I was so excited to have my hair done, it is my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. I went in and was greeted by the receptionist who was very polite and professional. Then the hairdresser greeted me and everything seemed fine when she sat me in the chair, up until she asked what I wanted.I told her I wanted a partial highlight and then almost immediately her tone shifted and she got extremely defensive.She asked what kind of look I was going for and I described it as a warm/summery highlighted look.Ill admit, I really dont know a lot of hair terminology. But the way she was grilling me and telling me Im wrong was beyond disrespectful. I didnt have any crazy expectations going in, but I at least thought I was going to be respected.It went pretty much like this: shed ask me a question, Id start to describe, shed cut me off, and tell me how thats not going to work. I never got more than a word in.After a few more minutes of this, I looked in the mirror and saw that my face was getting beet red and I knew I really, really didnt want to be humiliated anymore. So I got up, took the cape off, and left.Before I left, I said: look, I dont want to be disrespectful, but I cant even get a word in. Its my birthday and all I wanted was something nice.And yes, I did cry in my car on the drive home.

Ashley did my nails. Thats one nail spa that i will be going back to they are really nice there i told them what i wanted. So she took off my old nails and i got a new set and she put half hearts on the tips of my nails for valentines days. So thank you very much Ashley. You have done a great job on my nails.

I have never been to a place of service, where not only I, but my husband as well, were treated with such contempt. Over the 6 hours I spent there, the hairdresser was tolerable of me, I found myself envious of other customers having friendly conversation with their hair technicians. Some 400$later I figured she was having a bad day,and rescheduled my next session with them, but when my husband went to get a pedicure, he was completely ignored. I was so angry, I sent a personal message to them. They were disappointingly nonchalant. So the star I gave was for there skill. She did quite a job. I didnt get my desired result, but it was ok. I consider myself a fair person, and after 500 in products and services, and minimal friendly service, I am sad that I spent my money there as oppose to another place that would be happy to attend to my husband and myself.

Very clean, staff is super friendly and ontop of clients needs and wants. Amy and her crew went above & beyond customer service duties. I fully recommend this salon.

Went in for a cut and style and Leah was amazing. I cant remember the last time my hair looked this good after a haircut. The way it lays and naturally styles itself is amazing. The prices are beyond affordable. Cannot say enough good things about this salon. I will definitely be back.

The color my daughter got in her hair did not last more than one wash. The girl that did our nails was on her phone the whole time. Very rude. Won’t go back.

I made an appointment a week in advance with Amy, I showed up and had to wait an hour. Once she saw me she asked if I would be able to afford the hairstyle I wanted, even though I was given a rough estimate when I made the appointment. I figured no big deal I just want to get my hair done. I told her that I had a tender scalp, she seemed sorry but didnt really stop yanking my hair. Even during the hair washing. I spent 8 hours there, I dont want my hair to be finished there. She did a good job but the experience was awful.

I had some waxing done, for the first time, with Melissa and she was great! She took the time to explain what she was doing, what type of wax she was using, and was patient with me too. She let me know before she pulled the strips from the more startling areas (like my ankles and such). Then afterwards, I decided to get my nails done as well. She did my toes and fingers, and gave me a cute card and chips design for my trip to Vegas. I was very happy with the whole experience. Thanks!

I always leave Hello Darlin feeling confident and beautiful. I have super straight and thick hair and Leah and Makayla do an amazing job. I drive from Soldotna for my appointments because they are the only ones who have given me a good cut every time. The customer service is always great and Im always laughing in the chair :)

Ive gone to Brittney several times before and Im never disappointed! She was the one I always went to when I was experimenting with bleach and she always gave me advice and took care of my hay hair 🤣 her skills with a razor are the best Ive ever seen and Im always happy when I leave her chair!

Way too short and the hairdresser was literally pulling my hair

Got my hair cut by Brittney a few days ago. The interaction was weird but I was letting that go, just needed a good hair cut. At the shop Brittney had an extremely messy station, I let that go too. She began to cut as I was facing some of the other hair dressers who appeared to have disturbed looks on their faces. I was thinking what is she doing to me. She cut without using her comb to make a straight line 😳 I was already in too deep to stop. When she showed me the back I couldn’t see it very well and said so, she replied that she doesn’t hold the mirror for clients. I said okay, paid and tipped her because I felt that’s what you should do. After playing with my hair, washing it and looking at it at home I realized the back is really f up. I paied her to do her job, which isn’t cheap and tipped. I feel like I was personally attacked and have no idea why. My hair will grow back. But please don’t go to Brittney at this salon.

Britney gave me the best hair cut I’ve had in 25 years! She listened to what I wanted & talked to me about my choice. She was extremely pleasant and friendly. I get a lot of compliments on my hair now.

They put so much heart and effort into making sure you get exactly what you want from your hair appointment! I have very stubborn hair and they kept at it until the color took. I will definitely be back and recommend them to my friends!!

Most hair dressers find me difficult. I dont usually have an idea of what I want. I tell them anything but my jaw line is the limit of how short you can go. They were awesome they started giving me ideas and I would add my input. They are amazing.

Leigha is awesome! She is an expert at color, and really listens to you. She does everything she can to make your hair look its very best. I wont let anyone else color my hair.

My mother and I came in to have our hair done. Mine was an overall color which barely covered my grays. It washed out quickly and my mothers hair didnt get color matched like she needed so we paid $250 for nothing😕 I will try elsewhere.

My wife and girls love this place. (and my wife is very picky about salons) They must be doing something right. Service was very good when I purchased a gift certificate there.
