Truly a pleasure meeting you Dan and the 3 days fishing. Me and Dale both completely enjoyed the whole experience. You and your wife bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed every moment we were out there. From the ride to the cookies to taking care of our fish you were spot on. Unbelievably fun experience!! We are not usually fishing people, but Dan made for a great experience on the water. He is highly knowledgeable, provided us with some homemade cookies, and sent us home with the limit of fish! One thing to note- if you are looking for a company that will package and ship your catch home he does not do that. So you can either do it yourself (pretty easy even for novices) or pay a company to do it.

Dan is an amazing guide and made sure our entire group had a great time! Best fishing experience weve had!

My cousin Craig and I were looking into a fishing trip out of the lower fourty eight and his brother suggested Alaska. We both agreed and put the plan into motion.Three days on the Deshka and one in Homer for halibut. To make a long story short bad experience at Homer but good time and memories with Dan on the river fishing for salmon.Dan is very knowledgeable with fishing that river and where the honey holes are where the silvers hide. I also observed Dan helping a ten year old girl with catching salmon. He was extremely gentle and spoke with a inside voice all while he father was castings his lure.All and all this charter made up for the ocean trip. We went with on a trip with Dan this July when I had some family visiting from out of town. He was able to get us on the fish and worked hard to make sure everyone had a good experience. He has a nice stable boat and will take you to some quieter parts of the river away from the crowds. I would definitely go with his service again and If you are lucky you might even get a few of his wifes amazing cookies!

Dan is an awesome guide. Went on two trips and he was a pleasure for both of them. Besides that his wife is awesome and he usually has fresh made cookies for you!
