The store is always clean. There is a long wait for anyone who doesnt check in online... so if extra aps on your phone arent your thing, skip this place. Its got more of a sporty barber shop vibe than a traditonal salon feel, although most of the staff are women. They do decent quality mens haircuts with simple shoulder massages. You can get a womens cut, and I have there before, but the stylist was more focused on efficiency than quality. The ladies work to get everyone done as soon as possible, so dont forget to tip your stylist.

Next step, the beard.Yes, I got a hair cut. Well actually all of them, but yeah.Great cut from a helpful stylist. Ill be back.

I took my son tonight. My son is on the spectrum so there are a couple of things I always have to share with the hairstylist before they cut his hair. Autumn listened and always made sure he was comfortable and made sure the things that bother him didnt. His haircut looks awesome!!! We will be coming back!!! My boys will not go anywhere else!!!! Autumn was amazing!!!!! Thank you ❤️

Is ok, the advertising hypes it up more than what you get. My stylist wasnt very good and messed up my haircut. About the same as any Great Clips or Cost Cutters.

When in for a haircut with design and they were very truthful about doing it before they did my hair. So I did something different and it turned out amazing. Odessa the stylist was amazing and very professional. I will be going back to her.

Wasnt a personal experience; significant Checked in Online, had to wait almost 3 hours, but with everyone remaining safe, its understandable. His hair cut was very nice and the price was very good.

I was in today saw Samantha. She is amazing. Was super friendly, very knowledgeable. She really knew her stuff. I have had great luck with all of their stylist. Make sure to ask for her if she is on staff, you wont be disappointed.

Checked in on line and when arrived was ready to cut my hair. I think Maria is the better of the babers, but all the barbers were nice and friendly.

Sport Clips of Waterloo is great! I had an amazing experience for my first encounter here. My stylist Leticia was friendly, professional and recommended the MVP package which made me feel like a king! She was trained by Della which shows as her customer service is superb. I strongly encourage any gentleman to come here who wants a precision haircut and an enjoyable and relaxing time!

My grandmother and i go there every time we need a haircut! We have very short hair and they do an amazing job with fades. Autumn and Maria are my to go to girls.

Boyfriend came here for a haircut to get freshened up as we have Maternity photos coming up. Right off the bat the lady told him that she had never worked with his type of hair before but proceeded to cut it instead of getting someone else with more experience. This is the worst haircut I have ever seen. The fade is uneven around his whole head and it is choppy. The front of his hair is longer than the back. She even forgot hair around his ears and left his sideburns ungodly uneven. We now have to go somewhere else today to get it fixed before the photos. We will never be returning here.

During these times of a pandemic I didn’t expect anywhere to get me a haircut within the time frame that I needed. SportsClips all I had to do was do a quick check in online that was simple and easy. A girl named Ana cut my hair and I was astonished at how efficient and high quality her work was. Definitely going there again if she cuts my hair.

Lady didnt know how to cut hair properly. And when brought up, she got super snotty and unprofessional! Dont advise going here! They asked for a tip! Nope, nope, nope!!

About a week or two ago, I went here. Needed a trim. I said a tiny trim they didnt listen to what I said!! so they cut off a whole 2 inches. I said cut in the back because it was growing to my shoulders, they didnt cut it in the back. They also combed my hair forward. I dont know a lot about hair, but I know youre not supposed to do that!.. THEY cut it all crooked and different sizes in the front!! One side was long, the other short and choppy with ONE long hair. I was so embarrassed driving home. After adding volume and showering & brushing, it looked a little better, but it still looks terrible. In the front it looks all screwey, in the back it looks like a mullet, and from the side it looks like a terrible bowl cut. Cant get it fixed yet because its too short in the front.Will never go back. Dont recommend.

Most of the time this place is decent but autumn does a very poor job. Got her the last two times. Crooked fade and misses hair around the ears every time. She even tried to charge and extra 6$ for a regular service. Just really disappointed in her service. Idk if we’ll be back.

I’ve taken my fiancé in a few times, his hairline is receding and they found a way to make his hair look so handsome! I have also taken my 4 year old there and the girl who cut his hair worked with him SOOO WELL! She let him watch a movie on my phone and talked to him about what he was watching. She also had talked him through the whole cut to keep him calm.

Great First Impression!I and my 5 boys just went to Sports Clips for the first time. The staff was really nice and helpful. Being able to watch basketball while waiting and haircut was a treat. Lastly, the complimentary MVP treatment was a bonus! The boys loved getting designs in their hair. We are definitely coming back!

This was our first time in a sports clips. My son and I enjoyed the treatment and the great haircuts, we highly recommend this place to anyone interested. The barbers were very friendly and easy to talk to. Great place!!!

Tried checking in online at 10am and was given a message saying walk ins only. Tried again at 11am and 12:30 getting the same message. Tried walking in after a 1hr drive and was told itd be a 2.5 hour wait.Lesson learned. If you cant check in online dont bother.

Maria was great! Maria cut my sons hair just as I imagined it and it looked great! I was very pleased on hoq polite she was and the other staff was well. I will be coming back.

First I would like to say that the comments about someones appearance and degrading them is unacceptable. you wouldnt like it if the tables were turned on you and came in to your place of business to comment on you, dont do it to others! Second I would like to say that I have been coming to Morgan since the store open and she always takes care of me and the conversation is always good. The MVP is fantastic and I wont go to any other stylist! Thank you Morgan for such great work!!

Friendly people but terrible management.Consistently any time I have come in, there are 10+ people in queue and only 2-3 stylists when there are 8 seats total. On top of that, you go to check in online and it says it isn’t available. Then you come in and have an 1.5 hour wait time. I don’t care how nice the people are. That is TERRIBLE customer service.

To start off I had a lady in her 40s cut my hair. She wouldnt stop swearing to me about her family problems and rushed with my haircut. She wouldnt do anything I asked for and didnt value any opinion I had about my hair. I didnt get a steamed towel when my hair was washed out and she didnt even dry my soaking wet hair off. Overall she was very trashy that had a trucker mouth. Wont be going back to this sports clips ever again because of her.Follow up, I was in need of a haircut and decided to go back there again. I knew I shouldnt after the problems that happened last time. Anyways, I got another terrible haircut. I can honestly say that the Waterloo Sports Clips is the worst place ever to get your hair. Dont ever go there, they give the worse haircuts ever.

I went in there to get a hair cut and a beard trim and I told the lady 3inchs on top and 2 on the sides because I get comb overs. Then she just straight up gives me a buzz cut. Very disappointed. Other then that she was nice and did well on the beard trim

It is a wonderful environment with excellent customer service. They take time to know their clients and go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. I highly recommend getting your haircut there.

Had the best cut Ive had in a looooooong time. Daniel did a fantastic job and was not satisfied unless the lines were perfect. Went over my head over and over until he was happy that he had gotten all the stray hairs.Also highly recommend the MVP treatment. Im a sucker for the hot towel treatment though.I had been to a Sports Clip in another state several years back and was not really impressed, but I finally found a shop and a barber that I can go back to with confidence.

Our son has been going here since they opened. He always comes out looking amazing !!! Fast friendly staff who take time to make sure your looking your best !!! And you can get your neck trimmed up for free 😁

Worth it to sign in online when you want to go, there you can see wait times for either first available stylist or a preferred stylist. And then just show up close to expected times.

Wow, what a experience. My husband, my 4yr old son and myself walked in for a quick cut. The stylists apparently had been arguing, the tension in the air was thick. Another gal was having her boys hair cut and was upset how the gal was cutting their hair, red head stylist told shut up & stop nit picking. I said thats apporiatie to speak to your clients, she snapped at me & said stay out of it. The woman with 2 boys was almost in tears. The red head gal proceed to tell me not to have Kristi cut my sons hair. I was in shock of what was happening. Never experienced anything like that. Kristen & Cella?? Stylists who cut my husband & sons hair did a decent job, but they were physically shock up & it shows in the cuts.We will never be back.Scary
