Excellent experience ! Far North Tree Services employees and owner were professional, knowledgeable and hard working. I had a very large and tall tree that hung completely over my house. It was impossible to top cut and then drop the debris in place. The arborist was able to negotiate a very high and difficult job safely and with skill. I will use them in the future.

Far North Tree Service has done work at my home on two occasions, once for stump grinding and once to remove several very large cottonwood trees. In both circumstances they provided prompt, professional service at a fair price. I would call this company again for future jobs and would recommend them to anyone.

We had an estimate and signed the worked order on the spot as we were highly motivated to have these trees removed. We were given a window of 8-10 days. We got a call a few days later at 8:40pm saying they would be out in the following morning to cut the trees down. The following afternoon 5:45pm no one had showed up and we hadn’t received a call. My husband called to see what the issue was, at which time he was told that they couldn’t make it and would be out two days later to do the work. When my husband addressed the issue of the no call no show and lack of professionalism the owner suggested he cancel the work order and we find someone else. To have an expectation provided by a company that claims to have professionalism as one of their core values, only to be left days later back at stage one, is highly disappointing. We really wanted to support a local small business, especially it being veteran owned, but when a company suggests you go with someone else after their lack of follow through and professionalism, you do just that.

If you need tree removal, this is the guy to use! He knows what he is doing, has his equipment and a safe plan. His insurance is up to date and he again, knows his stuff. I highly recommend him. One call, thats all!

Far North Tree Service did exceptional work! Their quote was SO much better than anybody else. Other companies told me that it would be months before they could do the work. Far North had the entire project finished and cleaned up in days. I would recommend this company hands down.

These guys are great. This was our 2nd job using their service. I sent them an email from their web site, they quickly returned with a call then came out to our property gave us a reasonable quote and began working!! In 2 1/2 hours we had 9 trees safety down and away from our structures!! We are also hiring them back again to clear some beetle kill trees from our back lot! We are confident that job will be just as good!Very pleasant guys to work with and professionally done! We recommend them to our family and friends and we will use them again!

Far North was very responsive to my initial inquiry call. They spent time with me going over my options and spelled out what would be done to my yard. I feel like the job was done well and was priced competitively.

Far North Tree Service is a business that you can feel happy supporting. Not only did they do an excellent job removing some trees and stumps for me, I felt great supporting a Veteran Owned business. Their Owner was a long time Army member (I believe Mike said he served over twenty years). The professionalism of both Mike and the team at Far North was amazing. I called Far North not really knowing exactly what I wanted done with my yard. Not only was the estimate free and done by the owner which meant no surprises when the bill came, Mike really broke down my options. He let me know what the difference in services would mean for the total bill. This was a big relief to have some control over the scope of the work and not just have someone give me a price with no wiggle room to help stay within my budget. I ended up getting 2 trees removed, but I was able to keep the wood, and have it cut into 2-foot lengths. They even stacked it neatly where I asked them too. I was not sure if I wanted to have the stumps removed, mostly because I really was not sure about the process. But in the end, I did get them ground and I am so happy I did. Far North did not wreck my yard but left a nice mound where tree stump use to be and spent time raking my yard around the ground area to lessen the woodchip mess.I would highly recommend Far North’s services. The work was done well and quickly- with a very fair price.

I called for an estimate and that same day Mike came by and gave us one and we scheduled for a day later in the week. Absolutely the worst experience... severely damaged my lawn. Never showed up when promised. Tried to back out of the contract. Ended up hiring another company to finish the job. Left tree limbs in yard for a week and never showed to remove stumps

Fast and professional. I had a tall birch tree in my backyard draining the nutrients from my lawn causing a large bare spot around the tree. The tree was tall and would have been a risky take down if I did it myself for fear of damaging mine and others property. I called Far North and got a reasonable estimate. They came to my house with a crew and had the tree down, limbs and loose leaves removed and stacked the remaining usable wood as I had requested. All that took about an hour or less. I used them a second time when my neighbor and I decided a spruce tree between our houses was a fire hazard. I didnt think twice about calling Far North and I was equally satisfied for that removal.

Received a quote for four trees to be downed Saturday morning, they were able to cut them the same day, pricing exceeded my expectations, 10/10 will use again.

Mike and the Far North guys have taken down trees in my yard three different times over the last 5 years and in difficult to work locations - beside my house, my shed and my fence. Each time they did the job as I requested with no damage. The last job, about 3 weeks ago, was certainly done in a timely manner. Mike gave me the estimate on June 14th, they cut the three trees I wanted down on June 16th, and cleaned up the limbs on June 17th. If I need anything else cut, they will be my go to guys.
