Ordered a dryer 2 WEEKS ago, apparently they stopped at my house while I was home but didn’t knock or call and left a note saying they were there, called to reschedule my delivery and was told I’d have someone call me the next day, nothing. Called today and said they will deliver it NEXT Monday, that’s ridiculous. Poor communication skills at its finest.

This store is clean. Its your typical giant hardware store. They have signage up that you must wear a mask. The employees were helpful and answered all our questions. The checkout lines were reasonably staffed. What we needed was out of stock, but there have been issues with oversees shipping lately causing appliance shortages everywhere. Same day delivery was also fully booked.

Love this Lowes. We needed a new dishwasher. They helped us find the dishwasher right for us, set up shipping and haul away, and had us checked out and on the way home - all in under 20 minutes! Thats what I call service!

I usually go to Menards I usually go in an emergency to home Depot Ive never really shopped at a Lowes because where Im from we dont have them but its a nice store everythings so easily laid out you dont have to look so hard to find stuff.

Very clean store. Aisles are very well lit. Lots of help, and they were busy. It is still surprising that people do not know about microwaves. Got tired of waiting for that sales person. Ended up doing a return and purchasing a replacement on line. Still a well laid out store.

Way more options than I had thought for cleaning and home. Was impressed with friendly cashier as well. Nice a clean. Helpful staff. Seems well stocked.

I was extremely disappointed in the poor customer service and ultimately missed delivery that I waited on for an entire day. Numerous phone calls, each time told something different, told I would receive calls and never did. Now waiting another week for my appliance to be delivered. If I could cancel I would, im not motivated to shop at this lowes any further anytime soon.

Their customer service/sales associates are incredibly un knowledgeable. We bought a pedestal for our new dryer from them that didn’t even work on the dryer, the sales manager told us that it was going to work on our dryer. Of course it didn’t actually work with the new dryer. Then we bought a dishwasher and the sales associate swore that the delivery people would be able to uninstall the old dishwasher and install the new one. This was not true, I now have a dishwasher in a box in the middle of my kitchen and a non working dishwasher still installed. We said we weren’t going to buy anything from them after the issue with the dryer pedestal but I guess two years is long enough to forget that the sales associates don’t actually know anything about the things they’re selling.

Definitely the best selection, along with good prices out of all home improvement stores in my opinion. Can usually get a good answer if I have a question.

I love shopping at Lowes, however, we were in the Waterloo, Iowa location last night and was extremely disappointed with customer service. Out of the three Des Moines, Coralville, and Waterloo, Waterloo was by far the worst experience. When we did get a person to help they had no idea how to find out if they had our product in stock. We are going to make our big purchase from another location or business all together.

Very friendly customer service. I didn’t have to search for an employee when I needed help finding something and the employee was very friendly making sure all my questions were answered before letting me on my way.

Lumber is poor quality. Save yourself some time and go to menards. Ok customer service depending on who you get. Most employees are not knowledgeable on anything there

Disappointing experience purchasing a washer and dryer from Lowes of Waterloo, IA. There were 4 in stock on the website when we ordered and only the dryer showed up on the day it was supposed to, they didnt have any of the washer to provide us even though we paid for one of the 4 that they said they had in stock. Took over 3 weeks and a loaner washer that showed up late and didnt even work. Lack of communication from them. Corporate line was pleasant, delivery crew was pleasant, and some of the people I chatted with on the phone locally were pleasant, while others could improve their customer experience. I will not be visiting this store or ordering from their online store again.

If I could give them a zero I would! Their “special order” system is a joke! I ordered a “special order” window. Everything was processed in their system, I paid for the order in whole, contractor ok’d dimensions and was given a 2 weeks wait for it to come in. Fast forward 2 weeks I call the store to arrange pickup on the agreed upon date. Store rep checks on status and finds out that 2 weeks ago the contractor reached out to the store to inform them the window could not be made as ordered and offered to either change the dimensions by a foot or separate the window into 2 units. Initially I was told by the Lowe’s rep that the 2 window option would cost more but with some frustration Lowe’s agreed to give me the 2 windows for the original price. But again a 2 week wait period was given. So fast forward again! and I just called to arrange pick up for the second set of windows and was just told that it’d be another week before they come in! 5 weeks! They have held onto my money and strung me along for these “special order” windows! I WILL NEVER SPECIAL ORDER ANYTHING FROM LOWE’S AGAIN!!! I hope the windows actually show up in a week! My confidence is extremely low at the moment!

This is the worst store to ever order your appliances from. They are very unorganized disrespectful and never return your phone calls. They have also sold stuff that we purchased to be delivered when all all of our stuff came in now we waiting another 9 months just to get out over the range microwave.

I suggest anyone wanting a fence or any project to NEVER to through Lowes. Nobody, not even the store manager, followed up with our issues even after contacting them multiple times. There were multiple things that we werent happy with. Usually were pretty flexible and understanding, but this is one of worse experiences weve had anywhere. Dont waste your time or money here, youll regret it if you do!

The staff didnt seem to care at all if I found what I was looking for. Kobalt tools are sold here, looking for specific blades for a Kobalt tool... left empty handed. There are far better home improvement sites near by.

Probably your typical Lowes store. However, Larry in the window and door department is an outstanding individual. He made buying our custom windows a breeze and he could answer any question we gave him. Take note, thats a great employee.

Terrible customer service. Lowes refused to price match an item that a local competitor had on sale because the local competitor did not currently have that item in stock. Even more dissapointing was the fact that upon providing my state issued identification which verifies my veteran status, I was informed that a veteran discount could not be issued because I was not properly registered in the Lowes veteran database. What a joke.

I ordered a Water Heater that was estimated to be delivered by 10/12. I ordered it on 9/26. I wouldnt have placed the order if it wouldnt arrive by the date. I checked on 10/12 and they said that trucks dont arrive on that day and to check back on Thursday. I checked back on Thursday and the worker was very rude and did nothing but give excuses. Richard was supposed to be a manager, but all he did was give excuses and condescendingly asked me if I wanted the number for the web page to talk to them about why the date was wrong. I cancelled the order after having waiting for it without hot water. I am furious and WILL NEVER shop with lowes again.

Went in looking for a mower in the middle of November. Staff was helpful and had what I was looking for.

The products were easy to find. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I was mainly in the gardening section.

Disappointed, asked a young man for help. He pointed is down an aisle and wandered im wandering around not doing anything. We told the cashier that we were going someplace else to get what we needed from a place we could get customer service from. Her response was they were short handed.Ordered a refrigerator in August, paid for at that time. When it came in they told me they had sold it to someone else. I would have to wait until the next order came in. I complained and they said they would deliver the floor model, it was damaged but when the next order came in they would bring me the undamaged doors and change them out. I have called several times in the past 4 months and they keep telling me they have to check on it and will call me back. I have never received a call back. The last time I called two weeks ago, they had a few at another store, they would go get one, it would only take a couple of days thencome change the doors out....I called again today because I have not heard anything, the store manager told me he had no idea what was going on....he said he would find out and call me back. I am not going to hold my breath waiting. I am thinking about going higher in the food chain. I can promise one thing. I WILL NEVER SHOP LOWES AGAIN!

They are taking the covid19 precautions seriously with masks, social distancing and sanitizing. Its as close to comfortable as it gets these days.

No one will answer the phone.... no matter what time of day I call. Can’t get anyone from electrical to pick up and I’m not going to run from store to store looking for a part.

Employees there helped me find the exact tile I was looking for and loaded it up and took it to the front desk for me while I continued shopping. I was also looking for very hard to find screws that fit my new handles and my old cabinets, although they didn’t stock the right size there was 3 employees trying to help. Very thankful!

Edit: Spoke to a different manager and was given a slight discount and extended warranty.I ordered a stove via their website which stated that there were two in store. I received an email saying it was ready for pickup the next day. I waited another day before going into the store to pick it up. When I got to the counter I was told that they would bring it up. I waited for half an hour before I finally found an employee and asked them if they could tell me what was taking so long. Mind you I was standing in front of the customer service desk and no one had said anything to me other than they are looking for it. Finally someone told me that they could not find my stove and had no idea what had happened to it. I left and received a call telling me that they would order another and deliver it for free, but it would be a few more days. I then got a call two days later telling me it was ready for pickup again. I let this person know the story and asked to ensure it was the correct one. It wasnt. I got passed around and finally spoke with a manager who agreed that this was a bad experience but offered nothing to make my experience better. DO NOT BUY YOUR APPLIANCE HERE.

Okay, honestly I only visit the garden center here. They have a great selection of indoor plants that get restocked regularly. I stop twice a month to check out their selection. Staff are available to assist, but they arent following you around pushing for sales. Very relaxed atmosphere and my preschooler likes to check out the various decor.

It was great I got help with paint then he helped me find what else I needed! I walked around the store and 4 other workers asked if I needed anything. I was impressed
