I had a great visit here. I am very sensitive and the dentist and hygienist were very respectful and accommodating. They were on time. The reception team was friendly and helpful. I did not feel as though any services or products were being pushed on me. Highly recommend!

I had broken a molar in June and finally made my appointment with Dr. Gupta. She and her assistant took very good care of me and fixed the tooth. I am very pleased with the care I get as I have been since I started going to American Dental.Then, because I had gum issues, Dr. Gupta advised that I have a deep cleaning and scaling, rightfully so. I had that done on August 13, 2021. I was terrified because of some stories I heard about this being very unpleasant. Dr. Gupta was sweet, calming, supportive, gave me novacaine which I didnt even feel, and it was over in no time at all. I was pleasantly surprised!. Then the hygienist came in and cleaned my teeth!As a kid I was traumatized by my dentist and felt such terror even thinking of going to any dentist, even as an adult. I have always had and still have terrible gag reflex, especially with taking dental xrays. Dr. Naji, the first dentist I saw when I first started going to this dental office, understood that and worked around it with the Panoflex. It is the primary reason that I went to American Dental. That was a few years ago and I have had such excellent care by all of the dentists. The office staff are so nice and friendly too.The amazing thing is because of the care and support that I have always received from American Dental, I am, at 69 years old, no longer terrified of going to the dentist. Thats amazing in my opinion!. Thank you to everyone at American Dental!!!!

Ok, so I will begin by saying I havent been to the dentist in over 10 years. Something about the dentist gives me anxiety and after years of putting it off, I begrudgingly scheduled an appointment in the Watertown office because I was having extreme pain in my throat and thought it was the result of an infection. The guy who scheduled my appointment (forgive me as I have a terrible memory with names) was friendly and knowledgeable when scheduling my appointment, comforting me and letting me know that I had nothing to be embarrassed over, even though clearly I was. When I arrived for my appointment, the office was clean and organized with friendly, smiling staff eager to assist me. My two nurses and dentist (Dr. Gupta) were professional, respectful warm, friendly and engaging. You can tell the love their job and that is important. Very important. They made me feel like I was an actual person and didnt judge me for, very obviously, not taking care of my teeth in the way that I should. I cant say that all my fear went away because I DESPISE the dentist, clearly, however this experience was incredibly smooth and I look forward to being a future, REGULAR, patient with Dr. Gupta and the staff at American Dental.Thank you for your kindness and professionalism.

Just had my first cleaning here! The overall experience at American Dental was excellent. The staff and doctor were super kind and professional. Everything went quick and painless, great athmosphare and I felt very safe with their safety measures for COVID-19.Ill bring my family here again for sure!

I went to this practice in both March and in September after seeing so many positive reviews. Both times I went for my cleaning, they took me in 30 minutes late (plus I arrived 15 minutes early) and both times I went I had a different dentist and they didnt inform me of this change.My boyfriend also went here, they said he needed a mouthguard and charged him hundreds of dollars for it, and they have yet to give it to him or call him about it; its been 3 months since hes been there. Extremely unprofessional, I do not recommend.

I have been 3 times to the Watertown office, for an emergency root canal. I was able get a Sunday appointment with a spectacular endodentist. Follow up visits have been just as great. Their hours are a saving grace, the office staff is lovely and the doctors are skilled. And they took my insurance, which hardly anyone does. Why go anywhere else?

From the front office staff, to the dental hygienist and dentist,(Dr. David), my experience was quite good. They handled a general exam, X-ray and cleaning, (very detailed), in a easy professional manner. All my questions were answered and it was a comfortable experience. I will be returning in two weeks for some reconstructive procedures which will require a higher degree of dental skill. My expectation is positive.

Fantastic Place!Been coming for over a year, I never been to a dentist office or health provider that care so much about my well being. Most dentist offices are gloomy and have aggressive sales pitch at the desk with the dentists answering little to no questions as if I wasnt worth their time.Thats fine with me because American Dental deserves everything and more. A super friendly knowledgeable staff willing to work with you on scheduling and finances, and a dental staff working around the clock to ensure the best of service.I do feel bad for scheduling late because of work commitment but the staff understand and doesnt show annoyance, which is a big plus considering how I avoided to certain health providers in the past because of negative attitudes.I enjoy how they utilize a texting system to remind me of an upcoming appointment and asking if I can confirm that appointment. A lot of time, I cant pick up my phone usually because Im at work or packed like a sardine in the subway. Also, I accidentally throw away appointment cards thinking they were old receipts.Its nice to have a choice to watch videos during my visits but I tend to laugh a lot so I ask for music. Arabic music is very relaxing and if you like guitar, theres plenty of it. The dentist describes the procedure every step of the way and they have a great sense if youre in pain or discomfort even if youre not making any noises.I highly recommended this place and know you cant go wrong going to this dentist office for your dental visits.

I developed an infected tooth after a temporary crown broke off. I sought help from one dentist who prescribed an antibiotic, but didnt feel competent to address the problem himself. On a personal recommendation, I consulted Dr. Bernadette Campos at American Dental in Watertown. She determined what needed to be done, prescribed another antibiotic, and soon thereafter performed the necessary procedure. It was far less unpleasant than I had expected. I found both her professional skill and her reassuring manner most commendable. I would strongly recommend her and will certainly continue to use her services while I live in thee Boston area. .

Dr. Liesen was absolutely the best dentist I have ever had in my entire life. I have never ever had such a fast and non painful root canal before. He explains each step of what he is doing. He is gentle and asks if your ok often. He is seriously an amazing dentist. I wish more dentists could be like him. I have a severe fear of dentists and extreme anxiety when I go to the dentist so I end up swallowing a lot, but Dr. Liesen and his assistant was right on point with the suction and making me comfortable. I literally had no anxiety with him. And I’m not paid to write this review, I’m a regular single mom that just had to rave about how amazing this place is. The front desk staff is great. Especially that guy who also works the front in Malden (forgive me I forget his name.) Just an all around great experience! Thank you to all of them.

From the administrative staff to the dental hygienist who I must say was one of the few people who had ever put me at ease, she even stayed in the room with me so I wouldn’t have to wait alone(kindness that is rare). I have an appointment tomorrow and I am honestly say I’m happy to be seeing her and the same Dentist, the kindest I’ve ever met, who took the time to reassure me we would take things one day at a time. I can’t speak highly enough of this staff and to anyone who has anxiety to full blown panic over dental procedures, GO TO AMERICAN DENTAL. I was really pleased with the service and work I had done here. I had an infected impacted wisdom tooth that needed to come out. I was very impressed by their responsiveness and customer service. I dont remember getting the teeth out, but I do remember they were very kind and arranged transport from my hostel to the serviced apartment to the clinic. Getting wisdom teeth out is no fun, but I had no complications and minimal pain and they did an overall great job. Plus the clinic was clean and busy. Will definitely be back for the rest of my wisdom teeth this summer

Where do I begin, all my life I absolutely hated the dentist! Terrible experiences since childhood I thought that for sure that I would have to get put to sleep to get my wisdom teeth extracted and on my first visit Dr. Naji pulled them out with no tears! 💪🏻 Hardly little to no swelling I didn’t feel anything I had a mash potato bowl from KFC the same day which I might not recommend the corn gets stuck lol 😂The recovery was less than 3 days after getting 4 extractions and saving me thousands of dollars felt pretty damn good.The reception was amazing at scheduling my appointments. Genesis is so helpful to me she is always calling to check up on my visits. Everybody that works at the Watertown office are so kind they really take the nerves of being at the dentist away you feel right at home. Don’t plan on going anywhere else ever so please don’t loose these people 💕

So I have a completely irrational fear of the dentist (also known as a phobia), and many dentists and office staff in the past have brushed this fear off stating, Oh, it will be fine without truly trying to understand the nature and severity of my fear. The office manager, whos name I dont know how to spell (I believe it was Shaina) was AMAZING. AMAZING. If it wasnt for her calm voice on the phone I dont know that I would have walked in that door. Once I got there on my appointment day, she took me in the back and we had a conversation about my reservations and fears. She COMPLETELY put me at ease, which made working with the dentist much easier. While I have a LOT Of dental work in my future, I can say, my first foray into this dental practice has been phenomenal. I highly recommend them. I wouldnt say Im looking forward to the work I have ahead, but Im sure grateful its with this dental practice.

On Wednesday, January 15 dentist removed my wisdom tooth. It was the worst experience of my lifetime.Dentist did a local anesthetic on my left side, after looking at it for 10 minutes he numb the right side. I asked him why are you numbing, he did not say anything then asked him again he said “we thought we saw something, now we are going to remove the wisdom tooth on the right side”. He started the extraction, he couldn’t pull the tooth. He called the other dentist and he was able to remove the tooth.After the extraction, he said did not required a follow up. He did not prescript pain medice.On Friday, my face had swollen and I had so much pain. I called the dental office they prescript 800mg ibuprofen. On Saturday pain has increased and my face swollen more, the ibuprofen was not working anymore. At 11pm on Saturday I called the dental office, I spoke to operator and she said she is going to have the doctor call me. I waited until 1 am, no one called, I called back again, the operator said the same-thing. I didn’t want to wait, I went to Emergency.At the ER they did a CT scan, after CT scan doctor diagnosed me with an infection. To reduce the pain they gave me gave me Oxycodone, IV, and steroids. Doctor prescript Clindamycin (antibiotic) and Oxycodone. Following morning I went to see the oral surgeon. I had hard time opening my mouth, after 2 weeks I’m still taking antibiotics and having hard time opening my mouth.

I had a great experience with them!! Ill always recommend them coz they are the best in the area! The people who work there are so nice and helpful! Whats more important is the treatment and how they always smile what makes me feel more confident! Keep the hard work up!!!

This place made me feel so much more confident in my smile! My smile now is STRAIGHT and BRIGHT. I also compared and did my research on pricing since i knew the results I wanted could be costly, but they had the best prices.

So far this is one of the best experiences Ive had in my years of going to the dentist. Very positive and friendly, also my insurance pretty much covers about 60 percent but they gave me a way better deal on co-pay.

I went into the office expecting the worst, but not only was it pain free, the Dr fit me in for two extractions I desperately needed when he was clearly booked solid. I was so relieved and thankful, I thought it would be an awful experience (Im a coward when it comes to the dentist) but it was exactly the opposite. I’m so glad I found this place and all the recommendations and treatments I had here was life changing. I’m very confident at my job and in general becaus my smile is amazing thanks to them.

I had unpleasant experience on my first visit, however, my second visit exceeded my expectations. I can attest that Zaras (manager of the outfit) commitment to excellence is second to none. She insisted on correcting the unpleasant experience I had and she ensured that I received an outstanding service by assigning Dr. Hadadi who was phenomenal. I was very satisfied by the outstanding services rendered by Dr. Hadadi -- from routine exam, to cleaning and whitening my teeth. I am not easy to please but I was very pleased by the services provided by Zara and Dr. Hadadi.

Update 4 days later no calls, will not answer my calls theyre replying to look good, I have not heard from them since October, called and texted and not one response answer or reply, have a great read ! Already got 1,800 back from care credit more like American RIP off, asked 3,800 for 10 invisalign alingners (380 per tray ) a teeth cleaning and whitening . I found the average price for 10 trays was around $2,000 after I had agreed on a price (3,800) when I came in (almost a month later ) for my molds (of my teeth) to start the invisalign process, they then changed the price to 4,900 for 10 trays . I spoke to someone in their management on the phone, they said sorry like it was no big deal to adjust the price 1,100 . (I did not pay ) we will give you a teeth whitening for free, (2 times they tried to hustle me or get one over on me ) they then asked for half of the money down, and held my retainers I paid for hostage like I was 5 years, so I contacted my care credit who they recommended, (paid me my down payment back by check ) and now to contact the better business bureau for the other 750$ I paid per(250) visit and will get all my money back, they refused to replace my (invisible caps) brackets (which cost .40 cents found out when I contacted invisalign) which are vital to progress with treatment . I have spoke to invisalign and mutiple orthodontists, they give you your trays up front all of them, And your teeth whitening first is recommended, this place is a scam, BBB rating is awful

American Dental of Watertown has changed my life.When I first met this team of dentists and their staff, my teeth were in need of a cosmetic overhaul....I was embarrassed to smile.Upon entering this establishment, I was greeted by a group of receptionists and staff named Lisa, Zhara, and Linh. The way that they assisted me was just amazing.Not only were they kind, they were also courteous, knowledgeable, and considerate.Even was able to have a great cup of coffee while waiting to see the Dentist.Once seated in the chair, the assistant treated me with all the same qualities as the front office staff....absolute care.I had the luxury of being consulted by two Dentist..Dr.Naji, & Dr.Bender.Both Dentist helped me with options to choose to restore my smile that would serve my appearance, and finances alike.Today I have a smile that is second to none, and it didnt hurt my wallet half as bad as it could of elsewhere. I have found a confidence in myself that only makes me smile all the time.This Dental practice is the first one that I ever visited where I couldnt even feel the needle when they numbed me.When I count my Blessings....I count American Dental Watertown twice.😀😀I would never recommend another Dentist
