Wouldn’t recommend. I had an appt here a few days ago, waited for a couple hrs for the mechanic to come back out and tell me that nobody had a Cadillac converter that I needed and there wasn’t one in the US & my car was very unsafe to basically junk it… I then went directly to the auto parts store myself and found the part, and went somewhere else! Very disappointed with their dishonesty..

Fit me in on a Sunday with an immediate solution to my problem when there was no other place open and he was fully booked for the day. He was extremely polite and helpful even after having to answer my phone call three times that morning with updated information. He really made my day.

This was my first visit. Setting up an appointment online was very simple. The staff was friendly and fixed my leaking tire quickly. There are so many places for car/tire service around here it seems but I will come here again.

Ive attempted to use this shop 3 separate times now about 2 years apart from each. Each time I was met with the most rude and unprofessional employees Ive encountered in the area. Services Ive attempted here were tire rotation, simple lug nut lock removal, and simple state inspection. Their prices were not competitive with the area at all and they lied to my wife about a problem with our newly purchased car that upon later discovery was not in need of repair. They have no concept of customer service and basically refuse to work on a customers vehicle if they already know the issue. Tip for the owner? Hire a manager and staff that have some customer service skills. Im not just some Karen from the internet, Im a customer youve repeatedly lost due to poor customer interaction and rude staff.

Took my car a for an alignment and when I picked it up it seemed like no work was done on car since it still pulling. Called them up, they said bring it in again.When picking up the second time the guy said he drove it and he didnt feel any pull when I brought it in but still looked at anyways. Just getting to the car you can see the steering column completely . The car was pulling slightly before taking it to this shop and ok to drive but now pulls a lot more than before. I am not going to risk taking my car for a third time and them possibly screwing up my car. If you are looking for an alignment go somewhere else.

Needed an alignment and was able to get in and get it done with out a big hassle. Pleased with the outcome. Thanks guys.

I did contact the number for the owner. Mr. Tire is a division of Munroe. I cant divulge too much at this time but it does sound like it will be handled. They agree that people should not be treated that way. If all is resolved, I will come back and edit my review again.Steer Clear of Mr. TireI have known them many years. They used to be Kost Tire. In all of these years, they haven’t changed a bit even under new ownership. They are still the same despicable service center that they have always been. Recently, I went there to ask whether they had the brands of tires I wanted and, if so, how much. I needed four new tires. Immediately, the man at the counter told me that they didn’t have any of the ones that I was looking for but they could special order them for a fee. I asked what they had in stock similar to the ones I wanted. They had GTs. You know, more expensive sports car types. Finally, I found one that they would get for me from Mr. Tire in Rochester. Then I was at the price question. How much are yours? He told me the price. Then I asked whether Mr. Tire does military discounts. I’m a veteran. He told me that he had seen the price of the other service center on my phone and that he was already charging me less. How much less? $2 per tire. I told him that I figured it would be that way. So, I’m going to the other service center. Personally, I have never seen Kost Tire, now Mr. Tire, give a fair deal in over 20 years of dealing with them. This is another service center to steer clear of. I have yet to go to the other place but when I do, if all goes well, I will let you know where the better place is. Got a same day appointment booked online. Got me right in and out. Got to listen while I waited and the guys at the desk treated every customer just as you would like to be treated. Great service!

I stopped today for an oil change, I asked them to check on my brakes which were feeling shaky, and a tire that went flat over the weekend and was patched by Walmart. They said everything checked out fine and only charged me for the oil change! The brakes even felt much better on the drive home, they have a magic touch. Always reasonable and honest. Rich is very helpful.

One of the guys sold me a set of rims even tho he knew one was cracked but its my fault I guess.

We went shopping around all of Watertown looking for nice tires at a good price. What they gave us and the price they gave us was absolutely unbeatable. They saved us over $250 for the exact tires we were looking for. There Fair and the reasonable!

These guys are awesome. Stopped in there the other morning because I thought my parking brake was stuck and needed to get it checked out before driving back to Ontario. They looked at the truck right away, let me know I just needed fluid, topped it up for me and sent me on my way - with no charge! I hope I dont need auto repairs the next time Im down in Watertown but if I do I will definitely take my truck back here.

I went Thursday for a tire rotation/Balance, and an alignment.On my drive home back to Rhode Island, constant vibration on my steering wheel... scary ride home!!!At my mechanic in Rhode Island... outer tie rods had SERIOUS PLAY... how could an alignment be done when the rods were THAT bad.Out 120 bucks!!!Buyer beware!

Their competitors will try to scare you into buying all 4 new set of tires, when the simple solution would be to patch up the tires. I went to Goodyear and Midas only to be slap with ads for their tires.Mr. Tires is straight to the point, and from what I experienced did not appear to be taking advantage of inexperienced, easy target. Thanks for the quick fix.

They got me in same day and service was complete within a few hours. Anywhere else I called wouldnt touch my car for 4 days. They are amazing mechanics that give you the best deal with a smile!

My Cooper tire took a road hazard early in the morning, called Mr. Tire they ordered me a matching Cooper tire and had it in that afternoon. When I arrived they mounted and balanced it within 20 minutes. They were all plesent and helpful, best part was the price was very good about $50.00 less than the first place I spoke to that I wont name, they said it would take up 2 days for a matching replacement. All said and done I definitely will conduct my tire business at Mr. Tire from this point forward.

This is the only place Ill go in town. The guys are so very helpful and make sure I really understand what needs to be done with my vehicles.The only downside is that the shop is freezing cold right now! If that could be fixed, Id be more comfortable waiting for my vehicle than having to drop it and run.

My vehicle was in for a wheel bearing replacement on July 13th. I was there bright and early at 7:30, because I was told over the phone, that they dont do appointments, its all on a walk-in basis. Due to the nature of the repair I expected a bit of wait. Around 10:30 I was told everything was finished. I paid and went to leave. I got in my car and when I started it up the ABS/TCS/ESP BAS lights were on (the sensors are in the wheel bearing). I walked back in and told the supervisor. He brought out a handheld computer to wipe the lights, and was unable to. Must be a faulty wheel bearing out of the box he said. He pulls it in the garage (without writing up a second service order) and completes the repair in approx. half the time. I finally left around 11:30-45. I left a review on their website and filled out the survey on they sent to my email. Today I received a phone call from the Mr. Tire customer service, and after I explained the situation, they told me the following If you are quoted for 2 hours of labor, and the job only takes 1 hour, we still charge you for 2 hours. I repeated what they said to me back to them. They said that is correct. This is extremely unethical, and I will never be going to Mr. Tire for any kind of repair work in the future.

Staff seems friendly and knowledgeable. When I went the wait time was fairly short. I dropped my car off and promptly received a call telling me the issue, time to complete the repair and cost. I will definitely keep returning.

My wife and I have been going here for years, always reasonable prices and everything is done and done well. Sometimes a little wait but that is true of any place that is busy. They do pretty much anything and have a good selection of tires, and get parts quickly. Plus there is a waiting room and bathroom and they are conveniently located.

Incredible service! Fair, honest and never pressures the customer into unnecessary repairs. The shop could have made twice as much money off of me on my last visit by performing the services I requested, instead they advised me they were not needed due to the mileage and condition of my car after thoroughly checking it out and test driving it. The needed maintenance was completed and my rear wiper blade completed. Everything was explained in detail and I not only left with a much cheaper bill than what I could have somewhere else, I felt comfortable and reassured my daughter would be safe driving the car through multiple states. Highly recommend this place of business.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Today they didnt realize anyone was watching and drove my friends truck with two flat tires ON THE RIMS from where the tow truck parked it into the garage laughing the whole time! When immediately confronted they suddenly said they wouldnt work on it. When spoken to about what they had seen them do they replied with I dont know what youre talking about. I will NEVER take any of my vehicles there again. If they do that in front of the garage what do they do inside the vehicles. Horrible place.

I had an emergency tonight 20 minutes before they close. Josh took my call about a screw sticking out of my tire. I dropped the car off and within 10 minutes he had the tire plugged.These are the same people who fixed my handbrake as well. Just good honest people who understand that things can happen at a moments notice.Seriously if you read this Josh, thank you. I use to work in the service industry and if it was that close to close I would have told the person to drop it off and come back in the morning.Thank You Mr.Tire you have seriously a great team working down there.

Please do not go here. While changing my brake pads and rotors last summer. After picking it up, it still was making squealing noises, so I brought it back. When I picked it up the second time, they mentioned that the e-brake had seized up and they had to make adjustments, so now the e-brake no longer worked. I asked them whether they would fix it because I knew it was their mistake because I used the e-brake literally the day before I brought it in & it was working perfectly fine. They told me that they wouldnt fix it for me for free because it was broke before I brought it in. (This was not true, but I didnt feel like arguing).After going to get a state inspection,I could not get it because of my e-brake not working. The shop doing my state inspection (who had very knowledgeable, honest and helpful staff), told me that whoever worked on my car last (Kost tire) took out my entire e-brake system (including the cable). There were absolutely NO parts left to my e-brake attached to my car and theyd never told me. It was estimated to be $1000 in parts and labor to replace this. My car was a 2010. I ended up trading in my car for a new car because it was not worth the expensive repairs to fix this shops mess up. Not only did Kost tire & auto care not tell me about this issue, but they kept all of the parts of my e-brake (worth hundreds of dollars) and did not even mention it.Typical untrustworthy and shady car shop. Go somewhere will more experienced and trained mechanics for brake issues.

Came in and needed work on my differential. Replaced the appropriate seals but neglected to fix the problem that blew the seals. Had to return and have the same job done again. They negotiated prices with me and were amiable.

You gotta find a mechanic you trust and I trust this place. Rich at the front desk is a straight shooter. Prices generally better than their competitors. And if someone elses price is better Mr. Tire will try to beat it.

These guys saved our butts! My wife and I were in town from Brockville, ON to do some shopping. On the drive there we started hearing some road noise and by the time we got to the mall it was clear we had a bad wheel bearing, which is very dangerous to drive with. Looked up local shops and up popped Mr. Tire with great reviews, and they were close by.Gave them a call to see if they might be able to get us fixed up, this was at 1:15 PM. They said no problem, bring it over well get you fixed in a hurry. Well, they definitely did that - they had us good to go with a new bearing and alignment done in less than two hours, so we could get home to the kids.Cant recommend Mr. Tire enough, friendly service, great work, good prices and they came through for us big time!

They went the extra distance to get me back on the road with a simple tire repair. They even waited after closing so i could get there to grt my tire fixed. Would recommend these guys 100 percent

Well, my third year to have Kost inspect car - no problems whatsoever! Before dealer inspection tried to rip me off for brakes, around $600 - as car was only 4 yrs old then took it to Kost and it passed, no problem and has for past three years...............Staff hospitable, fresh coffee and quick service.............Usually people only write to complain so I thought Id write to compliment...........Not the same for Fucillos..................

I went there today for a noise in my wheels of my car and the people were very helpful and the service guy that fixed my car had it done in less than 20 minutes and was extremely curteous and helpful and gave me a really positive experience. Went in for a oil change....DENTED my hood. Two weeks later I noticed my coolant was leaking so I brought it in and they said my reservoir was cracked and it would cost $250 to get it fixed. Got a second opinion from someone whose been a mechanic for 40 years and they said they’ve never seen a reservoir with a SNAPPED piece. Not only that but WIRES were DETACHED in my car and duct taped back together!! This was the only place I brought my car but after a dent, detached wires, and a snapped reservoir...I will no longer go here. Oh and my new trustworthy mechanic fixed my reservoir AND welded my wires back together(which took an hour) for $200. Save yourself time and money and find somewhere else to bring your vehicle.

The moment I walked into the place I had a gut feeling I should turn around and walk out. The shop would most likely fail most environmental, fire, heath, and safety regulations. I purchased 4 new snow tires and an oil change and I left with the wrong type of oil and some serious scratches to my rims. The shop did offer to drain and replace the oil. Initially I accepted the offer however, once I was put in cue behind other customers I decided to refuse the offer. Not to mention I didnt have confidence they would correct their mistake without additional issues.

I had a problem with my HYUNDAI during a visit to Watertown on Saturday- resulting in being towed to Kost tire - the service was amazing - it was wonderful to go to a service garage and feel completely confident - everyone we spoke to - those working on our car - were so pleasant - went out of their way to be helpful - and had us on the road very quickly. Good service but they are NOT FAST. they will not get you in quickly. Call them before you go in. I waited over an hour!!! And that is because we lied and said I was sick to get moved up. We got a flat on the side of the road got towed there and had to sit and wait.....other people in the waiting room who were waiting all had at least hour or more waits as well. Definately not a walk-in type facility!

After a day of misfortune causing two flat tires we decide to get it towed to Mr. Tire My husband saw them as they were pulling the truck into the garage they drive the rims across the parking lot. Laughing. Had to get it towed across the street to Goodyear. I later called them and granted I’m upset, but the guy on the phone was no help, the manager was on vacation he sounded like he just didn’t care and deflected my questions acting like nothing happened. Well something happened. Worst experience ever never get your vehicle towed there.I will not consider you again in the future.

I chose this place based off its google rating. I got a flat tire the night before and decided to buy 4 new tires. I called the shop to give them a heads up I was coming in and they said bring my car and theyll fix it up. When I got to the store I ended up having to purchase two tires that day and come back for two more since they only had 3 in stock. After the two tires were replaced I checked to make sure my spare tire was stowed. I was actually disappointed to open the trunk and see my spare tire just lobbed in there with the cover bent with my jack and tire lug/spindle tossed out of the foam they reside in. Upon getting my last 2 tires I approached the counter when I saw my car being pulled around the front and the worker simply asked Yeah.. ? Like I hadnt been there for an hour or so. I told him I was there to pay and watched him toss my key under the monitor after the driver brought it in, like it was a piece of garbage. I told him that was my key and he had to scrounge around for the paperwork and find the mechanic that did the work to close the job out. Im VERY unsatisfied with the treatment and way they handle business. Definitely will not go back.

Both of my headlights blew and they were able to squeeze me in before closing on thanksgiving weekend. So much gratitude for these guys, exceptional customer service.

I stopped at this Watertown New York Tire Store because my Orlando Florida GMC truck said my right rear tire needed air.I was told to pull up to their service door and an Employee came out into the snow and cold; he filled and checked ALL of my tires.I then went inside to pay and another Employee said “you owe nothing, air is free”.I’m going to be in New York for a few months and I’ll come here for everything that my truck needs that they supply. I have a big mouth and I’ve told everyone about my experience and kindness. I definitely recommend them.Thank you for your kindness on a snowy, wet, freezing cold day to a girl in a red GMC truck!!

Purchased 4 new tires, got oil change and NYS inspection last weekend. I had a difficult situation with my inspection (OBDII computer issue)I was in on both Sat and Sun and was blown away by the superior service James provided.As a former manager of a Dunn Tire store, I have an understanding of this business and the often demanding (and often thankless!) workload involved.Business in the store on Sat was very, very heavy and James did a tremendous job juggling the various duties of advising customers, handling constantly ringing phones, overseeing shop progress/issues and never missed a beat. He quickly recognized that my inspection situation was going to be tricky and gave me options and recommendations. He worked with me and what started on Sat was resolved on Sunday (yes theyre open Sundays)The price I paid for my services was very fair - Most places seem fairly close on prices these days. The service I received was beyond a doubt their competitive advantageMt Tire is very fortunate to have a skilled, personable and dedicated employee like James. Great people make great companies - kudos for a job so well done

Used the app to schedule an appointment. Had it all set up and arrived early. When i arrived they told me they had nothing showing and that there was no availability for me to get my oil changed, said i needed to come back the next day. Well the next day comes and here i go to get my oil changed only to be told that they couldnt fit me in until the next day. Needless to say i went somewhere else and was in and out with my oil changed. Wouldnt recommend unless you want to visit them day after day until they decide they can do your oil change, and dont bother scheduling ahead.

Called for a NY state inspection, the guy said they didn’t do appointments and to come in first thing the next day. Came in the next day first thing and he tells me you need to come back in the afternoon..was rude too just went down the street to monro muffler and was in and out within 30 minutes 👍🏻

They do absolutely anything you could think of and do it for a fair price, not like most chain mechanics that charge triple what the realistic cost would be. They got my repeat business.

No problems. Got a simple oil change and tire rotation. It did take a little longer than expected. But it always does no matter where you go lol. No haggling and checked there work after and all seemed to be ok. All I have to say is they should clean up the outside of the shop. Appearence is everythi ng for new customers.
