Simple question of asking to purchase switch for aftermarket lights on a bull bar turned into a bully session by the parts department. Plenty of other Toyota dealers!
Never in my life have I seen a parts department so poorly run with absolute dishonesty. Placed an order for a 700$ Lexus brake module, promised it would be in Friday of the same week. Day comes no part. Promised again that next Wednesday part never comes. Was informed it was shipped to a different facility, promised the next day low and behold it didn’t arrive. Friday rolls around and they have it. Parts manager refused to overnight after lying 3 separate times. If you value your time and money DO NOT do buisness with Curry.
Last Friday, my 2 daughters were in Southbury, CT on their way to Western PA, when a piece of flying metal from another car hit the front end of their SUV and did some mechanical damage to the front end of SUV. We arranged to have the vehicle towed to Curry Toyota in Watertown, CT. I drove south from Bangor to pick up my 2 daughters and to perhaps tow the vehicle back to Maine. The entire team at Curry Toyota was outstanding. From Assistance Manager Michelle Pratt to the two service technicians that worked on the car, what a remarkable customer experience!!! They were able to look at the vehicle late on a Friday afternoon without an appointment, and they stayed beyond closing time to make sure it was fixed and ready to drive back to Maine. The communication from Michelle was fantastic. As a small business owner, I greatly appreciate the service we received. We made it back to Maine at midnight, and Michelle even followed up with a phone call on Saturday morning to see if we made it back OK. There still is work needed to be done on the car, but they were able to get it repaired so that we could make it back home on the same day. Thanks again!!! -Doug G

We got a great deal, even in this Covid craziness .They always make the process seamless and respect our time ( as we come from an hour away ) Ben had all the paperwork ready to go and Amanda was there to answer any questions we had about our new 2018 Corolla IMs features. They are Top Notch.
I had a good experience buying my Rav4 hybrid but service is an issue. Not service itself but communication. Many dropped phone calls after waiting, appointments not recorded and service rep attitude. Its like they want to be like the big boys but technology they pay for do do this must be low bid. Very frustrating.
Great company. However very disappointed that I was not told that my $30,000 new car did not come with floor mats. Extremely disappointed in Toyota as an organization for being so frugal and Curry Toyota for not telling me that floor mats were not part of the deal.I changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. The sales and management team provided me with new mats at no charge. Thank-you Amanda.
Was frustrated in my service appointment - the plastic wall that forms the front & top of the wheel well came off and I needed a replacement. I booked the appt online for the first available spot a week away and tried to explain in writing what was wrong. I then called to try and get the car in sooner since I didnt want to drive it without the shield and was told no other appts were available so and then asked about getting the parts ordered ahead of time to avoid delays and I was told the technician assigned to my car would call me. They never called. I brought the car in for the appointment and sure enough, they needed to order the parts so after waiting a week, I now have to wait another day. I just feel this could have been handled same day with a little coordination.

If I can give this place a 0 star review I would. Went to the sales manager Jose, Ive never meet someone so rude and a bigger lier in my life. Went for a quote agreed on a car and left an appointment to get the car. Come to find out he raised the price of the car and lie about the price we agreed on.
Service dept failed to diagnose our car made it broken down, appointment reservation is abig joke ehen you call them to schedule appointment, not to mention a lady answer the phone and pretend that she never talked to you, her name Melissa or Elissa!
Went in for a simple oil change. Was told one price over the phone and then was told almost double when the car was done. They charged me for rotating my tires when the tires were brand new and had less than 200 miles on them.
I walked in because my car play was not working. I was greeted by Amanda and asked what was the reason visiting the store. After I told her what my issue was she walked me to my car and fixed the issue I had with my GPS. Very professional. Thank you Amanda.
Mark Finch (one of the finance guys) is top notch. He will truly go above and beyond for his clients with professionalism and communication. I bought my 4-Runner from him and he takes care of you the way that a customer should be taken care of in a respectful and friendly manner. He was highly recommended to me by another individual and that recommendation has held to be true. He exceeded my expectations as an employee of Curry and I truly appreciate it.

Very disappointed in the service of my vehicle and also the time wasted. I have a 2020 Highlander and wanted to have a wire harness installed on the car. Simple enough right call parts department order part ahead of time then schedule a time to bring in vehicle, no apparently there is an additional part you need to order so the vehicle can communicate with the harness. How am I supposed to know to order that part if it isn’t listed on the sheet. There is a communication issue here from the service department to the parts department. So now the part is 3 days out and going to get charged for the labor today not to include the time I took off to come get the wiring harness installed and then additional labor for when the part comes. I live in Danbury and could have gone to the dealer there but I’ve heard some good things about this dealership, but now I will rethink if I want to come here for further services and purchases and I will tell others of this total ball drop.

Best service department In the state of CT. If you have a concern they actively evaluate it, never felt discredited or cheated. Extremely professional. Lory is the best advisor, she’s attentive and focused, every concern I have is addressed. Call Curry and ask for her if you want it done right the first time.

I made an appointment they lied about not having a gasket just so they wouldnt have to do the work. I lost money leaving work early,rushed,got stuck in traffic. When I said this is unacceptable You should give me at least an oil change service for free since I lost time and money they also refused. I wish I could give negative stars.

Had issues with my Tacoma while driving through Watertown, stopped here for emergency inspection.Truck was diagnosed with damaged CV axle, ABS sensor, and damaged wheel bearing. Quoted at $2,000 to repair. Purchased the 3 parts ($100, $22, and $80) myself. Wheel bearing was destroyed, but the ABS sensor and CV axle were fine and I returned them. What was quoted as a $2,000 job cost me $80. Be careful with these guys..

I spent 3hrs working on purchasing aToyota Tacoma 2008, test drive the truck, offered to put down a large deposit, we were working on the payment numbers, when Mark Finch said go home and they would call with details. I called the next day and they claim to have sold the vehicle in the time before closing to someone else??I feel this was a very unprofessional since I was already ready to buy the truck!! BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP, CURRY TOYOTA AND MARK FINCH
I usually avoid all dealerships, no matter the brand, Ford, Chevy, Honda etc., preferring small family owned garages. I have had better luck with them in the past. Recently my main go to garage lost their top mechanic, hes working somewhere else now, where,??, I dont know.!. Started having bad experiences with them after he left. To many to write about. I decided to try Curry and have had nothing but excellent service at reasonable prices. Friendly staff thats very helpful. Curry is like a family owned garage, only bigger. Curry uses only Genuine Toyota parts. That does make a difference, I know because I had problems with parts that were not Genuine Toyota parts. I finally found a good dealership and I will stay with them. Im glad I decided to give then a try.

I was not asked to write this review but felt compelled to after the service we received.We tried to make a purchase in the area we live in but was not happy with the service of that company.I called Curry Toyota and spoke to Lou, I told him what I was looking for and the price I saw at another dealership outside of my state, he immediately told me he will match it and will further more credit me the processing fee which I would have saved going out of state.I was hesitant after speaking to him and not sure it he just wanted to get me to the dealership and then strong arm me into purchasing.However that was not the case, when we arrived at the dealership we met Jonathan Irizarry who was fully aware of who we were, and had the car ready at the door for us to test drive,After the test drive Lou came and was transparent with the deal we had made over the phone, I received a reasonable offer for my trade and got the new car, there was no pressure, no games, just pure pleasantness and honesty between Lou and Jonathan, I have purchased a fair number of cars and this was the best service I ever received.Thanks guys and keep the good work up.Reynold and Dawn Ready, Brookfield, CT

Pre paid for tires the last visit I had, came here to wait to put them on. I showed up at 10:35 for my 10:30 appointment. After waiting an hour I was called to the door (I was thinking I was done) Ms. Rivera said they didn’t know what tires I had purchased and they hadn’t even started the work on my vehicle. Literally just getting 4 tires on balanced and out the door. 2 and a half hours later being told at least another 30 minutes. I knew I should have just gone to town fair tire. If you don’t get a loaner vehicle to go home or do your errands you will waste your entire day. What is the point of schedule appointments? The customer does not care you have one tire machine. Going elsewhere for tire needs.

Only been here for services and must say the people here are friendly and helpful. The service is fair and the prices are relatively competitive.However when looking for a car the salesperson was slightly pushy so pretty much looked elsewhere. This is something you’ll need to go and judge for yourself.

Terrible customer service, was supposed to get worked done to my vehicle here and the woman I was speaking was not concern with the problem I was trying to address with my wife needing a vehicle while the vehicle was being worked on. Also had worked done to my vehicle and the problem is still present. Dont waste your time here go to a different dealership like A-1 Toyota.

It was a very pleasant experience, especially compared to a previous experience when the location was still Branch Toyota. The Curry folks did not make any pressure; everyone was courteous, and I was totally jiving with my sales person. I did buy a vehicle there, the process was quick and smooth, and I Love the car.
I went there looking for a 2017 SE RAV4 and Eddie helped me find the perfect one. I asked them to do a few extra things for the car, and everything I asked for was done perfectly. Mercifully, they took us as a walk-in service after a 5-hour summer trip during which our AC stopped working. Mind you this was on a Friday afternoon close to closing time. For that I am very grateful since we had another 4 hours driving to do into even higher temperatures.Why not 5 stars then? The service seemed overpriced at nearly $200. Given our circumstance, though, I am not going to complain.

I recently bought a RAV 4 and was very impressed with the service from Bob (the manager), Ben (the sales rep) and the rest of the team. I was in a sticky situation where my BMW had just died and I owed a considerable amount on the loan. They immediately helped me and gave me a fair trade in for the car that was DEAD and gave me a fair price for my new car. I am very grateful for their service when most others would have just turned me away. I would recommend them to anyone buying a Toyota!

I went here about a year ago to test drive a brand new special edition corolla. I did the test drive but nothing really spoke to me about the car and after some back and forth with the salesperson I was able to extract myself from the situation.After I told the salesperson I wasnt really interested in the car he kept calling me with different cars. I kept telling him no and that I really was just looking and wasnt in any hurry to buy the car and if I found anything I would like him know. Eventually, I had to block his number- Ill never go back.

I give this place .5 out of 5 and I think that is giving them the benefit of a doubt. If you want a poor used car dealer experience, I recommend Curry Toyota. I bought my used 2015 rav4 in 2017. In less than a year, the fabric on the front passanger side door started to delaminate. The service manager told me it is because of someone constantly putting their arm on the door. Granted I am the only one in this car as it is a daily commuter for just me. I have no kids. When I pushed the issue further, he gave me a number to call and said its on me to pursue this issue further. Also, having looked at the brakes, I saw the pads that were worn were just replaced. They did not replace the rotors and the brakes make a scratching sound. Most recently, I am having an issue with the new tires they put on and am going to have to spend money to replace them as they cant be balanced (bear in mind these tires are only on half the year as I also have winter tires). Maybe to buy a car and take your money they are great. But after that, you are on your own.

Branch really made sure that the car was immaculate and had been inspected from top to bottom to ensure that I was getting a quality car. Great experience! Bought a used Subaru from them after weeks of research on the web. They had the best price and I stopped there first. Salesperson (Seth Kimmer) was low-key and very respectful. When we closed the purchase the next day I was really impressed: they had not only fully detailed the car, but presented it to me in a bay next to the salesroom, just like I had purchased a brand new $35K car! They wanted me to inspect the car prior to finalizing the sales paperwork. The business manager (Ben Mayo) was also very professional and respectful. If the rest of the staff at Curry are as professional as these two young men, I can assure you a very positive experience. No hidden charges or hard-sell for add-ons. (Yes, there is a $499.00 Dealer Conveyance Fee, but that was mentioned immediately to me and was no surprise as every other dealership charges that as well.) A very good experience in all respects.

I just spoke to an extremely rude [woman] in the service department who, with her motor mouth, wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. A rating of “1” above only because a rating of “0” is / was not an option. A word to the wise: This [woman] might very well be the cause of Curry losing A LOT of potential sales and business.

I was very nervous when Curry took over Branch. I wasnt sure that their service department would be as wonderful as Branchs was. Luckily they kept their best staff and the transition on the customer side was flawless. I have to give a shout out to Pedro and Michelle!
I have been using this dealership since 2003. It has always been a positive experience. John from service takes the time to understand my needs & gets the job done quickly.
The new ownership is a let down and I miss Branch Toyota - much more accommodating than Curry. Curry doesnt offer loaner cars for service appointments that take a long time and as a person who doesnt have two vehicles or someone who can drive me around I really liked that aspect. Theyre now telling me I need oil changes more often than I was doing before - but offered no good reason for it. Theres really no other reason to keep bringing your car to a dealership to be overcharged unless youre getting great service.
While Im happy with the results of my recent service visit. Everything is working well. Im not as happy with the price.
Curry Toyota is what you expect from modern car service providers today.Courteous and friendly staff, clean waiting rooms with shuttle or loaner cars available.Documented services before work is done with results afterwards and explained to you.I am a returning customer to Curry and will continue to use their services.I purchased a new 2018 Toyota Highlander that had to be factory built and during my wait, my mother passed away from a long health battle.The sales team at Curry (Lou Calabrese and Eddie Soto) went above and beyond to expedite my delivery so I could have my new 8 passenger Highlander in time for my mother’s funeral services.I could not be more appreciative for this level of care and service.Thank you, Curry Toyota! ❤️
With the electronic sign up in disarray John was shocked to see me, but he took the car in and the shop provided great service! This has always been a great place for service. Nice to see Michelle is back too.

My daughter brought our 2010 Rav4 in for open recalls and an oil change. While there she was informed that there was a nail in a tire, it was losing air and needed to be repaired. What should have been a $30.00 bill for an oil change, she called me to share the tire was losing air and she was given an estimate of $140+ to patch the tire, change a cabin air filter ($20.00?) and change the oil. I told her to take a pass on the air filter and tire repair, get the recall done and come home. On the way home she decided to stop by the local repair shop that just mounted the 4 brand new tires only a week or so earlier. There was no nail in the tire and it was not losing air. Can it be a coincidence that we also encountered a check engine light and found one of the air hoses disconnected? There is plenty of money to be made caring for vehicles without misleading customers. There is a loss of trust and business with this 3 Toyota family.
What a professional dealership we found in Curry Toyota of Watertown. They are very customer service oriented with your satisfaction in mind. They seemed more worried about how the car fits our family needs than the sale. They seem to understand that you take care of the customer, the closing of the sale follows. I have bought many cars in my day and this has to be the best experience from a dealership that I have ever had. No presure sale and everyone there looked like they enjoyed working for Curry.
