Had an appointment scheduled for a screen replacement. They did not have the part in stock when I arrived and failed to reschedule the appointment prior to me taking time away from work. Additionally they charged me for the repair and indicated that they would call me within a day or two once the part was in stock. Over a week has gone by now and they have not called and there is no phone number that will get through to store. Even the national call center for Best Buy/Geek Squad cannot get through to them. Theyre only recommendation is to take additional time away from work to revisit the store in person.
I recently brought my pc in for a tune-up/cleaning here. I needed a new fan aswell. When I got to the store the told me it would be 3-6 days before I got it back. When I asked why they told me I should be happy and those are fast times. When I informed them my computer would not be staying there for that long he just stood there silently like he didnt know what to do or say. Just poor quality, not responsive, and unprofessional. A good cleaning tuneup and fan change takes an hour or two if youre slow. Not 6 days.

I called to schedule appointment to pick up my phone...they answered and did not let me say 1 word put me on hold for 11 minutes & I HUNG UP & called back to speak to manager then the Best Buy manager got them to take my call! Rude, poor customer service!!
I usually dont write replies, I actually set up my account just to write this. Went to Geeksquad when the power supply on my 3 year old desktop went out. They plugged it in, tried to press the power button, and then took it to the back where I couldnt see it. Came back three minutes later and just told me my computer was too old and I should buy a new one. I left with my computer and took it to a small business, who looked at it and told me they could find the part I needed that day and it would only cost me $70. I doubt Geeksquad even looked at it in all honesty. Dont go there! Theyll just try to sell you stuff and lie to you.
I had a laptop that had a corrupt file and I brought it to the geek squad... they looked at it and quoted me $200 to fix it, so they recommended just buying a newer cheaper laptop. So I bought a new one and when I got home I decided to mess around with my old laptop and actually factory reset the laptop to its original state and worked just fine... will not go back
Had a virus pop up on my Mac and they helped within 5mins! And great member service!
