Vast over their main competitor in my area.

Better service, better options and better pricing (better speed/$) than what I had with Midco.
The lady was nice (I forgot her name). I told her that we had two kids doing Virtual Learning and needed better internet. She then found a coupon/discount for us. The only problem is that the internet still stops running when we watch Netflix even though we have the fastest/best internet possible by Vast. Its better then what it was before but not 100%. I give 5 stars to the operator and 3 stars to Vast for their internet.
When my contract is up Im switching providers.
Had the best WiFi out and it was slow couldn’t do what I wanted with it and when i would call they would send out 3 guys to watch one check you connections and restart you system and when it was all said an done they told me they would contact me about a fair agreement but never called back nor settled terrible vast is a**

If I could leave NO stars I would!It has been the absolute worst service I’ve had in myEntire life! Internet never works ! I’ve called and complained at least 11 times since early this month whenI started it !!! BEWARE!!!!!!

Half the time my channels do not work, I get an error signal that say the channel is not available or I need to subscribe to a channel I already receive. VAST is unwilling to invest money to provide quality service for the high price and minimal channel line up.
Have been double billed late payment fees on top of that. Cant get refunded. Cant get through to local office. I do not recommend
Customer service that is absolutely unbeatable! I was having issues with my modem and the lovely ladies that had to deal with me were absolutely awesome! To top it all off Vast upgraded their packages so I got a free upgrade on my internet service!
Promised my services would be lower than what I was paying.. then bill shows up with a ton of hidden fees broadcast surcharging.. sports surcharging ect.. internet is good! But will cancel the tv package..

Updated...in response to reply......i have emailed as they asked and never a reply from them.....By far the worst experience of my life....I had the largest internet package available and still couldnt surf the web or play a game....I would be watching TV and all of a sudden I wouldnt even have cable. This company is the poorest for customer service aswell....Id go into the office in Watertown ask questions and get nothing but attitude from the lady working there. She never had answers to the questions Id ask about my bill and when I would ask her to find out something well that never happened either.....go elsewhere if you want to enjoy what you pay for avoid these guys at all cost

Vast broadband is a joke and a scam. 😡 Internet was paid and they tried charging $50 over the bill when paid until something was said about how they were trying to charge the incorrect amount and now theyre trying to charge me for the amount paid last month plus another month. Im not paying $150+ when I paid $101 last month and am supposed to pay $51 a month after. How is this even legal?
They will take your service down for hours without telling you beforehand.They may be cheaper than Midco but they are far less reliable.
A viable alternative to Midco...same pricing and packaging.

Hello for those of you who read these! My name is Jill and I feel very compelled to comment on my experiences with Vast Broadband. I have been in Corporate America my entire life, for example, I used to be the Director of the Training and Development teams that trained 60,000 employees at Best Buy corporate office. What is apparent to most people, especially upper management, CEOs, CFOs and Presidents, is that too much emphasis is placed on the few irritated customers who do not hesitate calling in to complain when they are subjected to a poor experience whether it be customer service, product issues, or overall anger due to a business that over-promises and under-delivers. What CEOs and presidents often forget is that this small fraction of people who complain dont represent the majority who are happy with the product and services. The result is this; the wonderful people often times get overlooked and that is why I am not a fan of online surveys and heres why. The dollars that we spend trying to figure out why a tenth of a percent of a fraction of the people who arent happy could be better spent by rewarding the employees who are outstanding and investing those dollars in training and raises for those who stand out in the crowd. But instead we would rather pull up the website and see the seven comments that are negative it makes no business sense whatsoever. And it is not an accurate assessment of how your business is running anyway. This is why I want to take the time to explain my experience. I was visiting a friend the other day who was switching companies to Vast Broadband. While I observed the two men working I noticed that one of them stood out and his name was Damien Harvey. He was the installer and the way that he operated and conducted himself was amazing. This young man is only 19 years old and he was so respectful and he was so helpful in explaining every detail of not only the cable TV but also the internet and I dont believe that I saw him without a smile on his face once. It was almost like we all wanted to hang out with him for the day he was so much fun while he was working. I was pretty happy with my cable company but I thought if this is the kind of service that they always demonstrate I want to try it. The following week I called Vast Broadband and spoke with Larrene Kaderabeck in the call center. It ended up that I talked with her 3 times and when she was not available she returned my call within minutes. We had such a great time chatting on the phone that we forgot what we were even working on. Any employee who takes that kind of time to actually answer the phone let alone going the extra mile to get to know a client who theyll never meet rates number one in my book because when I pay my bills each month online if I have a question I have yet to find a real human being that is not computer generated. So the installer Damien and the call center woman Larrene were two amazing people to work with they were outstanding and then to top it off I wanted to call the person that they reported to and leave a message about my experience and how fabulous it had been. Knowing that this general manager would probably not have the time to even listen to the voicemail I forgot about it. Within 2 hours Mark Bookout the general manager called me thanking me for my kind words. They say chivalry is dead and I believe that customer service is as well. This was the exception to the rule. I have been in retail my whole life so a great big shout-out and kudos to those of you who when the cat is away the mice do not play. Jill

My bill went up $20 already this year!!! It went from $153 to $173!!! Probably going to switch to a different company. Im getting tired of the price hike.
I live in the center of town and cant get a good signal at all. Have had them come to my house and fix it three times in one week!! This company sucks for internet!! BUYER BEWARE!!!
