As I have a autism disorder and function well within society. I appear confused and have panic. The staff at the Iowa Workforce site on University Ave. In Waterloo has as a unit helped me help myself. I am both humble and grateful. Please thank them for me.

Last year I had to file once for Christmas shutdown and kept in contact until April, I got overly brusque and complicated answers and never got any compensation. The system is overly, purposefully complicated and when asking a question the answers are uninformative and (seemingly) designed to make sure you cant get the compensation you should. I am extremely worried that the same problems will happen this year and I wont get compensation again.

They have now changed their system again and so everything anyone that had a full time job and has to make a claim once or twice a year. Has to wait over 20 days to get a check if they even get one. They have told me I was denied a check because I didnt understand there system and that wasnt a good enough reason to be a day and half late filing my claim. They have made this ridiculous hard to get a check that you have earned.

Not sure why things are done the way they are at work force they keep switching things it made way more sense the way things were done back in the day when you actually set down with a counselor one one and they would actually help you. They do offer some amazing classes in corruption with Hawkeye Community College aslo Mary T who now answers the ph was such a blessing when I lost my Job she really helped put things in perspective for me she has been great at what ever position she has held there at Work Force and they will have a hard time replacing her when she does retire

They need to allow you to file a claim at all times the website always crashes i just want my measly wages for being unemployed for a christmas break stop making it so hard we have jobs were not living off of you.

They do not work for the people or work around peoples circumstances.
