These guys are seriously the best. Super professional, knowledgeable and absolutely committed to what they do. I couldnt be happier with them. Garrett is so incredibly polite and easy to talk to. Never once felt awkward about any of them inside my home - and as a bonus they are super polite and patient with my kids! I plan on being a long time customer of theirs and honestly couldnt imagine going anywhere else.

We had an amazing experience. They were great workers, even working late to get the job done. We were involved in all decisions as the job went along; there were no surprises. I didnt know they did plumbing too. Weve used these guys for years, but when I found out they did plumbing too, we had them do this while they were out here. They are always great with prioritizing. When our heater was out in the winter, they were out here the same day even though we told them we had a gas fireplace and boiled a huge pan of hot water and were not in trouble. They are so responsive and kind. Great group of people. This week we had Alex and then Tyler work on our plumbing and they were great! Highly recommend them.

Our furnace went out and Knik Heating was a phone call away and on it quickly. We were shown our options from repairing to replacing our old furnace. The whole process of replacing our aging unit was explained thoroughly and done in a fast and professional manner. The technicians and office support staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable and experienced. We are happy with their services and would not hesitate to recommend this company to our friends and family.

The on-demand hot water heater quit working and they showed up very shortly after being contacted. Polite and professional. They showed us the problem, which was moths coming into the air intake and clogging things up with their little carcasses. Well put on a filter to prevent a re-occurrence.Weve been satisfied with their furnace maintenance for years, and will continue working with them.

Hired to diagnose heater not working. We agreed to pay a diagnostic fee. Tech said the flame sensor is probably bad we paid $537 to order and install the part Even if its a $10 part. They ordered it then returned the installed part, then I am told your blower motor isnt working and we will need to diagnose it. It will cost an additional diagnostic fee to diagnose your blower motor not working. Which is why we called them out in the first place. We have contacted another HVAC repair professional to come and actually diagnose out heater and make any repairs needed regardless of what it is. My wife and I were actually ready to replace the furnace if they had said it needed to be replaced, but to charge me twice to diagnose my heater is not working is just wrong.Your competitor showed up today and figured out the actual problem in 5 minutes. Had it replaces in another 5 minutes and was out within 30 minutes he also verified his repairs were complete. The entire visit diagnosis part and the replacement of the faulty part cost less than the flame sensor you installed which was not the actual problem, to begin with, the actual problem was fixed today by a competent technician. I have included a photo of the actual faulty part sp you can maybe educate your technician. A burnt curcit this caused all the problems not the flame sensor and he didnt even have to tear apart my furnace to figure it out which is what you wanted to charge me to do.

My water heater was reaching the end of its life cycle. Knik came out to the house and ran through several options. Estimator was very knowledgeable and transparent. Crew was on time, courteous and professional. Installed a tankless water heater and softener. It’s been about a month since installation and no issues. Everything working like it should. Office folks are excellent communicators. I’ve been in the contracting business for over 30 years and Knik is one of the best all around contractors I have worked with. Great team and great value especially if you’ve got a busy schedule and just want the job done right the first time with no issues.

Our Water Heater failed while we were on vacation and Knik Heating came out right away and evaluated our situation. They were professional and explained things very clearly and we installed a brand new boiler for our home. They were a little more expensive than some competitors, but I felt their professionalism and standard installation features were worth the extra cost. They were very clean, efficient and didnt leave the job till we were 100% Satisfied, even if it meant doing some work twice. Update/3 FebI’m not sure what others have experience in the past but I will tell you that this company has really taken care of my family over the past three weeks. Garrett was just here cleaning out ducts. After seeing the before and after pictures...I’m so glad that I got it done. He was very professional. Mark and his team were here last week taking care of my water heater and installing a garage heating unit. Can’t say enough about this company especially with these two young men. Not trying to steal you away but the Air Force could use your talents!———————————————My furnace started acting up a couple of months ago so I knew something had to be done. I tried to other companies to see if they would come out to take a look after I could do no more DIY fixes. It took over a week for one company to contact me. When I got up two days ago, my furnace had died. I called Knik heating and they sent someone over right away. Gilbert made sure to advise me about the pros and cons of the repair that could happen and then James came to see if I wanted a repair or a replacement. I decided to go with the replacement based off of what he explained. He did not pressure me at all. The finance options they have are great. Joseph and Mark were supreme professionals. Knik Heating was very quick to respond to any questions we had during the process of getting a new Furnace and Tankless water heater. The staff that came to the house to install these were very friendly and more than happy to explain everything that they were doing. The only problem that I had was not being informed of how long the process would take but when I expressed this frustration they were quick to call and apologize and explain what happened. They are extremely busy and yet they make you feel like you are the most important client they have. I will use Knik Heating for all maintenance and other issue we may have in the future for our heating needs.

I would encourage everyone to do some comparison shopping & look at other options. I feel like I got a bloated estimate on both parts and labor from this company. Their original estimate was over $3800, but we were able to purchase a comparable unit elsewhere for $1296 & have it installed for a couple hundred. The difference being around $2300! This company claims to be veteran-owned and as a fellow Vet, I’m both offended and embarrassed!

Customer service was amazing actually but that’s all I can really say. Paid for a diagnostic and the diagnostic was correct but the quote for the work they needed to do was out of this world I will never use them again for any reason. I was looking at being charged 838.45 for a pressure relief valve and an expansion tank. I don’t know what kind of mark up but that is incredible I don’t know any plumber or technician that would feel comfortable doing a job like that for that cost. I called Cassidy’s plumbing and they fixed it in 25 minutes and it cost dramatically less and they are located in anchorage. And dramatically I mean hundreds less. Tech was nice and cordial. And customer service was incredibly thorough but the labor and parts mark up and them having a “flat rate” is absolutely ridiculous

We needed a move out heating inspection and they fit us in within two weeks and had all issues fixed within the small window of time we had before closing day. The plumbers changed a natural gas port from inside to outside for my new grill. They created very little mess, worked efficiently, and cleaned up afterwards. Great fellas to have around.

Knik did a great job of getting me in the queue on short notice. The technician (John) was on time, thorough, and efficient. Very happy with the work. I was surprised by the price charged. Not certain if this was because I was an add-in to their schedule or if these are their standard prices. The work was less than an hour but I was charged a flat fee equivalent to 3 hours.

Our heat went out and I called them at about 8am and they said they would be here by 11am. They got here early! And we had heat up and running by 1015am. The tech explained how the system worked to answer any questions I had and then quickly troubleshooted the problem explaining the process to me as he went along checking things. The tech was friendly and courteous at all times. The price for repair was also really decent. Im really happy with the service I received from this place!

He corrected the invoice and initiated a refund. I followed up with the office the next day and an email for refund was received. The cost came to around $400+ which was because i signed up for a PM service plan. Which I am happy about.Ultimately, the technician was faced with an ethical choice. After realizing his mistake, does he continue forward and keep the profits, I would have been none the wiser or does he own his mistake and do the right thing? The technician chose wisely. Their service tech Ron was very polite, helpful, and did a really great job. He also went above and beyond in helping me out on a few things I was working on for my bathroom remodel. Knik Heating was quick to schedule me. Calling on Monday for an HVAC inspection they were able to get me scheduled as soon as Wednesday. When David arrived for the inspection he described the service in greater detail, describing exactly what he was going to be looking at. After the inspection he was able to provide me with an in-depth invoice with pictures and recommendations for preventive maintenance.

Knik Heating is a rip off. I would have given them 0 stars if it was possible. So I needed a little work done after the earthquake. I went to Lowes and bought a kitchen faucet and a toilet float valve. All they had to do was install those 2 things. It took them a total of about 30 minutes. They charged me over $750. That is just insane. How can they take advantage of people like that and sleep at night. I have no respect for them. They will be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

We called knik heating on Sunday for an emergency service, the total change was over $300. Unfortunately, the tech (while tracking insulation through the house from the attic) only temporarily corrected the problem. 1 week later, again on sunday, we lost hot water again. We checked the attic pipes that the tech cleared and they were fine, however the blockage was in the exhaust pipe on the roof. my husband had to climb onto our roof and break through the frozen ice with a broom, hopefully without breaking anything or sliding off. I will not be calling knik again.

I lost my Water pressure tank I had no water in the house.They pulled a Tech off another job to help me out. There very nice people and they will bend over backwards to help you. I Really recommend them to anybody.Thanks for all the help guys !!!!

Knik Heating came through when I was in a bind recently. I was informed that my tenants were without hot water so I had the company who installed the tankless water heater go out to service the unit ( on OT). The tech that came out wasn’t able to get the issue resolved and did not communicate that fact to his manager. That company did come back out after I spoke with the manager and “fixed” the issue. I believe they came out on a Friday and it lasted through the weekend. Was then told it was x amount for repairs which may or may not fix it or XX for replacement. I asked when we could get the replacement scheduled and it was a week out after already a two days with no heat. So I called Knik and Patrick came out the next day which was Thursday to put eyes on the situation and give me a bid. He could have been out same day but it wasn’t going to work on my end. The guys came out Monday and got it done. I would definitely recommend the team at Knik any day. Shout out to the squad at Knik Heating.

The Folks at Knik Heating and Plumbing are outstanding. When we had a issue with a leaking water heater they moved appts.around to get to us in a very very timely manner. This company is a rip off. Called and asked for a quote to do an inspection on our two duplexes (4 units)...they quoted us $195 for 3 units if we bought the membership so we bought two memberships to cover our 4 units. We confirmed this multiple times and even were invoiced initially for the 2 memberships. Once we gave our credit card number to pay they charged us for 4 memberships, over $800! I called to figure out why they did this and they stated that the tech who inspected our units misspoke about the price but since the service was already completed and they already paid the tech they can’t refund us. They also did not originally specify that unit per membership referred to heating unit (such as a garage heater, furnace, boiler, etc) and not living unit which we even asked multiple times to make sure. Now 3 months later they still will not return my call, and have refused to refund us.Please do not waste your time with this place! They also stated we were not allowed to use their repair list to take to any other plumbing/heating company so we were gonna have to have a full inspection done again by someone else if we didn’t want to use them for repairs.Crock! Don’t let them lie to you about being prideful in honest and reputable work!I will add the tech, David, was very professional and understanding but the manager and receptionist blatantly threw him under the bus.David, if you’re reading this you deserve better!EDIT: to respond to the owner. Actually I was invoiced a $0 balance invoice and a $392 balance invoice which I signed which exactly reflected what I discussed with David during the time of service and the receptionist discussed with my significant other. Check your records! In addition you stated there would be discounts we could use to offset the balance you overcharged us for then later stated we couldn’t use the “coupons” from the membership that we purchased with the memberships due to “we can’t give you services for basically free”. I’m not sure what you stand for besides basically being fraud. Plus I’ve been told someone would call me back about 7 times and not one person has called me back to resolve this. What agreements are you actually standing by?

Only interested in selling an expensive annual contract not in actually fixing anything. So I paid to have someone pitch their maintenance contract to me. Awesome. Will never use again.

John came the day after we called about a non emergency issue with our water pump; he quickly diagnosed and remedied our problem. John was helpful and pleasant to work with and we are very grateful to have our pump working efficiently again.

I made an appointment on Wednesday for Friday morning at 9am to get a quote on installing a new unit in a hangar. 9:15 I call and ask if they might be lost and the receptionist tells me they havent left yet. No apology only asks if we can reschedule for 10. Well, I had to make arraignments to come in late to work to accommodate this quote and they no call no show. Wont be getting my business.

I called and asked for a tech to replace a 24v transformer for our boiler ( my leg was in cast and I couldnt reach it). Transformer cost $31 at Lowes. Takes 4 screws and 2 wire nuts to change. It took longer to write up invoice.TOTAL COST $451.00BEWARE

Worst plumbing and heating company in the valley!!!! They dont even have a journeyman plumber working for them. The company is a broke shamble that is ran by factory trained salesman. They cant even pay there employees what they are worth.
